Yes a great viedeo tribute and yes she will be missed as all the other great singers. Rip judith. Durham. Long. Live australia
To lose Judith Durham and Olivia Newton-John in the same week is a very sad time for Australia and indeed for the world . Bless their souls 🙏 ❤️
Good one James. There was much more to Judith and Olivia besides their music. Sad time indeed.
Very true, for those of us that lost family members along with popular artists that we are fans of are very hard.
The world has lost two angels.
they had a good life. all we can ask for.
When the good ones go, you can feel the world has lost something precious, but can you imagine the chorus in heaven?
A beautiful woman just passed. We will miss her wonderful voice with The Seekers but we will miss dear Judith the person more. Love X.
RIP JUDITH DURHAM WELL NEVER FORGET YOU..........
A beautiful voice, amazing character, decent, moral, no scandals - so unlike most of today's female entertainers.
good words
Will be missed by many................Sing with the Angels now Judith.
You had a voice of an angel, now singing with the angels. Greatest voice and such a lovely person. RIP Judith. Xxxx
The boys are just devastated.
Dear Lord Please Give Judith Durham and other amazing singers who have died a new life on Earth in your name I pray Amen 🙏 💔
She sang like an angel RIP lovely Judith Durham
The voice of an angel. Heaven's gain is our loss.
Great video ..... am just a guy from Manchester UK, but i have adored Judith Durham and the Seekers ever since the sixties, what a group, what a beautiful sound ...... I couldn't have been any sadder the devastating day that i learned of her death, and it felt like a part of me had died too.
Stand proud in her memory Australia, Judith was THE greatest female singer .....
RIP - Judith...and RIP - Olivia. Both gone in the same year. Two of the best female voices in music history.
I am irish and lost my wife of 55years married and now with the death ofJudy it's like another burden to bear,I truly loved her beautiful voice her personality and followed her life and her tragedy with all its consequences She truly was a marvellous talent a beautiful person God rest her.
RIP beautiful lady with a voice to match. ❤💔
RIP Judith sorely missed. Recently I spent a fortune in getting one of the signed copies of the DVD of the final Australian Concert - cost of sending it to the UK was more than the DVD - but worth every penny. The night we heard that Judith had sadly died we sat in silence watching this absolutely wonderful DVD. RIP Judith, one of the very best, there will never be another you.
Are they still available? I have the CD but would love the DVD. I live in the US. Enjoy your DVD 📀 and never forget our lady and the boys.
Ich bin so traurig 😥😪
the most wonderful voice on earth is now in heaven, but her music will never died
Somehow, I spent thirty whole years not remembering that I loved Judith SO MUCH.
They were powerful musicians no gimmicks needed!
The world is a lesser place without Judith Durham. We will all miss her enormous talent and beautiful soul.
This is the seekers I remember from the days of my youth, the boys and Judith r.i.p.
RIP Judith, but your angelical voice will never die. Sincerely,
Oh, my Lord. I honestly didn't know Judith Durham passed away just recently🤦♀. She had one of the most enchanting voices in the folk music genre of the 1960s. What a blow to many of her fans😞, especially her fellow sidemen musicians, the Seekers. Judith was known for her forceful and articulate phrasing, whose singing voice compared to Mary Travers, who sang with the trio Peter Paul and Mary before she died in 2009. Now we've lost one of Australia's endearing songstress together with the demise of Olivia Newton-John🙏. RIP, Judith Durham😢. You are gone, but you will always be in our hearts💕 and fondly remembered😇 whenever your classic song Georgy Girl is on online radio.
"I am Australian" is such an evocative song, a masterpiece.
Judith had a beautiful, captivating face and voice, and a personality to match. No airs and graces. I'd loved to have met her. The song 'Some day one day' must be the first song that touched me because I went into a recording booth at a railway station in London and recorded on a 45 rpm which I have hidden away so my children can't have a laugh at my expense. 😂 In any case, I no longer have the little portable turntable to listen to it 😢
Judith, you made The Seekers a great group. Your voice leant a unique alteration to their sound. You are and will be missed.
