Steven Remias Also, if you lose that one good friend, that "good friend" wasn't a good friend at all. I've deleted my facebook account 3 times over the past 4 years and have stayed off for months at a time. Definitely great advice. Second best advice aside from deleting your account is turning off notifications!! Those are seriously annoying.
Dalmain J Wrong. Just shows the person wasn't such a great friend after all. Social media is far from what it's cracked up to be! It can ruin more than friendships especially when you can't do anything without the need to constantly check your phone. I grew up without all this technology and because of what I see it doing to people, (i should say, what I see people letting it do to them) I think it would be great for all of it to automatically shut down and only go on for an hour or two a day, everyday. I'd be willing to bet that people would go back to real humanity and be "real" again.
I have no social accounts besides UA-cam. I used to have a Facebook and Instagram but I deleted both of them since they caused a lot of stress and I have a bad habit of comparing myself to others. Julia Renee Bravo! I was off social media totally for almost 2 years because my computer was down and I didn't have an iPhone iPad or any other eye thing. When I got back online I found I had not missed one single thing. As king Solomon said there is nothing new under the sun.
Gave up almost a year ago. Best decision I ever made. Since then, I've managed to improve so much of my life, and have even managed to get into college to study law. Something I didn't even know I was passionate about nor even know I wanted to do until I quit it. Trust me, it's more than worth getting rid of.
Deactivated mine almost 2 years ago now. No regrets. Everyone I care to talk to are people who I have phone numbers for. Realized I was spending time reading about people's lives from high school that I haven't seen in years. Huge waste of time.
I haven't had facebook for a few years.. not sure why I would want people i'm not even friends in real life with anymore to know so much about my life?
I just left Facebook yesterday and deactivated my account. And I couldn't feel any better it made me less focus on work and life and now I'm more focus is my life and work.
The worst part is, Facebook actually cuts your ties with the people you don't agree with FOR you. It takes into account how much you interact with your friends, and filters out those who you seemingly have nothing in common with. This leads to people only being spoonfed the same old thing over and over from friends with whom they share similar ideas. It leads to a climate where people's perceptions are never challenged or questioned, and people become worse critical-thinkers.
I also think it's a problem being constantly showered with praise for everything you post. It's proven that echo chambers like these slowly shove people across the political spectrum towards the closest extreme position. And we are in desperate need to stop this.
Glad i quit social media 7 years ago. You realize who's real and who's not so quick. People really think they have over 100 friends who care about them but they really don't.
I got off Facebook 6 months ago, I regret nothing...... I hated seeing peoples children, food they eat, where they are at & seeing their shitty opinions on everything, plus I didn't like how people thought they knew me because we were friends on FB. I don't care to see most people I knew in elementary school or any of my ex-girlfriends lol, I feel free'r since I left.
But if you didn't care to see those people you didn't have to have them all your friends list. You could have had Facebook and still not see those people.
UA-cam is useful at least, watched a lot of tutorials that helped me and a lot of other things like listening to a good song from time to time for relaxation.Everything on Facebook seems fake.
Wow this is good! I quit Facebook a few weeks ago for 18 days, then reactivated my account. It was so worth it. Now I am attempting to only use it to connect with my Groups once a week. These hacks are very helpful, thank you.
I Quit Facebook last November after wasting 9 years using the site. It is truly a cess pit of the worst of human behaviour and I am so happy to no longer be part of the charade! Leave the site and be free people :)
I deactivated my account and I must say, it does make a huge positive difference in my life. Seriously! 500+ friends, 90% strangers? My true friends have my phone number and I have theirs. I keep it simple, no social media at all. No Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat...
I think you should have titled this '7 reasons you should quit social media'. I find Instagram far worse than Facebook due to all the people putting up fronts like their lives are perfect when they're not.
I agree. Social can be a consuming disease and especially for young people / young minds who are still developing. Its created a new angle to old mental health / social problems (peer pressure, identity issues, anxiety etc).
kermit1 I have seen people constantly post about bad things in there lives which causes people to ignore. I believe there should be a balance between the two, shows that you go through hardship but, you find the best in it as well.
