One blade in particular you have there caught my attention immediately. The Station 9's #-12 Undercover! I bought it right away. Something in the design of that knife "compelled" me to do so along with several of your other subscribers! Got it today and MAN, I'M A HAPPY CAMPER!!! Posted it to my FB page and TWO of my friends end up doing exactly what I did! TOS, THAT doesn't happen, this is a first!!! I sent your video to their messenger but, they had already bought it lol, though they "did" enjoy the video cause they actually got to see the knife, smh!!! Although I did give em the link first, still I think you know what I mean. So, chalk up another great knife I've gotten from your channel! Thank you...
Okay I watched it twice. For concealed self-defense carry I would pick the agent 001 first. Love the pancake sheath, holes on both sides, better mounting options. The birds beak promel is going to be great for fast extraction and good retention in the hand. Glad to have such aggressive jumping in forward grip when my thumb is so close to that back edge. Got to love that junkie😅
To me the Armis looks even more so like the Amtac Northman. I've come to understand my preferences with my fixed blades more and more, and I like a lot that are all similar designs. Compliance edge, amtac, ribsplitter, defenselab, turnercnc, tkell, pinkerton, black roc, ect... they all make similar sick pikal fixed blades...and I want them all lol.
Love the tanto, why is there one horizontal strap instead of two does it make it hang on an angle? I learn a lot from this channel including your rants😊 I've never heard of an emperor's node although I have done various things to neutral handles for indexing. Find it important to know where I'm at without thinking much less looking for fiddling around with my grip. No time for micro adjustments😮
Williams sheaths are done by TRC in Lithuania. They are amazing but I really don't like the belt loops because the screws tend to seize. I only carry static line so I had to drill those out on the szm 003, luckily I didn't damage the sheath by doing so but my heart definitely stopped for a moment haha. By the way the Italian guy you mentioned at the beginning who I am close friend to only recommends static line carry for the exact reasons stated here, especially when grappling it's very easy to stab yourself if you have the sheath clipped somewhere with an ulticlip or something. I would say I very much agree on that myself.
If I pull that T'kell out in a hurry cutting the pocket will be the least of my concerns of course. I have found however in most cases the 3-inch slim ulti clip can be adjusted ,(possibly a new hole) to keep the upper edge of the sheath out of the pocket. Bob is my favorite big knife guy hard to imagine he cares about such a little, teeny weeny, tiny, itsy bitsy knife 😅
There is another station ix knife with a ring on the index finger part, it is awesome. It makes me feel....dangerous. I have that one as well, the heat treat isn't always the best with that company but for the price and being a tactical knife, I can live with it. Great knives, thanks
The Viper Handy looks cool, but where do you see it for $160?! Everywhere I look it's at least $200 for basic G10, with Ultem coming in at $220 and CF at $240-$260.
Price went up significantly, it appears, since my two purchases! Lowest I see is the Ultem at $200 at WMK, less 10% discount using my code, "OG-Blade" is $180, shipped, so closer. As always I can't guarantee inventories from multiple dealers though....
Dave I don't mean to cause you extra work I don't mind at all, totally unoffended if you just drop a ❤ for whatever. You are a very busy knife influencer. Thanks again for all you do.
Yes!!! 52100 with a 10 degree edge angle per side can out cut maxamet with a 20 dps. Geometry is truly most important. Not sure maxamet can even handle a 10dps edge with thin stock thickness.
Station IX is a sleeper! Can't believe how little they charge for such an awesome knife.
Absolutely! 👍🗡️👍
Well, they’re all made in China, so that’s how.
Also, that Station 9 model has a choil counterintuitive to defensive use.
Two of my friends snatched it up immediately after I posted it on my FB page!!!
Gonna have to check them out,i hadn't heard of them.

Glad you enjoyed the review! 😄

I think that would be a great choice! 👍
For me is the TKell 🇪🇺🤝🇺🇸
Great choice! 👍🗡️👊

Well the amtac knives aren't gonna be made any more if I remember correctly
Great video 📹 👍. 5 awesome blades .
Thanks 🙏🗡️👊
From the first fraction of a second we recognize the Lionsteel Osoraku Zukuri just by its very special handle.

Yes, was thinking of TRC, right 👍

I hear ya! 🙂
I'd still take the Spyderco Street Beat over the Viper Handy
If you do a back cut in forward grip with that number 12 whatever the serrations don't get that trailing point is going to rip and tear 😱
Armiger 4 Demko my fav fix blade/ TKells Guardian my fav defender
Nice list.

Yes that one is fashioned after Fred Perrin's LaGriffe! I agree that the heat treat on these should be adequate, particularly the 1095 series. 👍🗡️👊

🙏 Appreciate you!
Anyone who doesn't like the Handy, doesn't own one.
I spotted the T-Kell right off the bat!

Really?! That is cool and i wouldn't have known man thanks!
Did you see the CRKT HZ4 already?
Wasn't aware of it but just looked it up. Got the HZ6! 👍🗡️
@@OGBladeReviews They just dropped it for 2025, I like the compact style, like the Yukanto back then.
How many paintings of a vase of flowers on a table next to a window have you seen...I'm over it!!! Design away folks!!.... have at it!!!
