A little about me and this channel:
My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ UA-cam. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of UA-cam I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. I know that success on UA-cam won't happen overnight but I'm willing to stay patient and put in the work to try to prefect my craft daily. This UA-cam channel will be centered around my life after college. You will be able to see all of the ups and downs on my journey to success. So if you like the content make sure you subscribe so you can be apart of the Rome Life Family. (Let's build our own personal Rome's together.)
What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artist

"A drummer uses a metronome. A metronome uses Neil Peart".

Hell yeah dude! Your comment nailed it well said

Best comment ever !

The Professor will school you every time. RIP Neil Peart.

All hail!!
Amen to that.

None better in my 59 years on earth.
GREATEST DRUMMER EVER! PERIOD. Rest well Neil, we miss you.
Neil Peart was the drummer God picked to show ALL other drummers how it is done. He was 'The Professor'. His drumming has been called superhuman. The world became a better place when he was in it.
live album ladies and gentlemen the professor on the drum kit
Neal Peart didn’t move the needle when it comes to drumming excellence, he was the needle.
Right. On. The. Mark.
wow, excellent comment
The saying was that most drummers paid attention to the metronome but that the metronome paid attention to Peart. RIP good sir, you were and are an inspiration.
Well said
Neil was referred to as "Your favorite drummer's favorite drummer". He also wrote the lyrics for Rush's songs too, which is overlooked by most.
R.I.P. Neil Peart.
"overlooked by most? Who is "most"? DO you know "most" Rush fans? Actually the Rush fans from the 70's or early 80's that grew up with them had LPs with lyrics and liner notes and we read every word on them. That was a big part of enjoying an album. Maybe your music comes stripped down from a digital source. Neil wrote most of the lyrics but not all - certainly nothing on their first album.
@@blacklight4460 Most people in general, not only Rush fans.
Chill out.
@@blacklight4460 In general though, most of the early Rush fans focus 95% on the music and less on the lyrics - as evidenced by them being very vocal about abandoning the guys throughout most of the 80's and dissing the synth era. If they were to listen to the lyrics equally, they would appreciate lines like "sometimes our big splashes, are just ripples in the pool" or "Spirits fly on dangerous missions
, imaginations on fire" just as much as Alex's solo in La Villa, or Geddy's vocals in 2112.
@@dilligaf6544 You got a problem dude? "Most people in general" have still never heard of them. Rush was panned by mainstream music critics for many years because they didn't "fit the mold". But you knew that, right? Why did it take so long to get Rush into the R&R Hall of Fame?
@Marc Poindexter Right on! Same here - I had heard them here and there but didn't really know who they were until the Trees hit the airwaves in '78. Went out an bought the Hemispheres album and the rest soon after.
Seeing him do this live 3 different times. And all of them were different. I have never heard 40k+ people get so silent just so they could enjoy every second of his brilliance.
Man, if you love this you should see Neil break a stick live and not miss a single beat.
He really was a gift to the world.
An interviewer asked Geddy Lee one time if they ever thought of getting a drum machine. His reply? We already have a drum machine. 🤣😂🥁
Never heard that. Geddy was 100% correct! 😃
I heard that interview. A drum machine would just get in the way and doesn't have a mind for instant flexibility especially when you have a drum machine playing already with a mind
Yes!! This guy's jaw is wide open. He's in awe. Great comment!
In another interview, Geddy said that Neil was the best all around musician that he knew. [Those are my words.]
They're all crazy versatile
NEVER question the professor.
"IS HE THE GOAT OF DRUMMING!?
*All Rush fans nod to themselves*
I was just nodding when he was asking that question, just as I saw your comment. ha ha ha haaaaa
Of course he is.
He’s awesome but John Bohnam is the best.
I miss him!!!!!!
Laughed when I saw your comment because that's exactly what I was doing. lol!
Every great percussionist will tell you there's no one better than Neil RIP😥
lmao "percussionist".
I forget where I heard this, but I quote it often. If a musician wants to keep perfect timing, they will follow a metronome. If a metronome wants to keep perfect timing, it follows Neil Peart. Seen him and Rush several times, and it's always been my favorite concert. RIP Professor 😪
Neil rode a motorcycle by himself, following the tour…. So he could enjoy the country and reflect. He wasn’t just the greatest drummer of our time…. He was a scholar…. An author…. Wrote just about all the Rush lyrics…. He was a deep thinker…. A special Human being. The world lost a really special one when he passed. RIP Neil
Nothing to add well said 👏
He was the hope for the peculiar guy trying (and in his case, succeeding) to make it in this world and find a way to fit in. As geniuses often appear, he always had that quirky, high-intellect demeanor. Could he really fit in? The bigger question asked was, Did he make an impact? For me, he did and still does. I still miss him as I loyally play my Rush tunes.
RIP Professor
I miss them
“I’m gonna have to critique this dude “ . Mouth hanging open for ten minutes 😂
Didn't even know what planet Prof. P left him stranded on 😆
Did anyone count how many bug's flew into this dudes GAPING PIE HOLE . I'm glad he saw this cool solo bcuz he will NEVER forget it.
I'd love to see the live drum solo from the "All The Worlds a Stage"
tour.
Come on, give the guy a break. He’s a self described “drum critic” who doesn’t know a thing about Neil Peart, of course his mouth is going to be hanging open.
You saw that too, huh? I was LMAO!! But his mouth was hanging open with good reason. First time I saw this solo, I did the exact. same. thing.
@@lajosmiklos8863 didnt even get name right lol.........peert not pert...my girlfriend went to HS with him in st catherines
Neil gives not only an audio masterpiece, but also a visual show. His solos always bring a tear to my eyes and a pause to my breath. He was the GOAT. Without him, my musical enjoyment has never been the same. R.I.P., GOAT!