Totally agree, I quit Facebook 2 years ago and Instagram 2 years ago but was on and off until I deleted it 3 months ago. I was addicted to both for years and realised that I missed out on so much. Took me 2 years to kinda catch up to my friends.. I'm still slightly behind but maybe in 3 - 5 years I'll be ahead of them.
I wouldn't go that far. People have many more choices today on how to spend their time and energy. Unfortunately, most people spend their free time staring at a 5"x3" screen.
I'm almost 41, The 80's were the best. My dad would say the 60's were the best. :) I stopped social media 10 yrs ago when everyone was on myspace.NO facebook etc. I only watch youtube and rarely leave comments.
I lost a friend to a heart attack last year. She was 57 and had been in declining health the last few years, and had been hospitalized several times. Her daughter notified me first because I was the only one of her friends to actually visit her in the hospital. The rest sent fb notes or texted, and she had over 400 fb “friends.” I quit fb in 2013. I miss my friend, but not fb. If your friend is in the hospital, go visit them and leave fb and texting out of it. Miss you, Lydia.
Yes same for me. It's dangerous for privacy, it changes your priorities, it creates an insane competition mood, and you loose true values of true relationships.
love you Antonio! I had quit Facebook 2 years ago and I was about to open a new account tomorrow..........you helped me think once more about it and saved me from doing so.........now I'm never getting back to Facebook.........thanks a lot Antonio........love from India!
I tried Facebook for a week a couple of years ago and then swiftly deleted the profile. The idea of 'friending' people, liking comments and splashing photos of myself on the internet never really held any appeal, plus I've seen first hand how toxic the website can be with friends and family. Unfortunately, because I don't like to advertise my life to everyone society has now branded me a weirdo as a result.
Danny Gomes I never understood why people check in on Facebook at all. I’ve done it once or twice, but are people stupid? Does it ever occur to them that there might be others who are tracking down their every move? For all they know, someone out there is stalking them. People on Facebook are making themselves EASIER TO TRACK DOWN. DON’T CHECK IN! End of story.
I've never had a social media account. I call text and email my friends. Sometimes we actually see each other in person. Im totally normal. You cant even tell I dont have a facebook account.
I quit facebook, Instagram, and all social media. I just use Whatsapp and UA-cam. Its the best think i have done in years. Better use le muy time, i have done new real Friends, my anxiety levels are lower. I really mean that my life is better now. Thanks for this video Antonio!
I quit fb and news feeds over a year ago after my mom died. I saw how bad it was on my mental health. It destroys relationships, causes anger, depression. What we put in our minds absorbs into our hearts.
I had over 50 friends at a time on my Facebook. Year ago I deleted it and ended having just one real life friend, and we made our friendship stronger than ever, because I no more waste my precious time on Facebook, but improving me and my life. This way all relationships becomes stronger, like never before, walk out from social media. Nothing to miss!!!
I stopped using Facebook a number of months ago and I've seriously never felt happier. One of the best decisions I've made! Now I don't have to read about people my age complaining about how hard or unfair life is and doing nothing about it!
I've been through hard times, coping with depression, and as a part of my therapy I decided to deactivate my accounts. I will reactivate them someday, but I was really needing a timeout. And just as you said, people who really care about me are always reachable on the phone, so no big deal!
I never realised how 'toxic' my Facebook feed was until i stopped using it for awhile then going back on it. Then I stopped going back on it. My most used 'social media' is UA-cam. Because some videos help me academically.
Well there are other ways besides using those platform. I prefer human to human interactions, with quality in depth conversation. When conversations between friends take place, naturally, you will be up to date with the current social updates. Selective interaction and updates, in my opinion, are more important as they are more sincere and genuine As for current news, i prefer to get my them from relatively credible sources. Obviously, critical thinking and skepticism skills should apply when necessary.
Cool.I changed my settings to notifications; I whittled down friends from 600+ to just about 100 and these are ONLY professional colleagues and family members, the people I know one-on-one. I visit the page once in a week.
hello. i use the web browser on my phone in computer mode.. much more contol over menus + no notification.. good day and sorry if you now know you can still acces that facebook hype.
Great job everyone for quitting Facebook! keep this movement going! Why stop there? I might even toss my phone in the garbage! Get rid of everything that's annoying..... I wish.