R. I. P.
voice of an angel, RIP dear Judith
Seems she had everything. Looks, voice, sunshine personality, a whole world that loved and adored her.
And a great bunch of equally talented guys that made the Seekers.
What I find amazing about Judith, besides her awesome voice, is that she had suffered from bronchiectasis since age 4 (and prior to that, asthma) yet she was able to sing with that strong voice, clear into her late 70s. If it interfered or held her back in any way, it truly did not show. RIP ❤❤❤
About 2 to 3 months ago I was listening to you some '60s records on UA-cam when I heard a song from a band The seekers. So I thought wow I know I heard those songs when I was young I never knew who sang them. So I furthered a search on UA-cam and found the seekers. I haven't stopped listening since when I heard I am Australian I started to pray. With tears in my eyes I pray for the Australian people I don't know why. Since then I've been over whelmed with the amount of love I had for the Seekers
I was so consumed with the music I could not stop listening The more I heard the songs the more I pray for Australia.
Then on the tragic day of August 5th I heard that Judith was gone. So why God had me listening so much to the music maybe I'll never understand, until I am in His presence. Blessings to Judith's Family, friends, and fans
Mrs Dan Dare here. Big fan of The Seekers & most especially Judith Durham ever since I discovered The Seekers albums in my dad's collection when I was child in the 1970s. Judith will be sadly missed. RIP Judith. Keep singing in heaven
Judith Durham, my love for you will be many century’s away before demineralization occurs! You have the sweetest voice ever recorded! Your attributes of a singing artist will never be matched by another living soul on earth! God Bless you Judith ❤️❤️❤️!
THERE NEVER WILL BE ANOTHER YOU.
Nice.
Judith,what a voice and legend,RIP
Great video and great tribute to Judith Durham! She was a wonderful singer and entertainer! An absolutely gorgeous woman also. RIP Judith!
Judith was a gift to the world. Thank you.
Miss Judith so much. Her voice and songs are our treasure. They bring the great memories of the folk music days.
Lucky us who saw & heard Judith whether in person or on video. So cute, as almost shy until she starts singing in modest clothing with an incredible appearance to match her easy going singing. Her 3 guys were also excellent.
As a youth I would sit, most Saturday evenings, with my grandad and watch variety shows on TV. He was a man of routine who went the pub every night a 8pm. His only exception was when Judith might be on. Recently rediscovered this amazing, warm and incredibly talented lady. God bless her and thank you for the memories. RIP.
Wonderful story.
I can't think of many other musicians who are so widely loved, respected and admired as Judith Durham. I may not live to see it, but there's no doubt in my mind that her life will be on the big screen, either made in Australia OR Hollywood. Her story is so evocative, it's a no brainer. RIP JD.xx
Which actor can. Match the real person
@@brianlowe3529 I don't know, but who knows what'll happen and who will emerge over the next 40-50 years?
They’d have to dub the singing with Judith’s rendition. There’s no-one around who can match that voice.
I Love ❤️ Georgey Girl have since I first heard it, sweet beautiful people should never have to die.
Her legacy Will be forever. Thank you for the good music Judith Durham.
Her Soul goes singing on. She truly was fab.❤
It’s sad Judith is gone but her spirit will always be present in her greatest legacy, the wonderful music of the Seekers.
I have always considered Judith the best female singer I have enjoyed and the only positive is that her music will be around for a long long time
I just saw today, that Judith had passed away. So sadly. Wauu I love her voice. It was long time ago she sang their first song, and we all know age can be against us. But no matter what, nothing will ever make me forget her voice.
R.I.P. Judith.
We won’t ever forget you Judith. Thank you for all your music.
Rest in Peace Your voice is beautiful
I'm from Hong Kong....your singing is growing up with me...accompany me through happy and sad times...thank you...
Farwell Judith, you can take that wonderful voice of your to heaven znd sing fir God now, will be missed
A wonderful career spanning six decades
the most beautiful angel with the most beautiful voice God has sent to earth for mankind is now with God in heaven. Thks Judith, Thankyou God! 👍🏻🥰
What a fantastic song "I am Australian" is. could be their national anthem.
