  • This is one of the easiest chicken curries that is packed with flavour and style. So delicious and comforting and perfect with a pile of rice or some naan, whatever you choose. Enjoy!

It goes down broken, so it doesn't matter if it's falling apart - that's what my mom says.

What kind of #cinnamon sticks do you use? I've heard there are two (maybe more?) kinds, one lighter & one darker and there's a difference, but I don't know what the difference is! 🤷‍♀️🙂 And... YUM! Chicken for supper it is! 😋

There is Cinnamon which is light in color, and tightly rolled, mild ,and sweet in flavor, then there is Cassia which is darker in color, loosely rolled, often just a curve, and it has a stronger taste. Most Indian supermarkets in the US sell Cassia, but what Chetna uses only she can tell you.

I just looked at the video again, and it looked as if she used Cinnamon, not Cassia.

Looks wonderful will add it to the list of your recipes to work through.
Personally I'm very sensitive to mace and nutmeg so for anyone not used to it please be careful. A single blade of mace cooked and then removed should be fine. If you accidentally eat a whole one you might get a 12 to 18 hour sleepless psychotic trip!

There's nothing wrong with overcooked chicken.