I haven't actually quit facebook yet, but I log in only like once a month or once every two months and I have been doing this for the past 4 years or so. I only have like 50 friends most of them are family members. I have a twitter account but I never use it. I don't have a snapchat, instagram or any of all that crap that most people my age use all the time. All these social media is just not for me. The only one I use is YT. I must be weird.
I quit like 4 years ago... I only talk to like 10 of my old fb friends now lol. Ppl honestly think you are shady af if you don't have fb tho.. it's annoying.
I left FB almost 3 years ago and I don't regret it in the slightest. It's just a gossip, drama and vent board. I don't even think about it now. I'm happy I did it.
I got so disgusted by the endless narcissistic selfies certain "friends" would post. It bothered me so much! I noticed that I didn't really feel good on fb. It caused anger, low self esteem, jealous tendencies, fake surface relationships, addiction to checking notifications which fed my own self-centeredness. I just deactivated my account tonight. I know I will go through a few days of withdrawals after all these years. But I really look forward to healing from all that negativity in my life. It's not who I really am. I look forward to being so much more present and actually living my real life. Not the fake BS on fb. Yay!!! I feel free already.
I quit using smartphone a few years ago because its distracting me whenever I am doing something and not only when I am trying to have a good sleep. There are so much things I couldn't concentrate on, so I stop using the smartphone to see if its make any difference. I quit everything like social media including facebook. I could see so much different than before and I could have a good sleep. My concentrations were a lot improve. I could focus on things better and I see my grade were higher than before. Now I am completely free from social media and will continue to stay away from them. This is my experience that I had and If you don't believe you could try one.
I left FB and all other social media apart from instagram (no notifications) and now I have so much LESS STRESS. Too much negativity and the politics is just too much, people only want to hear things that confirm their existing beliefs rather than anything that proves otherwise. Next move is to stop paying attention to the news and anything political and social-justice related.
I quit Facebook because it really doesn't have anything useful for me, especially regarding the comments. It seems that Facebook creates this illusion that you can take part in actual online conversations and debates. However, anything you write will be subject to temporary public attention, no matter if it's positive or negative, and since it's all quite accessible, and programmed and designed for you to continue reading, any comment you might read or post will not add anything new, or help you understand things better, no matter what it is, mainly because Facebook is a very personal space, and people want to feel at home, or at least comfortable enough to say whatever they want, which might include politics, entertainment, personal life, or whatever, which makes "conversation" and "debates" tremendously difficult to go on without a troll or simply a very stupid person who doesn't understand the shit he drops on his toilet to butt in and change the course of what could be a good time. When that doesn't happen, people fill the section with ridiculously large comments, which nobody will be able to read and process, since there are so many of them (and let's face it, you're doing it for the likes, and nothing else). My point is: I quit Facebook because it's not social, and neither is it fun to use. It's a waste of time, it lessens the value of real sociability, and makes you think you're part of something bigger than yourself, and that is clearly no the case. Think I'm wrong? Just take a look at the comments, especially in pages directed to politics, and then you'll see what I'm talking about.
GREAT VIDEO‼️ I am an entrepreneur with several businesses and I REFUSE to open FB because 9 years ago I did not have this info and started a “business page” for my talk show and have (3years ago) deleted it and it is still there😡 so I’m so glad I found you and thank you for the link that will finally help me GET RID OF FB‼️‼️‼️
I quited FB abt 2 years ago. Still, I have the account, but learned to live without it. FB SUCKS YOUR LIFE OUT. It's totally, absolutely POSSIBLE to live without it and continue being in touch with those who really care abt you. I FOUND THIS, ONE OF THE MOST HELPFUL VIDEOS IN UA-cam, I WISH IT WOULD BE SUBTITLED TO SHARE IT WITH SOME FRIENDS. THANK YOU FOR CREATING THIS AMAZING VIDEO!!!!!
