Asking, because on Merc's they recommend that engine be tilted all the way down to ensure no water is left sitting at or near bottom of gearbox (lower unit), where it's prone to oxidize over time and make bearings and/or seals difficult to remove (extract).
Great video…on my 175 sho I can’t run my ear muffs on land…..does anyone here have to same issue……seems I must place place deeper in order to get to pisser to work.
Love my 250 vmax man... pushes my 23ft robalo with easy.. with every engine I install the bolt on hydrofoil.. helps steering and holeshot like you wouldn’t believe

What size pitch on your prop? 15 1/4x 19?

On our 1996 21' wooldridge deep water plus with a deep v, it does about rough 58 mph average with a 15 1/4x19 . Had the same kind 250 SHO since 2016
