I felt anemic for years, the Dr's checked the hemoglobin saying that it's up, yet the symptoms were real 😢. Then my heart started racing every time I got up. I finally got a Dr who would listen, and she checked my Ferritin levels as well as my vitamin D levels, which turned out both were extremely low. Which I was told either deficiency would give me these symptoms 17 years of suffering when I needed iron and vitamin D.

Both my husband and I are deficient in vitamin D, we take vitamin d3 (10,000 iu's) daily. Mine has taken a year to increase 74 from 14. I had to learn on my own that vitamin d2 didn't help at all. And I take magnesium to help as well.
These doctors know what they are talking about, unlike modern medicine doctors nowadays.

There are several factors in reducing bad digestion quickly . One place I found which succeeds in merging these is the Marita bio pro (google it if you're interested) it's the most useful blueprint i've heard of. Check out all the extraordinary info .

    • @kingjames007

For every 5000 iu D3 you need 180 mcg of K2. Pharmacist, physicians, etc are not trained on supplements....they are trained on how to prescribe drugs so you can be dependent on it for the rest of your life.

If taking Vitamin D3 it is important to take Vitamin K2 to keep the D out of the blood and send it where it is helpful.

I was very sick, lethargic, and bloated for about a year, then I ordered some premade healthy meals from a local company, and I felt amazing. I wasn't sure what caused the difference until I saw the amount of protein in their food. I have been increasing my protein intake, and feeling much better, but here's my question, how much protein is too much. I'm glad to feel better, but I don't want to over do it either

My build is frail as a woman. I was following all standard health advice-mostly plant based-no processed foods and I'm convinced it almost killed me. My weight was so low. Hemoglobin of 7, declined mental function, no recovery after workouts or energy. Once I changed my diet, increase of iron/hemoglobin, I recover from my workouts and my mental outlook is so much better. I think frail people like myself suffer more from not having enough animal foods/proteins. Thank you both! Love this channel.

You are so right. I'm happy you recovered from failing health. When people are advised to follow a vegan diet it can be detrimental to one's health. Humans were intended to eat animal proteins and our bodies suffer without them. God bless you and stay healthy.

You must have been doing it wrong. Sorry you had that experience. Iron is not only in green leafy veggies. Peas like lentils and beans also have iron in it. Plus, you need vitamin C to absorb iron. Just cause you take it in does not mean your body is absorbing it properly. Especially if you have any gut issues. Ans working out does not give energy to someone who is iron deficient. That a silly idea. The only way to lose iron is through blood loss. So not taking in enough iron is not the problem, losing too much blood is. You could have resolved that by getting a one day treatment called an iron infusion. Also, iron bonds to dairy foods like milks, and results in malabsorbtion of iron. Most dont know this.

start following dr Izabella Wentz, if you suffer from hypothyroidism; the sooner you start following her, the better for your Health. For me it's been like day and night, since i started implementing tips from her book The Root causes of hashimoto's thyroiditis. She's researched and applied her tips on her self! She is healthy today.

    • @belmafilipovic3752
      @belmafilipovic3752 7 років тому +5

Right (me too btw), however the thing is that 97% of all thyroid patients in the West are actually having the autoimmune version of hypothyroism, called Hashimoto's diesease. Had i known that at the time i was diagnosed, ít would have saved me some pain. Read dr. Izabella Wentz's page if you want, it's something like thethyroidpharmacist dot com, i Think. She too was diagnosed with hypothyrpoism at first. The conventional medicine is not the answer for ppl with any autoimmune disease, rather functional medicine is. This was a sincere advice; and please forgive me if i crossed the line in any way.

I did a lab test few weeks ago, my vitamin b12 was at 180. I got b12 shots once a week from my doc, which made my ferritin drop from 88 to 30. I read somewhere that there is a connection, could you explain the dance between iron and vitamin b 12? There is not much information online about that. My period just wouldnt come, I was three weeks late, then it started and stayed for 2 weeks. And shortly after that the cycle started again.
I was on a plantbased diet for two years and I just recently started eating red meat and eggs again, which increased my energy level within a very short period of time. And what about coffee? Should we avoid it completely while building up ferritin? Or is a cup a day ok?

The kind in foods lol. Eat bananas and avacados, kale, greens, spinach etc. Food based is always the best source.

What is the use of eating plant foods when the soil is depleted of the nutrients that is necessary for my anemia defieciency? I eat spinach, kale, peas, lettuces that are truly green. I drink milk but only the free range cow kind. I also take vitamins D, B12, full spectrum enzymes for women from Dr. Mercola. And I still have problems with stress and recovery time. I am thinking about returning ti my exercise routine. Please provide me with a good Vit complex for my enemia problems. Thank you. My age is 76.

This is an informative video and I am a fan of Dr. Axe. I didn’t know this was a previous ‘live stream’ where Dr. Axe was using his phone to interact with viewers. So, it became funny watching his guest talk while Dr. Axe spends so much time looking at his phone. Throughout the video he keeps saying “Yea” and “Absolutely”. Those replies seem rushed and dismissive. Doc didn’t have time for this video! Ha-ha! All in good fun. (Once I noticed the constant random “YEAS”, I laughed each time). Thanks for the info and laughs.

Si Wu Tang as a Chinese herb is a good idea for anemia, as it is considered a "blood builder" in Chinese medicine. It's helped me. But ask a holistic practitioner first!!

Is it a health issue you're having? Iodine isn't mentioned in the video, but it's an important nutrient for many things and many people are deficient (women more than men). For years and years I had irregular periods, but if I'm taking iodine every day, I've experienced "to the day" regularity with my period, it's also lighter and shorter. You should be able to find more info online if you need to, one doctor who uses iodine with his patients is Dr. David Brownstein.

Thank you so much for this really wonderful information! 😁👍 And thanks for their encouragement especially at the end that I can look for the something good changing in me (that the bad news can be good news).😊 I've struggled to figure out how I can get healthier it while on a very low income...Any tips? I think there's a lot of lower income people that do probably feel discouraged because a lot of the things that would help us get better cost a lot more. But I can see that if I just try my very best and eliminate bad stuff that it could help at least.😉
