This is the most 90s track ever
Bahaha 😂😂😂😂😂i was telling the same to myself but still love the old school sound 😍
As an Aussie, this song was HUGE when it broke and Savage Garden were everywhere for the next few years. I still love this song today and feel super nostalgic when I hear it :)
Rosie O’Donnell broke savage garden in American. She loved this song and played it everyday on here show for a month when it first came out. Band and Record company were so grateful they gave her a record company “gold record” award presented by the band.
Your next challenge is to learn and deliver the lyrics as fast as he does.
Haha god it takes a lot of practice
😅😅😅
I'm seriously in practice.
I accept 😁
I do this song on karaoke nights lol you really need to learn breath control
This song was HUGE! Lots of people thought this was a new Roxette song 😂 they did have kind of similar sounds. Tears of pearls my other fave from this album 👌❤️
That's exactly what I was going to say! Even listening now it still sounds more like a Roxette song.
I also love Break Me Shake Me and Violet!
One of my faves, I think “Crash and Burn” or even “Affirmation” would really strike an impression with you.
Fun fact he got the line chica Cherry cola while drinking a Dr Pepper he didn’t know it was Dr Pepper and thought it was a cherry flavored coke he actually said it in a interview recently
Dr Pepper is cherry flavored
HUGE hit in Brazil!
First US appearance was on the Rosie O'Donnell show performing this song, they became an instant hit. Savage Garden is in reference to Anne Rice's Interview of the Vampire, she calls the world a Savage Garden. You should check out the song "You can still be free" from the second album, his falsetto control is incredible! Also an upbeat song is "Animal Song" and throw back would be "1980 Me".
I love this song. Well I love Savage Garden in general! I thought they were very underrated back when they were considered "popular". I wish they were making new music. If you actually pay attention to their lyrics will see they are brilliant writers. I write poetry and song lyrics so I am one of those people who really pays attention to the words. And of course the melodies of their songs, and instruments......just amazing!
Hurray you're reacting to my fave song finally. They werent famous for just 'Truly,Madly,Deeply' 😂😂💜
Had the biggest crush on him when I was a teenager 😂
Yeah I agree, n "I knew I love" too
Man, this takes me back to high school 🥰
I'm so glad Darren came out.
That whole talk about dreams struck me. I recently have had dreams like that about someone. Right in the feels.
Love savage garden wish they brought out more music
I always like to say that the dream ( with all the meanings this word implies ) is real for the dreamer, at least while is happening and some are so intense and so full of strong emotions that, just like you told, makes us want to return to the dream state in a blink of an eye ( like if were possible ) because it's unbelievable or even painful to think it wasn't real...
Affirmation is one of my favorite songs of theirs. I love all of Savage Garden's stuff though.
It sounds like Roxette "The look" :P
Best of the 90’s THANKS inso miss that decade of my youth!
If you like Roxette, you like Savage Garden. "I Want You" and "The Center Of The Heart Is A Suburb To The Brain" are like siblings.
experience a lifetime of emotion in a dream........I like that , so real for that moment
tears of Pearls by Savage Garden is great
You did ANOTHER one of my favs while I'm away!!! This is a great choice. Def shows off their diversity and talents
I remember an interview where Darren Hayes said they decided to release “To The Moon and Back” instead of the idea they had for their next single, after “I Want You” had so many comparing reviews to Roxette’s “The Look”. Then A few years later Per decided to be “funny” and wrote “The Centre Of The Heart”, which is very close to both “I Want You” by SG and “The Look” by Roxette.
Please react to crash and burn by savage garden
I loved your reaction, Such an amazing song! but can we talk about your dreams?!! 🤣 Am I the only one wondering about the deepness and how amazing they sound?! I instantly remembered when people who are very sensitive describe their experiences when sleeping and going to a different dimension, so fascinating!
it has some roots (to say the least) in The Look by Roxette. Great track anyway, had some beers and fun on it back in the day
I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!
Great song and album!💕
My God,Ilove Darren❤️🇧🇷❤️🇧🇷
Oh i looove this song!
I went to New Orleans for a music festival and I saw Darren Hayes at a bar on Bourbon Street. Couldn't get near him, and I tried. He had people to keep us riff-raffs away.
Love Savage Garden since beginning i want You remember Roxette two Bands very cool but Savage Garden my favority Band❤❤❤❤❤❤
Aaaaah my fav ❤️ 🙌 🙌 you make me happy 😁
The dreams that seem so long but you feel them through and through makes you think you’ve experienced it before and subconsciously you miss it. Or something you want of course. But if you wake and feel it like it did happen… so much passes threw a person constantly, maybe an experience of energy that’s attracted to you. I’m that half Scorpio. The dead in between and time 11-22
I meant on the clock before the suns up but right at that point. I read Scorpio is the only one with 3 forms. 11-22 is alrdy just bad lol. Sounds to me your doing good, haven an open mind, some times there’s a strange pull but your amazingly upbeat. A lot of scorpios aren’t, keep it up man :)
It reminds me of One Week by Barenaked Ladies.
My favorite band!
❤️❤️❤️ You should check out "Crash and Burn" if you haven't.
This is more poppy as it was their first single, but it’s still one of my fave SG songs ❤
Such a banger
Savage Garden always sounded like Roxette.
I Want You- The Look
Hold Me- Run To You
Truly Madly Deeply- The Rain
In my opinion.
300th like right here
Great video 😊 Can you analyze Break Me Shake Me by Savage Garden? That song is great. A little angry ish but great.
Love savage garden and hopefully you see this the song i miss you by darren hayes Honestly saved me in a dark time you should check it out love the content keep up the great work
I think you are my spirit animal!! Please listen to Insatiable by Darren Hayes his voice is angelic
Truly Madly Deeply was a bigger hit for Savage Garden but I’ve always thought this was the much better song/single from that album.
Then you are gonna love "the animal song"
This is the song that broke them in the US
Rosie O'Donnell played it on her talk show a lot, she sort of kick started their career in the US.
@@lorireynolds3540 That's exactly where I first heard it! I remember hearing it and was like who is this, it was so different at the time.
🎤🎧📻🎙️🎻🎹🎺
ya gots to react to suburbs only asking cus barely anyone reacted to this great popular song yet
what about "Crash and Burn"?
We did the full album reaction a few months ago!
Ypu need to listen to Two beds and a coffee machine. It's one of the best songs ever
When I first heard this, I almost thought it was Roxette.
I think its scandalous, tha you havent reviewed the "Affirmation" from SG.
Incredibly upbeat song, one of the best pop song lyrics ever made.
And its probably the first display of the "heart" symbol sing made with hands :)
I have, I have reviewed both Savage Garden Albums on our Patreon.
Link in the description of this video if you are interested brother.

Hey Anton. Fantastic reaction. How about a reaction to the greatest musical prodigy on the planet and quite possibly in history, and no! I'm not exaggerating. Lol
Her name is ANGELINA JORDAN. And this is her take on "Bohemian Rapsody" at the age of 13.
Enjoy the journey!

This a such a copy of Roxette. Sounds a bit like The Look!!!
Никак не могу принять, что этот настолько талантливый парень -гей. Жаль. Бог ему судья, но он талантлив.
It's about the song and artist who's cares what his sexual oriental is
The Aussie version is so much cooler
