An amazing group. Incredible harmony. I didn't know they were so multi-talented. What a funny skit and fantastic piano solo from Judith. I'd sing the Seekers with the records on, at the top of my voice around the house at age 7. Even if you weren't into folk music, the Seekers still held prominence during the 60s and are still greatly loved. Miss them heaps. 🙂❤🌷🌻🌺🌸🌿
So many people focus on Judith (and she is a force of nature), but I wish more credit were given to the boys. They weren't her backdrop. The Seekers wouldn't have been what they were without each and every one of them.
I totally agree. They showcased her voice with their perfect backup. They were as powerful in their way at making Judith great as Richard Carpenter was in his way with making Karen great.
They have been together because they are all so terrifically talented. The sound, the songs what more could you ask for, absolutely the greatest pop group of all time. God bless them all.
The talent they have as individuals let alone combined to make what I believe is Australia’s greatest band is purely mind numbing. They transport me to a time when society had values and pride.
@@PenzancePete, except they were British. They emigrated to Australia and were ‘discovered’ there. I don’t know whether the ‘glad to be home’ comment they made when they went back to England is true, but I would class them as an English group with vague ties to Australia. The Seekers were, mostly, born in Australia, and would consider themselves Australian.
@@PenzancePete BeeGees were Aussie (its where they started their musical career); many aussies were/are still born overseas and are Aussies. We are proud of our inclusive nation. But Seekers and Judith were the BEST.
Thank You Rich for posting this GREAT music. I grew up with the Seekers and went to sleep many nights with their music playing. Good Times....Good Music. They inspired me to be a folk singer.
Good things - no, GREAT things come in small packages. There are not adequate words to express my admiration of and appreciation for what Judith and the boys have given to us.
Thanks to everyone who has posted all the wonderful videos of The Seekers. In the space of a few days I have gone from just being aware of some of their songs to being an outright fan. Like many others, I am now completely smitten with Judith! That smile, those dimples, but above all, that voice!
Such a talented lady. Funny she is such a good piano player but I don't recall her ever playing in a show. My mistake, she has done shows without the Seekers where she played piano: jazz, classical, etc.
Four different styles melt into a masterpiece. Sure from God our Lord to them this gifted people to show His love and comfort our heart in these hard difficult era.
The beatles were four men, the seekers;three men talented singers and a lady with a beautiful soprano voice, no wonder they were a hit when they came to England
A tiny Seekers fan irresistably drawn to the sweetness of Judith and immortalized forever at 11:06 in the form of what looks like a London housefly.....obviously a creature with impeccable taste! jtk🍁
What a great video. They had so much fun performing - no divas here! Judith was so modest and unassuming...despite all their success to this point, it's as if she seems a little surprised or even embarrassed when the audience loves and applauds them.
I have watched this a thousand times, and each and every time I am overtaken with awe at the amazing talent of the beautiful group, but most of all, the "beauty" of Keith Potger, his smile, the twinkle in his eyes. So yummy! Now he is about 71 years of age, and still as beautiful ever. I am in love! xxxxxxx

I am 84. This should have been my music, but I had not heard of them except for the past year. I have become a fan.
So glad to see this as I was only 9 years old in 1968!
The Seekers are pure talent on stage with comical interludes! The groups of today don't hold a candle to these four excellent singers and musicians!
Unsterblich diese Gruppe und besonders die von Judith - Stimme eines Engels ….
Ähnliches wird die Welt nicht erleben dürfen !!!
All the band members are super-talented! Ms Durham's voice shines among the stars! RIP Ms Durham.
Judith's beauty and voice reached the peak on that remarkable evening so long ago.
Judith bursting with talent, but still a humble person. The combination with the guys, is something that will never happen again.
The ease at which she produces that powerful voice is amazing. They whole group is fantastic. This is what talent used to look like.
What a beautiful voice...and when they sing together it's awesome!

Of all the pop and folk ensembles in my lifetime, few ever approached, and none ever truly equaled, the perfect brilliance that was The Seekers.
So many people focus on Judith (and she is a force of nature), but I wish more credit were given to the boys. They weren't her backdrop. The Seekers wouldn't have been what they were without each and every one of them.
You’re right!
Indeed. All of them are worthwhile. Each one. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
there is also an orchestra behind them
So true. Each one brings something unique and special to the group.

I suspect it may also have something to do with the fact that they actually like each other.
The talent they have as individuals let alone combined to make what I believe is Australia’s greatest band is purely mind numbing. They transport me to a time when society had values and pride.
I think that you'll find that the BeeGees are Oz's greatest band.

What a wonderful live performance. Raw, understated musical talent, lovely vocals and harmonies, and orchestration.

As a child growing up I loved and still love the Seekers. My favourites has always been "Another You" and "Georgie Girl".
Two fabulous songs , and probably my favourites too.
all the seekers songs I like them all.....
Colours of my Life ... One of the loveliest seekers songs, Judiths vocals are sublime.
Us older generation can remember the days when music lyrics could be understood and enjoyed 🤔🙏
There's still music lyrics which is beautifull, but singers are not so famous.
Listen Katie Melua, older albums.
Oh, boy do I just love how they sing.....!!!

Apart from Judith, Bruce is also a wonderful performer. And let's not forget Keith playing a sublime 12 string and Athol on bass being the leader.
What a Group the best ever
They were wonderful and all so respectful of each other. Judith was such a powerful singer 😁
What a pleasant surprise this show was especially and gracefully watched on a Sunday morning in the Summer 2020 There is a future now possibly

For me it was all The Doors - Spirit ....and then the great Crow.
How blind was I?
Thanks, rich, greatly enjoyed. Tremendous.

Me too.
Wasnt he though. Beautiful jaw line, smile, cheekbones too. Swoon 🥰
I never knew Judith could play the Keyboards. Not quite like Rick Wakeman or Keith Emerson, but good neverthless.
The Bee Gees originally wrote the song "Massachusetts" expressly for them, but the members of the group never found out till years later.
She plays ragtime as well as anybody I've ever heard!

Fabulous!!!
Простота чистота талант голос завораживающий чего нет в нынешней эстраде!!
Bruce has a great voice and I guess he wrote that nice song too. Come for Judith and get so much more.
As far I know, their songs were written by Tom Springfield, brother of Dusty Springfield.
Roy Bean not all the songs. Look this one up
