Yammie I have suggestion for your team.
Because youtube is reducing their videos bitrate, removing 720p as HD, but on the positive side you can upload h.265 (hevc) codec to youtube now.
      Here's what I thought.
      1. Edit your videos in 1440p even tho your original video is 1080p (I bet your 1080p original videos looks so much better than youtube 1080p) or upscale in simple terms
      2. Export your videos in 1440p using h.265 codec (which is 2 more efficient than h.264, which means half file size for the same quality), and maybe use 15~20 mbps bitrate, it's more than enough for youtube (or go higher bitrate if you still want better looking files that you can reuse).
      3. Made turbo grom build

@@Chestwolf What are you even on about dude? I didn't say anything about riders relating to eachother at all. What I was saying is that this guy is reviewing a beginner motorcycle as if it's a motorcycle for experienced riders. He actually keeps mentioning it himself as well. He's turning all the strong points into bad things as if the bike is not meant for beginners. The MT03 is an excellent bike for beginners because it's aimed at beginners. That's why it has a long throttle radius, small size engine, no strong brakes needed, etc. The video is useless as he's just pointing out all strong points of the bike as a beginner bike and acting like they're bad points as if it's not a beginner bike. Only thing I'd personally add to the MT03 for beginners would be a slipper clutch.

It's a great bike. I bought a beautiful blue Mt03 in Australia last year. The bike is awesome. Seat height is great. Engine is great. DO you need to go over 100 miles an hour? I'd just lose my licence. Find a better, cheaper, user friendly, town bike, road bike, weekend twisty tourer and i'd buy it... But it isn't out there. Yes the brakes are average. yep i'm an old, short , boring (but experienced rider).. Buy one of these and ride the heck out of it ! take care. :)

I'm 5'6 and sat on one yesterday. It fit me like a glove. I'm 5'6, 135lbs and I have shorter legs... I can flatfoot one foot or have both down in a comfortable heel up position (which is more comfortable anyway... imo)
      But remember, height isn't everything.
Leg length, hip width, foot size, and even flexibility play a big part in what bikes you fit on. If you can, just go sit on some. For instance the Honda Monkey seems tiny, and I fit the grom fine with flat feet.. the Monkey was awkward and I couldn't get my feet down because of the awkward wide seat and weird seating position with the low bars. On paper I should fit that bike easy.. in reality... nope.
Good luck, I hope you find a ride and when you do... ride safe!
P.S. Even if you don't want to buy new.. just go sit on some bikes so you know what they might feel like if you shop used. Just make it clear you're just there to sit on a few things and look. They will still probably follow you around, but mostly to make sure you don't drop a bike. Just try to be brave and push through it. Everyone hates salespeople lol it's fine. Good luck.

    • @DanteYewToob
      @DanteYewToob 3 роки тому +3

@@babyvanta It's not about vanity for everyone. Personally I hate the cruiser seating position. It makes me uncomfortable and I don't feel confident like that. I own a cruiser I got from my sister and that bike pushes my thigh out awkwardly and then I have to twist my leg and foot back inwards to actuate the shifter. It's just an ergonomic nightmare.
Had I learned on that bike as planned, I wouldn't have gained confidence and comfort in even half the time. I bought the bike I was most physically comfortable on and I learned very quickly and was able to translate to other bikes easily.
So don't be so aggressive.. not everyone likes cruisers and that's fine. There are plenty of other options out there.

For beginner bikes (If you want something fast), I recommend comparing the 0-60 times of a motorcycle of your choice to a Toyota Camry TRD if you're looking for a decently fast bike that won't kill you. A Toyota Camry TRD is a sleeper that can do 0-60 in 5.7, which is very fast for sedans, on the borderline of sportscar territory (WRX = 0-60 in 5.5).

I only agree with you when it comes with the brakes. I call them spongy, especially the back break. I have the 2019 version of it, and yes I updated the blinkers and the tail. The one bad thing that you did not mention and I found a bit of a nuisance is that there is no after market adjustable front brake lever (at least according to the dealer where I get mine serviced)... Clearly I am a shorty at 5’ 4’’ and while for that size of body I have large hands... I really wish that there was an adjustable lever for the front brake. If I want something that will go faster, I will get out something with a few more CCs. I ride mostly in Switzerland, and this is a country where the police is totally unforgiving about speed limits. Even on the MT-03 it is incredible how often my TomTom chimes to tell me that I am exceeding the speed limit (perhaps one of the best reasons to have a TomTom in Switzerland).

I bought a brand new 2021 MT-03 as my first bike and I agree with a few of his points. Yes, the brakes are garbage. Yes, it’s a bit slow even for a beginner (granted the engine isn’t broken in and feels stiff). Yes, the throttle throw is obnoxiously long, even for a beginner. Are they “bad”? No. Is there room for improvement? Definitely yes.
I will say the seat height for a 5’ 11” rider with 32” inseam (me) feels just fine. I don’t feel cramped and it’s nice to feel relaxed at a stop light. I have no real legitimate complaints about the bike. It’s suuuuppppper easy to ride and is very confidence inspiring. I would 100000% recommend this bike to a new rider or someone who wants a light, maneuverable city bike regardless of experience.
Long story short, I have zero buyers remorse with this bike. It’s done exactly as advertised.

The MT-03 is more aimed at UK, Euroland A2 licence restrictions. i.e. less than 47 BHP.
If I was after an A2 bike in the UK, I'd rather have a Honda CB500F, which with it's 471cc engine has a fair bit more torque, if I was a reasonably well off A2 licence holder, well there's always Yammie's favourite the Triumph Street Triple A2 660cc 47 BHP variant ( better than a CB500F ) that once the rider gets their full A licence can be derestricted to 94 BHP.
If I was a beginner rider in the US where you don't have the tiered licences, I'd rather have an SV650.
In the UK and Euroland SV650s can be restricted to 47 BHP for A2 licence holders, and they're very good value for what you get.
I'd recommend cash strapped UK, Euroland A2 licence holder to get a restricted SV650. There's also so many SV650s about, they're pretty easy to pick up second hand in the UK.
As you like to say in the US, there's no replacement for displacement, so the 321 cc Yamaha engine is always going to be a lot more rev-ing and gear changes as compared to CB500F, SV650 or Triumph Street Triple A2 660cc (amongst others).
I guess some people like having to rev the nuts of an engine, I had enough of that when I was on a 125cc, it's hard work . No torque, and all that gear changing !
Looks are subjective, I'm really not keen on the MT-03 headlight and transformer looks. Again, I guess some people like this ... (the CB500F , Street Triple and SV650 all look a lot better to me)
Comparing the MT-03 with the CB500F, when I last checked , the CB500F had a fair bit better fuel consumption and also a larger tank. So the range on the CB500F was quite a bit better.
(Street Triples do drink more gas/petrol, but that triple engine, you'll forgive it for it's thirsty habit)
I'll admit that the price and weight of the MT-03 is attractive, but sorry MT-03 lovers, it's just not my cup of tea !

@@Devans1227 Possibly stating the obvious. Manual cars or bikes, it's all about finding the "bite" point of the clutch. The clutch is not a digital switch. So at first you really need to be a bit slow and smooth on releasing the clutch.

I like that you considered other perspectives than your own personal opinion, each "hated" thing was nicely presented with some reasonable justifications for why you dislike that thing, and the open-ended conclusion sentence didn't feel overly harsh, considering in the series you basically roast the bikes (e.g. size, it sucks for you and I to ride, but like you said it could be ideal for smaller riders and it might not be a complaint everyone has).