Neil late in his career went to one of the all time drum masters and completely broke down his technique so as to incorporate the jazz chops of the great Buddy Rich. This type of dedication to his craft makes him the GOAT 🐐
"Is he the GOAT of drumming?"
Why yes.... yes he is. No one else comes close. I am privileged that I got to see him live 7 times. 7 best concerts ever.
Neal is one of my favorite drummers.. of which I have at least a dozen.. but.. the goat of all drummers has to be Buddy Rich. the man's been dead 35 years and he's still better than 90% of the drummers out there
@@deanbrandl1987 Well Neil Peart has been dead 2 years and he's better than 100% of the drummers out there.
Yes.....yes, he is!

Love Neil, saw him 6 times, but sorry, nobody IMHO can touch Keith Moon. Nobody.
When someone discovers Rush for the first time, a Canadian earns their wings. RIP Neil Peart, you were an amazing drummer.
🤣
I learned to love England because of Monty Python. I learned to love Canada because of Rush. And SCTV.
😆 Well said.
Absolutely without a doubt the world's greatest drama in my eyes and so many others I've seen him play 11 times I was so blessed that I got to see him live up front and close and every single time I went he more than amazed me he is beyond professor for a reason he didn't just set the bar he made the bar and jumped over it God bless him we know he's playing in heaven can't be that good and not go somewhere great you know that soul and that music lived on forever and ever amen

Greatest Rock &Roll drummer ever.
Yes. He is the GOAT of drumming. I’m so glad you had this reaction. You just witnessed perfection. Neil Peart RIP.
Will truly miss being able to watch him perform live. Watching Neil and Rush live was something else. I used to get tingles up my whole body from the first song until the end of the final encore.
While I don’t deny his greatness in any way, Danny Carey and the Rev deserve consideration

Let me get this right…this guy is a drummer and a self proclaimed “drum critic” and he never heard of Neil Peart. I don’t care if his preferred music style is R&B or country…if he was unaware of Neil Peart prior to this video…he needs to get out more.

hes a moron. if you like drumming you know neil pert
Yes!!!! Genuine!!!
I've heard this particular solo so many times that I can hum each beat as he does it, and I even know most of the movements and pauses that he makes. He was absolutely incredible, I'm only 15 but Rush has really helped me develop as a person when my parents didn't. RIP Neil, you're greatly missed.
12 minutes from the master. He is truly missed. RIP Neil.
Almost forgot: Don’t feel bad about not knowing who Neil Peart was. I’m sure most Rush fans will agree: Rush has been criminally under appreciated for YEARS. It’s a low down dirty shame that these 3 exceptionally talented musicians had been overlooked by Rock N Roll Hall of Fame for so many years, despite earning 50+ gold, platinum and double platinum records over the past 47 years. They were only inducted (after releasing their last studio album) in 2013, nearly 40 years after the release of their first album.
Peart and Lee get recognition all the time and are consistently ranked as one of the best at their crafts. It's Alex who is criminally underrated.
Sad but true
@@19DrumFreak89 I hear you, but among the folks with whom I frequently socialize, none can name a single member of Rush?! Personally, I easily consider Lifeson to be one of the best guitarists I’ve ever listened to. I have several copies of “Victor” (Lifeson’s solo project from 90’s) where he just cuts loose, something not often heard with Rush? I’d encourage all Rush fans to check out both Victor and Lee’s solo album called “My Favorite Headache” from 2000. These solo albums were recorded during those tragic years when Peart suffered the loss of both his wife and daughter within 6 months. That six year break led to the release of “Vapor Trails”, one of my all-time favorite Rush albums. Despite the release of the Vapor Trails Remix, I still prefer the noisy, clipped original release. “Ceiling Unlimited” is simply sublime.
@@ToeCutter0 yes great recommendations. I was so happy when Rush finally got induced into the Hall of Fame. And the audience was like Finally! When I was in high school Moving Pictures album came out and I was hooked on Rush! The three of them have so much talent it's unbelievable. Forever a Rush fan!
100% RUSH was among the all time greats. Neil Peart was and will always be One of the best in history
He would’ve never claimed to be the GOAT.
He was as great as he was humble.
RIP Mr. Peart.
Thats how you he was the GOAT!

