    Oregano oil!! I use a Holistic dentist. I had used a dentist for years that I didn't realize was not looking out for my best interest. During that time, I developed an abscessed tooth and the secular dentist wanted to put me on antibiotics and do a root canal. Fortunately, my sisterinlaw intervened and got me to a holistic dentist who confirmed the tooth was abscessed severely and she would have to extract if the infection could not be eliminated.(Never do a root canal!) She had me use oregano oil internally to treat the infection. Ten drops in the morn and evening for six weeks. (it tastes yucky but in juice its tolerable) It totally eliminated the infection and I did not have to lose my tooth. That has been four years ago, not problems since, and I am really impressed with the healing power of oregano oil!

      Terry Lynn Henderson About the oregano oil... Is there a special kind that is meant to be ingested vs being applied topically, or are they all the same?

    • @terrylynnhenderson6563
      @terrylynnhenderson6563 7 років тому +4

      There are several good brands that are able to be ingested. Dr. Petre had me use Premier brand. She sells it in her office, but, since I live an hour and a half from her, after the first bottle, I found it on Amazon. Young Living Essential oils are also good. They are a bit more pricey than Premier, but, both are very good quality/organic. Bless you.

      And, no, they are not all the same. She had me do 10 drops in juice and drink in the morning and in the evening. Knocked the abscess in my tooth right out, but, she had me do it for six weeks. It kills all infection in your body.

    My mother-in-law is 90 years old with dementia. She was very anxious at bedtime, getting up multiple times to check all the doors and windows. We were worried we would find her on the floor somewhere in the morning! I began diffusing 4 drops of lavender with 1 drop of peppermint at 7 pm. What an amazing difference it has made!!! She goes to bed without barely a worry and more importantly - she stays in bed and does not wander! I'm so grateful I was introduced to essential oils! Thank you two for sharing with us. Essential oils are great, however because of their potency there are essential oil safety guidelines (see Robert Tisserand's work or consult a certified aromatherapist) that should be considered,,ingestion should be with caution so as not to overwork liver and upset mucus membranes. Also,,with regard to aromatherapy some essential oils have a chemical compound that can slow respiratory in small children and should be approached with caution or delayed in use with small children. Using topically should also be used with caution and always with proper dilution so as not to induce sensitization or photo toxicity. Essential oils can also be contraindicated with some pharma prescribed meds. Oil on in safety!

      Sugar cravings are commonly due to an overgrowth of fungus in the gut, thus a Candida overgrowth. So try the clove and oregano. Research small intestinal fungal overgrowth (SIFO). Your gut and brain communicate via the vagus nerve, the gut is the second brain. Candida love sugar, so they send signals to your brain to tell you to eat lots of sugar. Try to avoid ultra-processed foods too.

    I enjoy what you both do so much, & this information is very great & helpful. I am not licensed as anything in healthcare just yet, however when it comes to internally digesting essential oils, I am not for it, only consuming the natural source how it was done in ancient years. For example, frankincense, it is native to my country, I am from Eritrea (which is apart of the Red Sea coast in the horn of Africa, & was once apart of Ethiopia, & the border for Egypt) I grew up with seeing my mom chew the actual frankincense, that's how it was consumed, she would chew it up & throw it in our traditional incense burner mechanism with the coal. I started dong this recently & I can't tell you how overall good I felt, I just chew one in the morning, to not overdue it, but the extract oil is a high concentrate, not meant for internally, oil does not mix with water, so it won't be truly diluted. So I would recommend for anyone who truly wants to reap the benefits of it internally purchase the actual gum resin, & purchase it from the country that it is native to, Like my country Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia, Yemen, and Oman. Also, the funny thing is my mom would also put orange peels, etc. on top of our the coal of our incense burner she had, I use to think nothing of it, now I know that is the natural ancient way people "used diffusers" , they burned the natural item itself. I hope this helps anyone trying to do it the trusted safe & ancient way. Now I see how wise my mom was/is, and that I am truly blessed to know what I know because of her, and the place I am from.

