Ghost O.O it’s not an exact science. People have been falsely accused for that before, so they no longer consider it to be a proper forensic identification tool 🤷🏼♀️.
It's hard to do. The only reason they could match Ted bundy to the bite marks of the sorority girls was because he had a very distinct bite with crooked teeth. If all three had normal teeth you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them.

They never tried because they ruled it as accidental falling.
It's obvious that the three of them killed her.
1. Lauren wanted to go home. She probably didn't feel safe.
2. How can two people sleep in one of those hammocks? Even if they can, why would Lauren? Also How could Lauren climb out of it without waking up the guy? Hammocks move A LOT.
3. Those people continued at the festival even after finding out about their "friend's" death. Not to mention that they called it "The best weekend".
4. They didn't attend her funeral.
5. Mean comments traced to them.
6. The injuries.
7. The dummies didn't reach the water when dropped from the cliff.
8. Lauren was floating, her lungs had no water.
9. Abusive and violent behaviour of one of the guy.
10. Lauren's body was too far and in the opposite direction of the campsite.

Exactly, and I've seen a few comments about how her tampon was in and I highly doubt that Lauren would have just had one on and if she didn't and it was put there on purpose I doubt a. Man would know how to properly put one in so I had to have been the other girl on the trip. So we know for sure that she was involved in some way

@@set124 dry drowning is a thing it can be triggered by a teaspoon of water getting in the lungs. Same process as drowning just without water in the lungs
The friends covered the crime up. There just isn’t enough evidence to prosecute. I know this case really well.
Angela Bordack it is really sad. Most of us have been in those situations where everything sounds fine and dandy until you’re stuck somewhere with some shady characters and shitty friends and try everything to get yourself out of that situation. Maybe not to this extreme, but relatable. I feel terrible for her family because they know those 3 know exactly what happened and at least one murdered her.

Same here. I am quarter way through the video. I've already heard new stuff that happened on the trip. Her friends suck! Sorry but if your friend needs a place to crash you make room knowing the spot she was going was dangerous. Also the group she slept with did it. The bruising on her body shaped as the pointed end of the canoe proves she was moved & the canoe was used.

I agree, I've looked into this case quite a bit and I've never been able to believe that it was an accident. Those 3 "friends" are *_extremely suspicious,_* and sadly I think they obviously did something to her and covered it up. I've wondered if Wakefest makes a lot of money, and also money for the surrounding area and there was a lot of pressure to find it as an accidental death. I don't know, but I feel terrible for family, especially her poor mother. 😖
wearing a tampon when you're not on your period can be really uncomfortable and actually pretty dangerous, she wouldn't be wearing this for no reason.

Exactly she could have gotten Toxic shock every girl knows about that risk even girls who don't wear tampons know about it. Plus if she thought she was due her period she could have taken medication to delay it? Because I'm pretty sure u can do it with the birth control pill pill and there's other medications that can as well.
most girls (that i know) have period trackers in their phones, if she had one then maybe they could've known if she was close to getting her period, if she wasn't then she wouldn't have used a tampon.

I think that she was sexually assaulted. Especially of what the ex girlfriend of Arron said. That he was really abusive towards her and he would leave marks along with *bite marks* .
I mean that has to stand out. And for the victim to have what seemed of those type of marks makes him look really guilty. Plus if she did drown, how did she not sink. If the drowning didn't happen that way, how did she get to the cove. Then when police were going to her, they saw Arron going the exact way.
And since she had a tampon in, police don't think she might've been raped? Like you said, this guy might've put in a tampon to look like she wasn't raped. Plus how tf do the investigators think she changed clothes.
I think Arron sexually assaulted her, suffocated her, and then put her in the cove so he could get the right material or take her to a place where he figured out what to do with her and that's why he was seen canoeing towards her direction knowing it was her before anybody was even alerted that she was found dead.
Like that would seem SUPER suspicious If you ask me.
When the cop was in the boat with them and overheard them talking. They were defiantly talking super suspiciously. Like planning to steal his gun.

I feel as if the police that were assigned to this case didn't really pay much attention to the smaller details. They just assumed because they didn't feel like going more in depth into the case. So disappointing. It literally is in front of them.

And once the case was declared an accident, the 3 of them merrily, without a care enjoyed the festival. I'm sure it was the two boys and the girl helped them cover it up.

The latest info I could find was that a civil suit was pending (mom trying to sue the friends for wrongful death) and vague statement about how the case "may" go to trial, but no news on charges or updates, and zero sources saying it was solved.