i read through ALOT pf these comments, and it is safe to say 99.9 percent of us agree that facebook is a waste of time which is the most valuable thing we have. which leaves me to believe that if 99.9 percent of us here are in agreeance this video only attracted people who have already quit fb or rarely even use it. which means a main fb user has no idea and is blind to the fact of all the negative effects it has on their lives and their communities in general. so therefore they read the title and wouldnt even think about clicking on the video to watch it and instead ignoring it and keep on poisoning their lives with the toxic that is fb. i myself quit a year ago and id just be repeating all of these comments if i said how much better off i am now. good job everyone. boycott that bs outta your lives
I only deleted my facebook account yesterday because it was having a negative impact on my mental health. I'm obviously having second thoughts, but watching this video has just helped me to reassure myself it was the right decision to make. Thanks. 👍
What a wonderfu & insightfull video. The man speaks the truth. I was addicted to facebook for years. I let it control my life. I used to get so anxious and jealous comparing my life to others I saw on facebook. I even found it difficult to accept when people unfriended me. But the then I began to realise that facebook has its uses, but for the most part its rediculous. After I deacivated and later deleted my profile. I was set free. I am so much happier & healthier now. I haven't looked back.
I have Facebook (pages), twitter and Instagram for business purposes. Also, my profiles have only positive news on it. Disabling notifications and hiding people you don't like to see are essential. I had a friend who loved phishing for compliments and I literally unfollowed her and never saw her again. You'll ultimately weed out the bad if it's too distracting. All about evaluating your feelings. If you don't feel right after seeing a friend's post, there's a problem that needs to be handled. That's the personal FB, but I just send messages and done for the day.
I quit periscope for a year and did not go back it was addicting. I then stop going on social media which took my anxiety away. I do not watch TV at all and I go on You Tube once in a bit. I do not go on Facebook at all since 3 years. I have notice more people that quit social media started to not have depression and anxiety. I read the bible which has changed my life and I have learned that I can live without many things that I thought I needed. I also lost 45 lbs my life has changed for the better since I go online less. True at first it is painful like an ache but it goes away eventually. I now help people quit social media which now most of them started offline businesses.
Sir, you remind me of my younger self. You are indeed, a rare breed. By helping men, we help the entire structure of society. You've inspired me. Thank you. Rock on.
Exactly, If your not paying for the product, you are the product. Let me give you an example If your not paying to watch this video, RMRS is making a business ~$1000 per video or more from just us watching his videos.
I completely quit from all social media in January and I haven't gone back since. I have to say it has impacted my life in many positive ways. I see that I have much more time to accomplish the things that I need to accomplish when before I thought I never had enough time to do what I had to do. I have learned so much more useful information that I'm using towards accomplishing my goals in life. If you feel overwhelmed with all the social media and you need to find a easier way to accomplish your goals, I would recommend you just quit social media all together.
Absolutely love this video. I have already tightened up my privacy settings, and have removed tags of me of photos I didn’t like. I have once or twice quit Facebook before, and then come back (for personal reasons and just simply getting fed up with it). The only other suggestion that I have which might be of help is that now you can create a Messenger account without actually being on Facebook. So you can still keep in touch with friends, and they won’t immediately lose touch with you if you decide to quit your Facebook account. Although I do love the old fashioned pen and paper letter myself! Thanks for the great video!
Very good video, I quit last year and feel so much better for it. REAL friends message or call me instead and I don't have to face everyone's ridiculous political views! Win win!
To start I just deactivated my account...it's my New Year's Resolution...no FB for 6 months. After that, if I don't want to go back, I will delete my profile from there. Great video!
It's strange, whenever I saw the title to this video I realized that I can't remember the last time I was on Facebook. I can tell you that it's been beneficial to my productivity.
I never had facebook, instagram or any other social media and I don't want them. But I have youtube channel and I am thinking that without those social media it would be much harder to get people to watch my videos... I will appreciate any advice.
Tip number 3 is my favorite one ! I always do it ! Every 2 or 3 Years I clean my "friends" list. I actually do the anniversary test and I was feeling bad about unfriending people that "forget" to write something in my profile for my birthday. After that video I feel like I've always made the good thing ;) Think about it : Facebook always notifies us for birthdays (EVERYDAY) and A LOT of people check facebook daily on their mobiles...So there is no way they forgot to wish you a good birthday (which is a simple thing to do) but they intentionnaly chose to gnore you! They totally deserve the "unfriend" :p
Absolutely. Quitting facebook has been groundbreaking for me and I wish I would of left the platform sooner than I did. Leaving helped me focus and get in touch with the present moment. When I was on facebook, I was so disconnected from everything that I might as well of been going through my life with a blindfold on.