When asked about fame he said "I don't want to be famous, I want to be good."
@@MrMissy1964 and a total jerk with the fans!!!
In an interview he once said on playing Tom Sawyer every night that he wasn't bored playing it night after night. Any night he played it right was a good night.
He is still after his death described by all drummers as a unique gifted and truly an artist. He is and will always be missed.
I love how the dude is just watching with his jaw dropped wide open for half the video.
Neil Peart said drumming for Rush was like running a marathon while doing math equations
not when you've played those songs for 40 years
@@PNW_Sportbike_Life He said that he would never get tired of playing Tom Sawyer because it was extremely difficult, and if he played it correctly, he said "it pleases me" to reproduce it exactly as recorded. He also said that they played their songs live without changing them with improvisations, because they were plenty difficult to play just the way they were recorded. There's a video someone made, where the audio is the actual song off the album, and the video portion is of Neal Peart playing it in concert, and they match up exactly. I think the song was YYZ, but not sure.
He did it in a 3 hours show after a day of riding with is motorcycle for hours !
@@stephanechamberland8486 With an hour warming up in the back of the stage before the show. He was a perfectionist.
Every time I would ride I would keep an eye out for Neil Peart, hoping to hit him up about motorcycle travels while pretending not to know he's famous. He didn't like people fawning all over him and found that embarrassing, but liked to talk about motorcycle touring.
@@jaycoy107 that's the whole thing behind Limelight. "I can't pretend the stranger is a long awaited friend." Peart wrote that track as a veiled explanation of his own discomfort regarding his fame
I love how this dude doesn’t pause it every 10 seconds to say something. It totally kills the flow and the vibe when people do that.
I think he was too shocked to click his mouse.
No doubt. Shut up and listen!
I've heard a UA-camr can have copyright problems if they don't pause it at least once.
If you are interested in watching this solo without pause, you may do so elsewhere. This video consists a reaction to that drum solo. It is stated very clearly in the title.
You do not interrupt when you meet your god for the first time.
Watching the professor NEVER gets old! I have seen RUSH in concert many times. Loved them each and every time. The world lost an immense talent when Neil Peart passed. Amazing human altogether!
Just saw your reaction video to Neil for the 1st time. YES HE IS WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE THE GOAT!!!!!! HE. WILL BE MISSED!!!

Neil Peart: “Hold my beer.”
More like " hold my Macallan, please don't spill it". 😁🥃🥁
Neil did not like beer.

He was more of a aged scotch drinker.
He set the standard for all other percussionist..he even achieved skill beyond just drummer to musician

and as soon as he sees the drum kit, whoa whoa whoa, lol
I can't say if he was the best of all time but he definitely holds a spit in the top 10 of all time it's up to the listener to rank them
Yeah that was so ridiculous.
I saw some Buddy Rich videos on here... that guy did more with a 5 piece than anyone else. He was incredibly fast. Watch one you can tell he influenced a million drummers and very possibly Neil Peart.
@@metalmike570 Buddy Rich was a major influence

Yeah, man. You got that ON TOP of a 3 hour, 2 set show. Your reaction was priceless.
You just witnessed a Master Class in percussion. There's a reason that after Buddy Rich died, jazz musicians wanted to play a memorial concert and asked Neil Peart to play the drums. RIP Neil (the Professor) Peart.