I've seen an update that the mother is filing a wrongful death suit against the friends because she died under suspicious causes and they were the last 3 people to see her alive.
Two theories:
First of all, the fact that her own mother knew something bad would happen may suggest that Lauren was acting strange. Maybe someone she knew was going to the festival had harmed her before? Secondly, the fact that Chris knew nothing even though he was right next to her just seems sketchy. Not only that - they said Lauren was just friendly with Chris, but they never said what Chris was like with her...
I'm terrified of unsolved cases because that means the killer is still out there and I could walk past them without knowing it

While unconscious, his bones were able to evenly distribute the force and while he was sore, no major damage had been done. Now that was a single case of course, but it does not erase the credibility of bones sustaining damaging.
Bruising, yes, there would definitely be more if she had fallen. It's inevitable. You can bruise without breaking a bone. But if you break a bone, there has to be bruising.

bite marks are actually realy bad for evidence, tbite mark comparisons arent and shouldnt be used for evidence. there was this one murder case where they wrongfully convicted someone bc of a bite mark, he spent 40 years in prison until they found out he wasnt the killer. they shouldve done a rape kit for sure though. and maybe look for his dna on the bite mark

They would most likely have to be higher in the ranks than just a cop your average cop has zero power on cases like this. It’s more down to the department itself on what decisions are made and how much effort is put into cases not a single cop unless that cop was closely associated to a higher ranked member

Even so dry drowning and secondary drowning usually happen when someone exists the water. This girl was raped, murdered, and thrown into the water. I honestly think Hannah did it along with at least one of the guys. Idk why, but I don’t know any guy that would think of finding a bra that relatively fit her AND thought to use a tampon to deter investigators from looking into sexual assault. Whoever was the medical examiner in this case was an absolute idiot

This case needs to be opened back up.. there is just too much evidence pointing towards sexual assault and sadistic shit. He must have came from behind her and bit her (or pushed her down the hill to get her in the canoe but maybe couldn’t get her all the way in) and attacked her got her on the ground with his knees pinning her down. Then after he couldn’t put her in the canoe gave up and left her in the water and was coming back to get her when the police told him to go. Idk that’s what I think could have happened but she also could have just been super drunk and felt down face first down that cliff thing.

Would you be mentally sound, mentally stable enough, to stay where your friend had just died? And even if you were, how could you feel safe after something like that? Especially if the most believable, most likely scenario was foul play, how could you continue to stay somewhere where, very likely, a homicide- and of your FRIEND- just took place?

My bestfriend was smoking pot(which she’s done before just not with these two) with two boys, she asked for water both boys went upstairs and when they gave her the water she took a drink and her gut told her to get out of there, she had a panic attack which they say happens when your date rape drugged, she left the house and sat in her car and had her mom pick her up, she threw up in the car, passed out when she got home, me and her did research and her systems were those of the date rape drug GHB (I think) so I always say follow your gut and if u drink something and feel weird after, get out of there!!!!

I got drugged at a party two halloweens ago, thank God i only took two sips before i realized i was loosing touch with what was happening around me and that something was wrong. I threw up a lot but thankfully somehow nothing really bad happened to me. i really believe if i had a lower tolerance (I can drink like a mule lmao, and substances in general take a lot to effect me, even prescriptions) and if i had kept drinking, something much worse could have happened to me. my friend showed up about an hour after it all hit me (two hours later than she was meant to meet me at this party) and immediately had to take me home and take care of me. I felt bad enough for ruining the night as it was, but she made feel extremely guilty for getting sick and just overall was not very understanding of my situation. she was pissed that she had missed the party to take care of me. at the very least, she got me home and safe though, so i can be thankful to her for that, i guess. all of that said, she and i aren't friends anymore because of how she treated me that night. you find out who your friends are...
i guess moral of the story :: never go to a party where you only know one person, and never stick around at a party where the one person you should know hasn't shown up at the agreed time to meet. if you're gonna drink anything, keep a cap on it-- i had this drink in my hand the whole night and never set it down and returned to it. i can pretty much clock when i would've been dosed: i turned my head to speak to a guy over my shoulder, for maybe 20-30 seconds, and either he or someone with him put something in my drink-- which was in my hand. unfortunately i have no clue who the guy was. be super aware of yourself and your state of mind. I knew I had had one drink, and two sips of a drink and then i was on the floor and puking : NOT normal for me-- a heavyweight, as stated above. take your time drinking and if you notice something isn't adding up, STOP. I'm a smart drinker, Ive never left a drink unattended and I still got fucking drugged.

Sometimes rental cabins have a limit of people allowed in it. Ofc most people would ignore that rule because you probably wouldn't get caught. But if you break rules like that in some situations they kick you out of the cabin and you don't get your money back.

My male roommate and I have a female friend who one night was sexually assaulted and harassed while crossing a bridge in the city. She called my roommate, who at the time wasn't living with me yet, and he convinced her to go to the police and make a report. She was too uncomfortable to go alone, so he went with her. It was late at night so there were very few detectives still in the station and they got two female detectives. You would think great right? Two females will understand what I just went through. NOOOOOO. One detective was cold and heartless, asked her what she was wearing to provoke it, did she come on to the guy, was she currently sleeping with anyone, was she even currently sleeping with my friend who had gone with her to make the report, the detective even hit on my male roommate while they were there!!!
THEN came the worst bit, they found a case file from a few years before that showed where our female friend had called and reported an intruder in her house. At the time, the police had taken so long to get there that the person was long gone. And they accused her of making a false report and said next time she did that that they'd sue her. So I guess the report was already negative. So these bitchy female detectives pull out the case file and say ohhhhh I see here you've reported a false case before. Was this "assault" on the bridge part of your imagination too?