So glad you made this. I stopped going on and took the app off of my phone almost a year ago. My life is better for it. It wasted so much if my time and did nothing positive for me. I encourage people to do this. It saps your productivity in a big way. I stayed on Instagram but took it off my home page. Just that little difference decreased the time I spend scrolling through mindlessly by more than half. I replaced it with business news and investing apps. Best move I've ever made!
I quit Fakebook. a long time ago, and all notifications on all my devices are on silence. And I wont date anyone who wont turn their phone off during the date.
I am a mother of 3 teen boys. I, myself, have never used FB, though I see it and other social media outlets causing many problems in their lives. I plan to have them watch this video, been trying to get them to realize how useless social media really is! Thanks, for posting this video!
I deleted my fb last summer of 2016. I have popped on now and again.I just deactivate my account instead of signing out. I always thought it was stupid and superficial. There is too much tracking going on. I never understood why people would post certain things, especially when they were going away on vacation basically announcing that their house will be vacant for a week or checking in at some location. And they wonder why their house got robbed. By the way I still use my Casio G-Zone flip phone..8 years and going strong. I don't use GPS. I google the location and write down the directions so I actually learn and use my memory to know where I am and where I am going and how to get home. As we get older our memory starts to fade. If you don't use it you will lose it.Thats why I don't depend on technology to think for me.
I "quit" Facebook on April 1, no joke! I got absolutely sickened by it! wasted 5 yrs of my life day-in & day-out! I had no life!I did exactly those steps before even seeing this video! love it!
I love Facebook but I use it so much different then most people, it's an amazing way to find people with common interests and find communities who are based around skills. I've improved my sewing and knitting a lot through crafting groups, and am constantly inspired to do more DIY home decor, clothing, and prop building. Also a great way to find local events that interest you.
If you're not paying for the product, you are the product.

One good friend is better than the hundred fake ones
Precisely!

Julia Renee I am thinking about deactivating my FB account soon
Do you have Google+ still?
I quit Facebook a year ago & haven't looked back! I felt so much better & still try to convince my family they are better off without it
Mae Michelle I tried to convince my girlfriend so many times, 😂 but she isn’t seeing it how I am. O well!....people gotta learn the hard way.
True indeed
Good work
Gave up almost a year ago. Best decision I ever made. Since then, I've managed to improve so much of my life, and have even managed to get into college to study law. Something I didn't even know I was passionate about nor even know I wanted to do until I quit it. Trust me, it's more than worth getting rid of.

I haven't had facebook for a few years.. not sure why I would want people i'm not even friends in real life with anymore to know so much about my life?
Cuz they like stalking you!
You have a good point there but my own relatives don’t bother with me in person nor on FB. What’s with that? I am a very nice person to know.
At the moment 2021💯
I just left Facebook yesterday and deactivated my account. And I couldn't feel any better it made me less focus on work and life and now I'm more focus is my life and work.

I also think it's a problem being constantly showered with praise for everything you post.
It's proven that echo chambers like these slowly shove people across the political spectrum towards the closest extreme position. And we are in desperate need to stop this.
Facebook and common core both aim for the same result: To limit peoples thinking lol
Eeriewolf 👍👍👍👍👍👍

I haven't had Facebook for about 5 years. I'm proud ✌🏾
Trish Saint you should be, really.
:-)
Miss Divalicous you ll be back

Glad i quit social media 7 years ago.
You realize who's real and who's not so quick. People really think they have over 100 friends who care about them but they really don't.
Lizano right Fake book fake friends fake prayers and a lot of sad news and the devil is using it as a play ground
Very true

Julie S And that's important?
Julie S ohh. lol. I hate Facebook too.. I never saw the point.
I knew you were being sarcastic LOL..... Grilled Cheese, I'm the master at those, I don't need FB for that lol.
Some relationships belong in your past.
But if you didn't care to see those people you didn't have to have them all your friends list. You could have had Facebook and still not see those people.
i quit facebook and started youtube addiction
same
I'm addicted to UA-cam as well.
COOKIE what's your favourite channel?
same here. I'm a UA-cam fan
Gina Rodrigo
Yes very hateful people are on there.
