I’m always surprised how it looks like some people look like they’ve never pulled a boat out of the water before, when clearly it looks like they go boating often. 🤔
If I owned a boat ramp, I would install a winch system to help pull the vehicles up the ramp. Of course that would be a substantial extra charge but I bet many would be willing to pay.
Boat is full of water. Bilge pump always had some form of trickle from it. Never did look like the boat was all the way up to the bow stop either. Just my $0.02.
A transom that low cut is just begging for trouble in a following sea. They were taking water over the stern at times, just trying to get it on the trailer.
Always check the underside rear of used trucks. Because that is how you get a ton of rust on them. And why wouldn't they winch that boat all the way up and put the transom straps on to keep it from moving?
Right. Check out the U-Haul Rent-a-Pick-Up guys. Mom gets a new Tesla, Dad gets a 20 grand used boat and a trailer with dry wheel bearings and the hand-me-down Camry tow vehicle. Or Dad blows the bank with a 35 ft. 900 HP go-fast but thinks the Jeep will be just fine. Psyco.
Let’s say it together folks. Vehicles with 4 wheel drive should keep their 4 wheel drive usable. All these trucks aren’t 2 wheel drive I guarantee they just deleted it for stupid reasons
Looks like the drain plug is out and the battery is running down barely able to run the bilge pump. It's listing to the right because of the water, and probably the ice chests are right of center.
When the truck is bounced down, at that lowest point there is more force pushing down on those back tires than just their weight alone can provide. You are adding kinetic energy to gravitational energy, just for a moment. If the wheels are spinning at that moment, the extra force will help the truck gain traction, and it could be the difference between slipping and moving. Even though it's momentary, it could be enough to get some movement and momentum going in the truck. It doesn't help if the tires are not already rotating though.
@@Zzrdemon6633 Agreed. The 500 extra pounds standing on the dock with their brains parked in neutral would have shortened this video by about 80%. They were trying to push the truck up the ramp with their eyes.
They might've gained a little standing on the bumper, but there was too much risk. Another person in the box, would've still been the same or better without the chance of getting run over if things went worse.
Broncos Guru! Could you actually read this? Give it a try. Would you please .... please ....devote one, I'm not asking for much, maybe 8 or 10 minutes a month to folks who know what they are doing? In 3 minutes 30 seconds.Don't say you don't know who I'm talking about. (You called her by name.) Incompetence is entertaining, but really, you could show something educational .... once a month? Kind of a "How to ...". Constant failure is not representative of Florida boaters in general, and is embarrassing when presented to the world. Like they say in New York .... "Hey, it can't hoit".
Excellent point, Ken. Bronchos has an excellent channel and teaching people how to perform this task correctly would be beneficial to even experienced boaters who occasionally run into issues like the one shown here. It would increase his exposure too.
This shows the value of having 4 wheel drive. Front tires would have helped greatly.
I don't care where you live, if you own a decent size boat, you should have a 4X4 and good tires.
or a slip.
Trailer guides are a life saver when it comes to loading
One of the best ones yet. That was good😅
omg no 4wd i take it ?? what a gamble !!!
With no locking diff, it's essentially one wheel drive.
When my tires start slipping, I just switch into 4 wheel drive and it comes right out.
Please, just take the boat home, park it in the front yard by the road, and put big a FOR SALE sign on it.
🤣! Good one.

Rename this title, "How many men does it take to pull a boat out?" 😂😅

Yep that was one heavy boat. Water on the back would cause the trailer to become tongue light, no weight on the rear axle of the truck.
Ford, GMC guys jus entered the chat😀 lol
The struggle is real.
what amazes me is Florida is supposed to be a boating state, yet it seems most don't know what the hell they are doing half the time!
That is is the Cuban way, oy ve!
I saw about 400 pounds just standing there on the dock that would have made all the difference in the world.
🤣
@@ethanwooten8511 You saw her too?
Are all these 'monster trucks' in the USA only 2 wheel drive?

almost like they make trucks in 4x4 configuration

This is a sad case of not knowing what they doing.....
I am shocked that no other Masons around to help. Note the Masonic symbol on the back glass of the truck.
They should put 4 wheel drive in the first place because 4 wheels have more traction than 2 wheels
Why they use no 4WD?

I think it’s something to do with his goose neck. There may even be a problem with the tow bar connection 😂😭😭😭🪿
One wheel drive truck

Give it a small amount of throttle put foot on brake to control wheel spin. Drive out
Why don’t these people carry a pail of sand, kitty litter, or flordri to absorb the moisture, and give you traction.
How does bouncing help?
Traction on rear tires

That was painful to watch.
Use a fucking spring line!!!!!
Let not even mention all that salt water the guy forced into the wheel wells and chassis
They make trucks 2wd only? I'm in Canada, what's the point of owning a 2wd truck...
I've seen this before. Put the boat back in the water and reposition the truck and try again. That's all this other guy did before.
For the love of god…if you are launching a boat, make sure you have 4WD.
But then they can't afford the boat. 😊
Dodge. 😂
What kinda Americans buy 2 wheel truck
A truck without 4 wheel drive can't do truck stuff.
Agreed. A 2-wheel drive truck is like a tall station wagon 🤣.
Why are people so lazy and think they have to float the boat all the way on the trailer. Are they afraid of turning the winch handle 😂.
Why would you buy a truck that’s only two wheel drive?
Uses less gas.
I can't believe the shit I see, WTH!! this must be fake 🤣🤣
Those guys on the bumper would be better if they had their weight over the wheels in the truck bed.
Nope, it's actually the opposite the farther back puts more weight on the axle, due to leverage
