Jeep Grand Cherokee Check engine light | Purge Control Valve Assembly DIY | easy fix

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee check engine light came on. Code P0455 state to either replace the gas cap or purge valve. In a Capless Gas car, you need to clean the rim of the capless gas cap. Dirt and grime can cause this issue. The purge valve is the next culprit in these scenarios.

You can check that purge control valve before you replace it, if you cant blow thru it with no voltage to it then its most likely good, they tend to get sticky & stay open ✌