True indeed been back normal an free
I wanted to pick on Facebook - but yea, could have applied to any!
kermit1 I have seen people constantly post about bad things in there lives which causes people to ignore. I believe there should be a balance between the two, shows that you go through hardship but, you find the best in it as well.
All social media is bad but at least IG is kinda just pictures... FB is nothing but drama filled statuses from miserable baby mamas
I can't stand Facebook removing it from my life best thing ever
When I deleted my facebook years ago.. I felt like I am Free.. so much happiness and innerpeace..until now ..
ill give you one reason, no privacy
Nothing will make you more unhappy than comparing yourself to others. Just do what makes YOU happy.
Life was good back in early 2000s, Now everything sucks. I'm 26 but i think i should've born in the 70s
I know what you mean...
I wouldn't go that far. People have many more choices today on how to spend their time and energy. Unfortunately, most people spend their free time staring at a 5"x3" screen.
Yeah, I am also 26 and I know how funny and interesting life was, during 2000s. Old golden ages.
Ich wurde in den 1970ern geboren. Ich habe ein Facebook-Konto.
I'm almost 41, The 80's were the best. My dad would say the 60's were the best. :) I stopped social media 10 yrs ago when everyone was on myspace.NO facebook etc. I only watch youtube and rarely leave comments.
I quit Facebook already in 2009. Best decision ever.
I left Facebook 2 years ago, the only benefit I've noticed is my phone battery lasts a day now.. lolll
Haha! I didn't even think about it, but I don't have social media either, and my battery lasts all-day 🤣 my phone used to die at least twice a day.
I got on FB on 2015...stayed on for 6-7 months...too negative for me...I hated it!!
Jennifer Allen You're so right
Jennifer Allen It polarises people.
Yes same for me. It's dangerous for privacy, it changes your priorities, it creates an insane competition mood, and you loose true values of true relationships.
le melomiel. Exactly
I dumped FB in 2011, have not missed it all.
love you Antonio!
I had quit Facebook 2 years ago and I was about to open a new account tomorrow..........you helped me think once more about it and saved me from doing so.........now I'm never getting back to Facebook.........thanks a lot Antonio........love from India!
Appreciate the love - thanks Jairaj!
Real Men Real Style Love your work.........wish you good luck for the future!!
I tried Facebook for a week a couple of years ago and then swiftly deleted the profile. The idea of 'friending' people, liking comments and splashing photos of myself on the internet never really held any appeal, plus I've seen first hand how toxic the website can be with friends and family.
Unfortunately, because I don't like to advertise my life to everyone society has now branded me a weirdo as a result.
but how will everyone know what I ate for lunch. if I don't post it on Facebook???
Whelp you can mail um some dirty toilet stinky stool and let them fight over it and they will make you a hero on fb
HA!HA!Ha!ha!!!
Truly one of the most valuable videos you have ever done. 👍🏻
Thanks Travis! Always good to see you!
Super - glad it worked out for you.
Note: I did that about a year ago.
Great videos Antonio. Thanks for your help.
Greetings from México.
Elvin Escobar i am just like you on this
Elvin Escobar same here. I am keeping viber for my family and friends and youtube for learnings.
same here...youtube+viber/whatsapp
I quit fb and news feeds over a year ago after my mom died. I saw how bad it was on my mental health. It destroys relationships, causes anger, depression. What we put in our minds absorbs into our hearts.
I had over 50 friends at a time on my Facebook. Year ago I deleted it and ended having just one real life friend, and we made our friendship stronger than ever, because I no more waste my precious time on Facebook, but improving me and my life. This way all relationships becomes stronger, like never before, walk out from social media. Nothing to miss!!!
I never created a Facebook ID because I see people addicted to it and don't find it good
How about do as the title suggested 'QUIT' ...rather than changing settings and such.
Which is told in the video.
AMEN
I never realised how 'toxic' my Facebook feed was until i stopped using it for awhile then going back on it. Then I stopped going back on it. My most used 'social media' is UA-cam. Because some videos help me academically.
Yes, I find UA-cam can be very informative, on almost any subject. Vehicle repairs, recipes, home remedies, health. Instructive music, etc.
