@@CascadeBackcountry I don't know, Canon has to make an image stabilizing binoculars for at least 20 years..... I was watching some Cliff gray videos a couple years old and he was talking about holding his binoculars and I might do you're a big game guy out of Colorado you should be the first guy to know about image stabilized and oculars my guess Leopold simply doesn't know they exist????
Great video! Also random question. I recently did a hike in a national forest that was somewhat popular. There was a lot of grouse. My question is I’m I allowed to go grouse hunting during the season even with the public hiking?
@BilboSandbaggins tough question! If it's a national forest where hunting is allowed then yes, hunting is allowed. There are rules in the hunter's guide that state things about shooting withing x about of feet of like a road or building or maintained road so it gets a little tricky. If it is way out in the woods, I guess it becomes an ethical question. Is it really safe to hunt there? Without being there myself, I can only leave the answer up to you. Good luck out there! 😁
@@CascadeBackcountrythank you for the fast reply! And yes that makes sense. I’m thinking later into fall there will hardly be anyone on the trail. Thank you again

Every minute you spend in the woods is a minute closer to your next success. Keep at 'er
@papajohnsy6659 this year is the year!! Thanks!
Hell ya!!
Well, unless you live in W state lol
😆🤣
Cant wait till this years season. Great video
@@pnwdeerhunter1729 you after blacktails?
@@CascadeBackcountryI’m after anything! This year I got selected for multi-season deer and elk. What do you mainly hunt for?
Glad to see you again!!!! Keep on getting it buddy!
I'll keep trying! Eventually I won't suck at deer hunting 😆
@@CascadeBackcountry best advice I've ever given anybody is follow the does. Where there are does the bucks will come.
Blacktail bucks are like ghosts! Good luck with that!😅
Spot & stalk on blacktails is tough in timber country like thst.
Thanks for the excellent video; keep sending them our way.
Thanks for watching! I'll try to keep em comin 😁
You’re definitely putting your time in.
Trying!! One day, probably with my car 😆, I'll get a damn deer!
When is Leopold going to make image stabilizing binoculars and have a built in rangefinder?
Surely they're working on it with the way those Sig Sauer are selling!

I was gonna mention just waiting till it's too cold for the regular backpacking crowd 😆
May I suggest one of the many forest service decommissioned logging roads. Lots of wild life because no one goes there.

Is this a 2023 hunt?
@eds508 yep. Last year. Only had one day to get it done. Really hoping to try my hand at blacktails again!
Was this a high buck hunt or regular season? Gonna try to hit it hard this year and get my first deer!
This was regular season in late October. It was a COLD and RAINY. Learned a lot though. Good luck this year!
Not a beehive.. ground nesting hornets I believe
I will try and be better next time 😆😂
@@CascadeBackcountry I guess I forgive you. I watched a coyote dig out and eat a hornet nest one time
