    I recently picked up running for a cardio routine and this definitely helped out a lot.
    Also, I haven't practiced since I broke up with my significant other at the beginning of the year. I honestly think it was because it was an activity that me and her both shared so the thought of it just didn't appeal to me anymore. I'm so glad I've pushed myself into practicing again because I have been missing the mindfulness and awareness that yoga imparted in my body. Thanks, Tim! Going to be going back and starting from square one, but I'm not afraid of that, because I love having the ability to improve!

    Good Sunday morning
    This was perfect timing as I did a short run this morning. So after rolling out my legs and back area on my foam roller. Played this post run yoga video. Felt so good to stretch out, especially the standing stretches. Got a really nice stretch in my chest area. Thank you for leading us through this great yoga session today. Definitely will do again and again. And share with my runner friends

    Thank you Tim. I used to run at least 30 miles a week and decreased my distance as I've gotten older to zero miles a week. I've also decreased the amount of food I consume and try to eat healthier as well. I do the elliptical machine, step master (stair tread mill as I call it) or jacobs ladder now. The practice is VERY good for any type of post cardio workout in my humble opinion.

    Just got back from a run and found this for a stretch. I really liked the alternative to the pigeon pose as I have an "injured" knee at the moment. My question would be where does one feel the stretch on the leg extended? In the hip flexor? I didn't feel anything, but maybe I had the spacing of my legs wrong? I'd like to learn that in order to save my knees from pigeon pose. Thanks so much! Namaste.

    Great video as always Tim, thanks! You mentioned in your email about blog ideas - for me I would be particularly interested in getting your view on how regularly people should aim to practice and what that should ideally look like i.e. how long for, whether we should avoid practicing the same asanas too many days per week, should we split our practice to some days focused on flexibility, some on strength, some on just breathing etc.? Thanks!

    • @yogawithtim
      @yogawithtim  6 років тому

      Tim Senesi Yoga Hi Tim! Well, for me I want to give it as much time as I can - I have a busy life like anyone but still try to practice 5 days a week for 45- 60 mins a time. I love the peace it brings me, but also want to build strength and flexibility and maintain it as I get older (I'll be 38 in a few weeks). I certainly want to deepen my practice as much as I can. So I pretty much want everything! ;)