I’m not Australian but British and that song makes me want to become Australian. Judith was one in a million she will be missed but at last she is with Ron both at last together. R.I.P. Judith and Ron
@SW6 I wish 'I am Australian' was our National Anthem. 🇦🇺
One of the finest singers. So effortless and pure. Absolutely beautiful! People swoon over Adele's vocal delivery but to me Judith Durham was far better.
I would put Ketty Lester's vocal delivery on equal footing with Adele; maybe even better. Ella Fitzgerald could do things with a song that I doubt the ladies of this era could imagine.
RIP Judith Durham. Your voice was one in a million.
I believe I Am Australian should be our national anthem.
What great loss Judith Durham was beautiful lady voice so beautiful we will miss her so much thank you so much Judith Durham for beautiful you give us rip beautiful lady
An Australian icon. Sleep in peace Judith
When she sings, "I am, you are Australian," I feel we all are Australian. Her voice is one-of-a-kind.
sings with her natural voice ... not a lot of singers like her Thanks for the video great singer
thankyou sister Judith - I will never forget
How awesome was she..! "Someday, One day" (Paul Simon), what a great song.
What a fabulous voice Judith had
Along with Linda Ronstadt and Brenda Lee, I put Judith Durham on top as the greatest female vocalists!! Her music is her legacy, and will live on for ages. RIP, Judith.
I agree Michael
I would probably add Karen Carpenter to that list also.
Agree with the names mentioned, although it's so hard to "rank" them, since any great singer has her own unique style (and that style is itself conditioned by the type of music she chooses). That said, I'd put Judith at the very peak of the mountain for the shimmering clarity of her voice, which has mesmerized the millions of people fortunate enough to have heard her. And, yes, spiritual depth and passion ran through everything she sang, even on the most secular material. There was no one quite like her while she lived, and there won't be again. Rest in peace, Judith -- you're one for the ages.
I don't remember what I have said. Usually I' very drunk if I take part of these talks. Anyway, thank you for your comments. I was a young ladd, when I listened Seekers here in Finnland. Judith Durham has a voice of an Angel. I do not know how to work with this phone, so I do not know how to answer to you. I wish you have a great life, peace and love. My name is Seppo, 74, from Finnland.
He, he. To whom I am answering?
Never seen that solo interview before. So articulate, and seemingly leaving her shyness behind to some extent.
Sadly missed. Much love. RIP
Oh Judith, you were so wonderful, what a devastating loss to the music world. Never seen this interview before, and it's brilliant She seems so relaxed with no pressure of the group to worry about, and contented with her married life, no doubt. I love to hear her speaking voice and, as someone already mentioned, she's very articulate and able to get her point across. That gorgeous smile never fails to melt my heart, she was such a sweetheart. A beautiful lady with a fabulous voice and a loving heart. RIP dear Judith.
What a magnificent voice and what a legacy.
Underbar sångröst 😢 RIP Judit From Sweden
You brightened up my life , Judith.
What a lovely down-to-earth lady Judith was. Extremely talented and beautiful voice. Wish I could have met her or seen her in concert.
I don't know how often she ever played in part of USA where I live but I frequently watch the many videos of this incredible singer and group.
RIP Judith.
Her voice will continue its healing work-
True. Her destiny.
She had in her voice a great talent -simple as that - it was also a fabulous group - I heard them first in the days of my childhood - just outside London - I rediscovered Judith - a few years ago - living as I steel do In Ireland.
Thank you for sharing, being in the States don't get to see. Can't believe Judith is gone, may she rest well.

An Amazing Singer , ABSOLUTELY Wonderful, lots of love from Ireland 🇮🇪
Lifetime Seekers fan here, and every bit of footage (bar Someday, One Day) was new to me! That 1970 interview... Judith in her prime, in every respect. Should have been made a Dame in my book - an absolute ornament to the country, and a gift to the world.
The Seekers sold 50 Million Records Wow
Mais uma maravilhosa voz que silenciou ...tristeza....mesmo estando tão longe da pátria desta estrela musical me sentia muito próxima por sentir na alma a musicalidade na voz