Neil Peart was the primary lyricist for Rush. He was an avid motorcyclist. His bus pulled a trailer for his bike. He often rode between gigs, and would only sleep in his bus at night. Very humble and mild spoken man.
And it's a shame that he lost 2 that he loved dearly, and then his untimely death. Truly missed!
Truth.
Songwriter and lyricist
And he wrote lyrics, essays and about a dozen books . He rode between gigs too-even in Africa in the rain with tendonitis.
I liked how he would hang out and read books and chill by himself then.. yawn grab his sticks.. amaze the world.. go back stage and pick up his book again till the limo took him to the hotel.. always thought that was kinda neat.

They didn't call him the professor for his drumming skills they called him that because of his intelligence .very well read and articulate a geniuos
Geddy and Alex gave him the nickname “The Professor” due to his love of reading while on tour. His nose was constantly stuck in a book. He was quite content to sit on the tour bus and read while the other guys met with fans, his lyrics in Limelight allude to that, “I can’t pretend a stranger is a long awaited friend”.
For his drumming skills he was called, “The Master”. He grew up in the city I live in and I go to Lakeside Park a lot, it reminds me of their music and Neil’s impact.

I was gonna suggest to this reviewer to read Peart's lyrics. KISS (sucks) toured with Rush long ago. I watched some of "The Decline of Western Civilization Part ?" where Gene Simmons made fun of Rush members because they were reading rather than getting laid and partying. obviously Rush is more technical as musicians than KISS (sucks). guys have followed them around the world for decades. with the same fans in the front rows they watched each other getting older like receding hair lines and some fans gained weight lol. seeing Rush 100 times is not out of the question.