    Hello Dr. Josh Axe, it's a great channel. just want to share, about a month ago, my father-in-law's friend had a chronic diabetes and part of his foot was told to be amputated. He was then given this "Black Turmeric", a traditional herbs in West Java for this particular case. After three times drinking the juice of this black turmeric (in Bahasa Indonesia is Kunyit Hitam, in Sundanese is Koneng Hideung), his foot showed improvement and in a week time completely recovered. I've met this patient myself and he shared his story. Perhaps, Scientists could try to look into it, who knows there are people out there could also benefit from this black turmeric, especially those with diabetes. In my neighborhood the turmeric is easy to find with only about USD 4.00/kg. The juice of the turmeric is not yellow, it's more to light brown, very light brown with no yellow.

Being that there is so many options when it comes to essential oils I think you guys should do a video on what are the top brands to use both internal and ex ternal. For a beginner like myself I would like to see what other options that people are using.

    For sleep I love lavender, cedar n chamomile essential oil blend. I always have it made on stand by. I am not well so I’m really standoffish about my kids taking medicine. There 25,20, n 18 now but I still go with them to the Dr. and Dr.’s really get happy when ur a patient that doesn’t want medication. They love working with u as a team for ur own health care and my kids know nothing about herbs and oils so they say mom come with me to the dr. Lol but my dr loves that I try to help myself first and because I have congested heart failure I run everything I do by her. When I had a pulmonary embolism last year she said all the personal salves n essential oil combos for ur arthritis we need to go over cause I was on blood thinners now. So we removed what she felt I should which was just a couple things and I had to remake everything but I’m cautious. I’m in a lot of meds I have other health problems so I don’t just try something. I can’t. Ppl have to remember essential oil’s r phenomenal and so are herbs but u have to respect them before u use them. But I don’t know what I would have done especially for pain without these oils and herbs. I’m only 42 n I’m on a lot of meds anything I can do to cut down the chemicals I’m taking in is a blessing. U guys have a lot to do with that so thank u

      Julie Powell Yes. FDA approved YL's Vitality Line (which is exactly the same, but the FDA said each product could only be used for one purpose, so Vitality is internal/food consumption) for internal consumption. It does not use chemical processing. YL uses steam distillation and is organic so it is absolutely safe and FDA approved for internal consumption.

    FYI for anyone looking to take essential oils internally - DO NOT just put a drop or 2 in water and drink it. Essential oils are not soluble in water so the oil sits on the water and can damage soft tissues it comes into contact with and end up needing medical attention. If you want to consume EO internally, you either need to take it with oil to dilute it (like when you apply most oils topically) OR make it water soluble by mixing it with alcohol first. You take 5-15 drops of high proof alcohol like vodka or everclear then drop and mix in your 1-2 drops of essential oil, you can then put it in water and drink it.

My brother suffers from various personalities orders including my depression and bipolar. He lives out in happy normal life because of research and drugs from his companies. @@daytonasayswhat9333 I don't believe essential oils cure just everything, but prevention might be as important as healing... There are certain diseases that can be reversed only with surgery or advanced medicine... When I said the medical cartel & big pharma I meant endless treatments for diseases like diabetes (which can be prevented with a healthy diet and maybe essential oils). You end up paying for treatment during a lifetime, while it's probably more simple to prevent it... I'm glad your sister recovered btw... ☺️ I currently don't have any major disease but I will try essential oils for prevention & to solve some minor problems I have myself (like concentration or sleeping problems). Treatments like essential oils are not a hocus pocus thing tho, there is organic chemistry behind all these ingredients... Although I understand it's impossible they cure every single disease in the world.

    I have definitely come to the right place. This was an extremely helpful guide-as my SIL was recently diagnosed with cancer and I'm recently into using essential oils as not just aroma therapy but for medicine if I can help anybody. I have tossed out all my shampoo/conditioner and body wash bottles, I switched to a better plant based dish soap, all natural laundry soap-etc. I don't even use perfume or household wall plugins or candles anymore. I'll be definitely trying out the Frankensinse and Myrrh for her cancer treatment plan. One thing is you could buy one of those kind of cheap kid pools and do a Turmeric soak like that, then not worry about the staining.
