But you should have seen not this version, but the PULSE version, it’s THE MOST EPIC VERSION EVER!! From the one considered one of the best concerts by any band, an historic tour from Pink Floyd!! ‘Cause yes, here the music is amazing, BUT at that other version, it’s not only the music, but the amazing lighting show and pyrotechnics, it brings it to another level!
Thank you girls that was another great choice, I've been a Pink Floyd fan for 35 years and I've never seen this clip,... like you I was blown away. Good to see the early stuff with Roger Waters. I did see them live in 1988 when they came to Australia, probably the best or if not the best live concert I've ever seen. The only concert I've been too that had an intermission, (there was a pause in the show) every body went outside and topped up on some funny cigarettes went back inside and they played for like another hour! I think the whole concert went for about 2 or 3 hours, it was epic, you really got your moneys worth. Totally insane band! No one plays music like this anymore and probably never will? I am regretting the day when I hear the end of Pink Floyd.
This from around 1980. A more spectacular version of their live show is there 1994 PULSE concert. The main guy singing with headphones was no longer in the band for the ‘94 show. Clarification: the 1980 show was spectacular but for this particular song, the ‘94 performance was more visually amazing.
The closer you get to the recording of the song, the better. Come on. Roger Waters wasn't even in the band anymore(?!) Waters is great in this. How can you say '94 was better than this? I have the Pulse CD. Never played it more than three or four times. I'll check the '94 version to be sure. I'll come back here, if I'm wrong.
@@debjorgo you need to read again what I was referring to in regards to the ‘94 version of Run Like Hell. I was very specific what I was talking about.
@@Esl1999 No, I understood what you were saying. But, without saying but hopefully implied - IMO, I'm saying a visual, from 14 years later, cannot outweigh the four original guys on stage doing an absolutely savage version of the song that was still new at the time. You, yourself, are conceding that the music wasn't better. (And I never intend to sound as snotty as I sometimes do. Please pay no attention to that. Just having a conversation.)
@@debjorgo actually, I think the Pulse version is sonically good but the 2 young ladies are not familiar with the band members and are not gonna be dazzled by seeing Waters over a an epic light show and ending. For longtime fans, obviously seeing Waters up there is great but for them, PULSE would be more exciting.
It's a pleasure getting to see you discover so much beautiful art. Thank you. Run Like hell is one song as a part of a rock opera called The Wall. The meanings of each song are better-understood in that larger context. At some point you may want to try to each song, in order.
Hello ladies. Great reaction. Would like to see you react to the band YES. My favorite band for many years. Maybe start with the song Roundabout. You will like them a lot and will want to react to many more songs by them. Enjoy!
Another great reaction from the dynamic duo! Thank you for taking the time to enjoy this Pink Floyd rocker from The Wall. Please consider adding "Old Man" by Neil Young from 1971 to your list of songs to get to, as well as "Lucretia MacEvil" by Blood Sweat and Tears! Keep up the great work on your channel!
I've never seen that video before, very cool. That is some rare concert footage. Too bad the video isn't as sharp as the audio, but not unexpected. I like the no frills production. Looks like they hired two extra musicians to join the band, a bassist and a guitarist to help fill out the sound. I'm trying to recall if Pink Floyd did the same thing when I saw them in 1977, but memory fades. All I recall was that it was a masterful show. Thanks for digging this one up.
The 1980 tour of The Wall was only performed in a few cities. The extra four band members were "the surrogate band"mentioned in the first song In the Flesh.
This is from the psychedelic era- and a proud representative it is! Pulse is more lyrical- more suited to the "entertain- me- now generation. Six of one, seven of the other. Greetings from Canada- peace and be safe.
SOEN is a progressive metal band from Sweden and they remind me of Pink Floyd very much. You should give them a listen and even better a reaction 🙏🏼 “EMDR - SOEN.”
lol cute as hell . i see you both playing air guitar , but do you realise your playing with the bass line ? lol . sry i play guitar , so i notice these things . lol love yuz .
I have not heard this particular version before. It has slightly feel to it that made it really good. I truly enjoyed it.
The Best Version. Circa 1980...... Just Before the crash. Roger Water's look, style, voice is so awesome it's undeniable.....
The best version ever of Run like hell !!! Great reaction
Thanks
I think that this version is in the Guinness book of records for the most lights used in a live track
You need to see the Pulse concert version.
I think that the live version from 1994 is in the Guinness book of records , visually stunning and will blow you ladies away. Great reaction ladies
I was 24 when I saw them In Tampa,FL. Amazing show, lights, lasers. 3rd row front and center was wild!!! Best ever!!!

I saw Pink Flod in the 70s, 1988, and the 1994 Pulse concert. They were awesome every time.

Pink Floyd is one of my all time favorites! Thanks for doing this reaction, ladies. Cheers from the USA! :)
Our pleasure!
It's been a while since I heard Waters on this one...
"Ciao" from Rome 👍
Greatest smiles ever, and joy of music🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Another Brick in the Wall from this concert is superb. It was a no1 chart hit for PF in the UK back in 1979. The Pulse 1994 version is stunning too.
We have reacted to it already
Namaste ladies. Great choice and reaction ! Nothing better than Pink Floyd ! ✌️from Boston USA
Great song, great reaction. Thank you both!

This is the better live version….I don’t know why the other channels choose the Pulse version
That's what I think. I absolutely love it the most, when it's the original 4 guys together.

Check out the Pulse Concert live version of Run Like Hell.
You really need to view the version from the PULSE concert at Earls Court London in 1994,
MUCH BETTER, 👍🇬🇧🇳🇵
The Pulse concert version of this song is definitely the best.
SOEN is a progressive metal band from Sweden and they remind me of Pink Floyd very much. You should give them a listen and even better a reaction 🙏🏼 “EMDR - SOEN.”
