Great video. Feature length 😁. If there's a sequel, could we see some more about the electrical side of the install? I.e. cabling from mains to room, and first fix? I appreciate this would usually be the job of a qualified spark and not a DIYer but I'm asking moreso out of interest.

Hello I am an avid watcher of your channel and your videos get better as time goes on. I noticed your comment about drilling the holes perfectly straight for the wood to fit on the metal bars. If you screwed 2 3x2 together to make 90 degree corner and then rested the drill in the corner and you wood get perfect holes every time

Please look after your eyes, glasses (light eye protection) are not safe enough for grinders, you need impact resistant goggles. Each spark is 3000 degrees, one in the eye can blind. Take care all. Love the vids and the work.

    Hi Liam,
Thanks for a great insight to these projects. Do you have any build using an existing concrete base without using the rod and shoe approach?
I want to build two sheds; 1st job is a tool shed 2600 x 1300 base x 2500mm high (pitched roof) on an existing concrete base.
2nd job is a larger flat (EPDM covered) roof workshop 4500 x 2500 base x 2400 tall on a soil/gravel base. That abuts the back of the house.
Would you help with any video links that advise on timber cross sections and build technique?
Many thanks and keep the tutorials coming.
    Dave

Hi Liam love the videos, right up my street. I’ve been doing garden rooms for a few years but not with a foundation like yours. I was just wondering is it worth making hole a bit deeper and putting in say 250-300mm of concrete and letting that harden, then use your system. That way rod can never go right through. It could be overkill. What do you think?

I've been waiting for a build on an existed concrete base to see how it's done. Have exactly the same situation at mine and want to know how you account for the height of the concrete base in your overall permitted development height? Maybe you're lucky and there's higher points in the garden which I don't have.
