- This video was made in response to a specific request from one of the channel subscribers asking 2X of my singing drumming take. Here is 4X instead. Same old can be found here: • Singing Drummer Clay J...
The fact that the majority of my cover songs have been created for the PET ADOPTION campaign and I had reduce my take to a much smaller frame to fit all the messages that needed to be there. That caused the smartphone viewers being unable to see my take which I apologise. I hope this video clears up any concerns on the authenticity of the singing drumming part.

The multimedia is done beautifully.
With the large screen of Clay, I can see his chops clearly, his precisions both in drums and vocals, this is no joke.
I followed this dude for awhile now, his work and art had impacted my life and how I perceive world around me since covid. I also love his lowkey personality and how he winked through himself in the music videos.
Absolutely angelic!
So magical how everything got interwined. Sight sound and vibe. Good work of art.
dude.. this is rare. musician myself for 38 years and first time seeing one can drum Neil Peart and sign Geddy Lee in the same time. you totally earned my respect.
4X closeup with no wrinkles saw, This is definitely real deal, I think even precise lip sing while you play would be very hard too despite this is all studio live.
Very nice gesture. I think you already did a good job on the 20 plus covers you made on YT. Some folks are just wondering if you are actually singing which I know you are cos I watch all of your covers on my IMAC and great set of speakers.
thanks, some of my older ones were little undertoned. Gold7 I got is not the best monitor speakers for rock. Will improve that...
@@clayjoule did you use monitor headphone?
With or without the extra effort on the 4X i think you aced. I am waiting for your new release.
Dude, you earned my respect. Keep on rocking man.
Truly splendid.
I am in awe watching you. I didnt find any ghost notes, no cut corners while vocal sounds good and punctual. With all my respect, youre a rare being.
Impressive. I always watch you, always inspiring me with awe. until the next video autoplays, then I wake up. Magical!
DUDE.... You deserve a medal for awesomeness.
Total amazed with artist with such keen skill, great video as well.
AMAZING TALENT
YOU ROCK CLAY!
You earned my respect.
Difference between Geddy Lee and Clay Joule's vocal is that Geddy is more Soprano. Clay is in between Baritone and Tenor. I am much comfortable with Clay's vocal on this song. Good take. 🙂
You're too kind. Thank you.
That requester presumably wanted to check your boca. Whoever that requested is got suspicious mind thinking such task isnt possoble. As far as I can see, everything is real and fantastic. This is a true rising star.
YOU ARE ONE SOLID DUDE!
Stunning dude
you got the move man... for a second I thought Neil is singing for Geddy, it's Clay. LOL
I bet you can fight 3 guys in the same time while singing a lullaby in perfect pitch and beat.
Maybe Joule is a ghost spirit, but I really dont care. Ive been a fan since his first track here.
Joule is a fantastic artist. But, I have a reasonable suspicion that Clay might not be around anymore, reasons are... most of this singing drumming videos seemed taken from an old camcorder. Second is, Joule never show himself on the new original songs. Another reason is that 20 some covers got uploaded within a year, I cannot think of anyone could ace 20 plus RUSH covers singing drumming n the same time in a year. Unless he knew these songs from the getgo. I really think if Joule isn't dead he could be very old already... someone else is helping him to revive all these old covers and tracks he recorded backin the 80s or 90s. Proof me wrong.
Are you saying this Clay Joule is long dead??!
That sounds crazy. The point of the suspicion is to proof if Clay is still alive?
This just doesn't add up. So if this was done back in the early 90's. then Clay must travel into the future and got a IPAD from the recent years and return back to the 90's and recorded this video with his camcorder.
You're definitely more inline with Karen Carpenter, Don Henley. Even Phil Collin didn't go so deep in terms of signing-drumming.
Whoever request that probably wanted to to see if you shave that morning.... lol I think cel phone is no good to watch any videos anyway. It damage your eyes.
I would guess that Clays take is not from the recent years. The video looks like an old cam and the mixer behind him is analog. Say maybe the 80 90s mixer.
Hmmm.. you got a point here. Worth digging.
Is this just a rumor or real? Clay is dea? his FB last logged in was 13 years ago. Dang, for real?