At least he didn’t have to live through 2020. I’m being serious. 2020 was so bad. 🙄🙄Losing Neil was one of the musician industry’s biggest losses, imo. Even though it may not seem like it, Neil was a pivotal part of the music business.
And he wrote most of the lyrics.
Truth
@@jacobolson6885 Well, my 2020 started off with Peart dying, and I thought "well this sucks, at least things cant get worse", then we had a volcano fucking explode 20km away a week later....so naturally everyone bought all the N95 masks to protect their lungs... good job we won't be needing those masks a couple of weeks later... OH WAIT HERE'S COVID.
We have been locked down ever since. this country has longest lockdown in the world, officially.
He is known as The Professor for a reason. RIP Neil Pert. Canada and the world miss you
Uh that's Peart. Pronounced P-ear-t.
When the kit rotates AND he canges position... he puts on a real show. Seeing the intensity in his face... the Profesdor.
SIr, there never was and never will be another Neil Peart. He absolutely is The G.O.A.T
The expression on your face is priceless! There has never been a drummer like Neil Peart (pronounced Peert). He was not in a league of his own - he was in a UNIVERSE of his own!
Watching video reactions like his, and the expression on his face, makes me feel like I'm watching it for the first time. I agree, it is awesome to see folks like this gent just asked by what Neal Peart could do.
The expression on his face is an act. "Look at me being amazed"! Really? Pretty sad when people can't judge for themselves. Again, what talent do you claim to have? Oh, right, Copy videos, and take credit for other peoples hard work.
I've seen this many times and still make that face 😄🔥
I still get goosebumps when I hear one of Peart's drum solos.
And sometimes tears.
@@leswliewkelso you're easily amused
Neal is the GOAT of drumming of our generation, and it took him like three or four decades to get to that point, but he was *always* learning (not just practicing). He just had a love and passion for it that cannot be learned
Neil was the best I've seen him 15 times he wrote most of the lyrics he is the goat rest in peace my friend we love you
He was the GOAT. He was pretty much inhuman. His feet and hands would be playing with two different time signatures at the same time. It was incredible.
I do find it funny when reactors especially musicians are like "I'm going to critique this band Rush I've never heard of!" lol no you aren't
Yeah, more like my jaw is about to drop in pure awe and amazement.
Facts
Right? Like when he said "if I don't like it I'm gonna be honest," I laughed out loud and said "biiiiiitch pleeeeeeease"
You're not gonna 'critique' anything, Sparky. You're gonna listen in gobsmacked awe just like the rest of us. You should probably learn to accept that before you disappoint yourself. 😁😆
Too true. Just go back to bed. Ruuuuush?? Who?? Get ta fuck.
I sat there with my mouth open the first time I seen this too, absolutely incredible
Peart, Copeland and Bonham. The best of all time. Different styles, different setups.
The greatest drummer the world has ever seen, he saw buddy, he saw bonham, he saw baker and he said, “yeah let me play that but in 7/8” the absolute god of the drumming world, RIP the professor, one of the most gifted musicians to ever pick up the sticks
One of the most gifted musicians of any type to ever pick up an instrument.
Bonham and peart are 1 and 1a though you cant really use one as an example as to why one is better than the other
I absolutely agree with this every word! Neil Pert was the greatest this earth has ever known!!
@@tripletcobbable I don't know, I sat two feet from Tony William's stool in a jazz club in Chicago. Never saw anything like his playing before or since.
@@Gregor9043 I’ve never heard of tony Williams. But I’ll look him up. Thanks for the recommendation.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the Professor on the drum kit." - Geddy Lee [All the World's a Stage]
The solo on All the world's a stage is awesome
One of the best live albums EVER! (And I am including "The Song Remains The Same"!)
Love Geddys voice when he was young. And it didn't get worse when he got older, maybe even better? Great fucking singer either way
@@philgallagher1 No doubt man!
Will never be anyone better than the Dean of Percussion. 😊
Neil has inspired more new drummers than anyone I ever heard of and I’m 62. And Ive been listening to him since I was 16. No one is better than him because he writs lyrics , melodies and xylophone as well as any percussion instrument
The look on your face says it all...and YES, The Professor is the greatest that there is, was or ever will be......🙏
He was the only music artist that I actually teared up when he died
Yessir! Couldn't believe it at first. News broke on the 10th. which is my anniversary. Sad day.
Yup, me too, I'd just finished a gig when I was told, I was coming out from behind my kit where I'd probably ripped off (badly) at least a few of his chops during the set.
I was floored, it affected me for days.
Me too. Still tear up from time to time about it.
He and SRV for me.
Him and Eddie Van Halen. 2 of the greatest ever at their craft
My heart broke the day he died. To know I will never be at a Rush concert ever again for the rest of my life is a feeling I can't describe. How lucky was I to grow up with this. This first album I ever bought when I was a little kid was Moving Pictures. YYZ is still my favorite song. R.I.P. Professor.
Moving Pictures was my first album too!
I missed one of their concerts when I was about 15 and I've kicked myself in the ass, over that ever since. And it was a real heart breaker when, I found out he passed away. I'm a young guy compared to most rush fans, but they are in my top 5 favorite bands of all time still.
It broke my heart too. I didn't even know he was ill. I don't think anyone did. Brain cancer is one hell of a nasty way to go. He didn't deserve it. And at my grand old age of 22, I am beyond upset I never got to see Rush/Neil live in person. They've been added to the ever growing list of bands I'll never experience.
Rock In Peace Neil Peart 🤘🥁
With you there friend, albeit i was there a bit earlier than thee. Lucky to have seen RUSH 7 times since 1981, watched Neils solos grow, they were the soundtrack to my life.
My first album purchase too. Moving Pictures on eight track. Jammed that till the tape broke.
Yes, he's the GOAT of drumming.
"Is he the G.O.A.T. of drumming?"
Yes.
Nah Lars ulrich better🤣🤣🤣
IM JOKING 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Duh
No question, but Omar Hakim come a very close second
I think he said "goal", not goat, but that's cool too.
I love it that you go from "If I don't like it, I'm gonna critique it" to 9:50, mouth wide open in amazement, which is how you spent most of the solo. Please allow every Rush fan on earth to introduce you to The Professor.
still blown away that anyone can call themselves a drum critic and not be aware of the existence of Neil Peart.
You got that right.
@@Welcome2TheInternet Understood. But also understand there are many MANY great musicians that get overlooked because someone may not be introduced to that genre...
YES!!!!
@@Welcome2TheInternet that's what I'm saying. He reviewed Danny Carey too. Wtf.. you got no business bro🤣🤣
I'm smiling to the moon, seeing your expression..... yep, he was that good.... RIP
Favorite drummer of all time. RIP Professor.
"Is he the greatest of all time when it comes to drumming?"
Yes. Yes he is.
No
@@robertchambers369 yes. Not even a debate, kid
@@PlyrMava. well no one is the best ever really, is he the best rock drummer ever? Easily the best or the second best. But the best drummer ever would be able to Accel in most genres and as much as I love him and as good as he as at rock drumming he's just not that
NO!!!
IT MEANS MEANS, CLOSED MINDED AND IGNORANT.
THAT neil peart guy TREATED THE FANS AS DIRT. NEVER WANTED AND NEVER TOOK THE TIME FOR THEM. I HAD THAT EXPERIENCE. THAT BACKUP MY COMMENTS.
Let me give you a couple of names,
DAVE WECKL
Considered TOP DRUMMER IN JAZZ, FUSION.
He has an amazing sensibility, when he plays hard and aggressive he can make jump out of your seat.
HE IS INCREDIBLE NICE WITH THE FANS. I'VE SEEN HIM TWICE.
HERE IS A LITTLE STORY, HE WAS ON TOUR AND ABOUT 2 MONTHS BEFORE I EMAILED HIM ASKING IF I BRING A DRUMHEAD HE COULD SIGN IT FOR MY DAD. DIDN'T ANSWER. CONCERT DAY HE DECIDED TO DO A DRUM CLEANIC. I STARTED TO APPROACHED HIM AND I ASKED HIM IF HE COULD SIGNED AND HE DIDN'T LET ME FINISH AND TOLD ME, "YOU ARE THE GUY WHO WANTS ME TO SIGN AND DRUMHEAD FOR YOU DAD. AFTER THE CONCERT I WILL SIGN IT AND TALKED TO YOU" CONCERT ENDED CAME OUT THE STAGE GRAB A BEER, AND HE ASKED ME,
"SO THE DRUMHEAD IS FOR YOUR DAD?" I SAID, YES!!! HE IS THE ONE THAT INTRODUCE ME IN YOUR MUSIC" AFTER THAT I ASKED HIM IF I COULD HAVE A PICTURE TAKEN WITH ME AND HE WAS SO COOL. NEXT TIME IF SEE YOU I HOPE YOU CAN SIGN IT AND A DRUMHEAD FOR ME" HE TOLD ME, "ABSOLUTELY"
ANOTHER TOUR CAME UP AND HE PLAY IN MY CITY. I GOT TO THE VENUE EARLIER AND HE SAW ME AND CAME TO ME AND TOLD ME IN A VERY COOL WAY "HOW ARE YOU DOING!!? AND HE TOLD ME AFTER THE CONCERT I'LL SEAT AND TALK TO YOU, BUT NOW LET ME TAKE YOU INSIDE THE VENUE AND WATCH THE SOUND CHECK" CONCERT ENDED AND CAME TO ME AND ASKED ME "DID YOUR DAD LIKE THE DRUMHEAD? FROM MY LITTLE BAG I PULLED A PICTURE OF MY DAD WITH THE DRUMHEAD IN ONE HAND A LITTLE SHEET OF PAPER SAYING "THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL AUTOBIOGRAPH!! HE WAS STUNT.... THEN HE SAID, DO YOU HAVE THE PICTURE OF US?
I PULLED IT OUT SIGNED IT AND TOLD ME "WHATEVER YOU HAVE I'LL SIGN THEM" AT THAT POINT HE HAD PROBABLY ABOUT 7 ALBUMS"
You will never going to read or hear from a fan a nice story about that guy. NEVER!!!!!
This is
This one is AKIRA JIMBO. Japanese. Band CASIOPEA. HE HAS THE MOST INCREDIBLE INDEPENDENCE THAT NOBODY HAVE BEING ABLE TO DO WHAT HE DOES.
No. Danny Carey.
Niel was definitely the greatest. He lived a moment of great depression himself after the loss of his wife and daughter at the same time and had to get away from the band for a while but eventually got back into playing and still killed it. May he RIP and fly high with his wife and daughter.
Bonham is the greatest rock drummer all time
@coldfarted what's funny except your lack of knowledge of the subject
@@RobertMJohnson as a drummer of over 35 years and a huge Bonham/Zeppelin fan and student, I have to disagree with you. I did once hold that view though. Bonham was at one time the greatest rock drummer and in some ways still is but only in his style. Bonham didn't have the technical expertise or ability of some of today's best rock drummers. What Bonham did have that most don't is a particular style of feel. Thats what hooks people into his playing and so few can duplicate. The title greatest of all time is too subjective to be put on any one drummer. They're all the greatest in their own ways. I'm sure Neil included Bonham as an influence. And if Bonham had lived long enough he would have considered Neil an influence too.
He rode 50,000km on his motorcycle. Amazing. I hope it helped him at that time.
Not only Killed it.. .went back to school and developed entirely new skill sets and techniques. To have the resolve and strength to move from the nadir of ones life to then start over almost literals, and then reach his own personal skill and performance zenith once again is truly remarkable, and noteworthy on a purely personal level.
Awesome Video!!! And yes Neil, the best there was, the best there is, and Most Certainly, the Best There Ever Will Be!!!! R.I.P. G.O.A.T.