Never had a fb, insta, twitter account. I'm still up to date and happy :)
Rafiq up to date? With news? What's your source to get info?
Well there are other ways besides using those platform. I prefer human to human interactions, with quality in depth conversation. When conversations between friends take place, naturally, you will be up to date with the current social updates. Selective interaction and updates, in my opinion, are more important as they are more sincere and genuine As for current news, i prefer to get my them from relatively credible sources. Obviously, critical thinking and skepticism skills should apply when necessary.
you had a yt acc...
I never quit facebook, I just kind of gradually stopped using it.
Irving MacBrynleigh Jr. me 2
Cool.I changed my settings to notifications; I whittled down friends from 600+ to just about 100 and these are ONLY professional colleagues and family members, the people I know one-on-one. I visit the page once in a week.
Irving MacBrynleigh Jr. same here.
deleting the fb app from my phone was the best thing I've done
Great to hear!
Celtic704 That's what I did
I did that and substituted it for something else
Celtic704 me too
hello. i use the web browser on my phone in computer mode.. much more contol over menus + no notification.. good day and sorry if you now know you can still acces that facebook hype.
Great job everyone for quitting Facebook! keep this movement going! Why stop there? I might even toss my phone in the garbage! Get rid of everything that's annoying..... I wish.
Me too

I haven't actually quit facebook yet, but I log in only like once a month or once every two months and I have been doing this for the past 4 years or so. I only have like 50 friends most of them are family members. I have a twitter account but I never use it. I don't have a snapchat, instagram or any of all that crap that most people my age use all the time. All these social media is just not for me. The only one I use is YT. I must be weird.
UA-cam is like updated television. It has its problems, but it's easier to manage than Facebook.
@@coltthestarsheriff3544 I strongly agree.
I only use UA-cam and Goodreads now.
Very well. This part of being a real man, thus videos like these are necessary. Thank you!
Gusher Felter True 👌
This is my experience that I had and If you don't believe you could try one.
ever see a table of four people out to dinner all on their phones? Nothing today makes someone more antisocial than social media!!
👍
Primo pastor
These are the exact reasons I never got Facebook in the first place!
It can be addicting to use it but it's a great tool to stay connected with people around the world.
Real Men Real Style dude I agree with you on that
John Smith you were very smart. I'm still on it but never go on it. I don't even have the app for it on my phone.
John Smith With u
John Smit
pheraiya
I need to get some friends so I can unfriend them.
Beavis LMFAO
Beavis lol 😂
Beavis dangett Buttmunch you unfriended me huh huh
Love Beavis!!! XD
Beavis don't let butthead see this
I only deleted my facebook account yesterday because it was having a negative impact on my mental health.
Arsenio Buck So true !
quit facebook and instagram cold turkey 2 years ago and it's probably one of the best things i've ever done
huangsta I quit cold turkey in 2014. Don't miss it.
huangsta no offense, but you haven't done much. have you?
huangsta and cigarette smokers thought they had it hard😂
I quit LifeInvader years ago. Got sick of pretending to have a life
I quit periscope for a year and did not go back it was addicting.
Thank you. Rock on.
says quit fb.
and links their fb page 😂😂

Lol Scroll down in the description, 'it says "LIKE US ON FACEBOOK"
U Dumb?
I actually deactivated my account a while ago and i'm so relaxed from peoples lives. Now i sticked on youtube lol though it is much useful ^_^
Exactly, If your not paying for the product, you are the product.
Let me give you an example
If your not paying to watch this video, RMRS is making a business ~$1000 per video or more from just us watching his videos.
I avoid Facebook, like Facebook avoid taxes!
VR lol, true that. A lot of big corporations do that.
Facebook? get a life
Very good video, I quit last year and feel so much better for it.
It's been a year and half since I quit using it and I can tell you that my life is so much better since then. I even don't like to see that "f" again.
I never had facebook, instagram or any other social media and I don't want them. But I have youtube channel and I am thinking that without those social media it would be much harder to get people to watch my videos... I will appreciate any advice.
Nice one-i have never twittered as it is merely for twits. But do u really want people of that quality watching your vids?
UA-cam is a violent-free social media
i am really happy that youtube made us happy.
Tip number 3 is my favorite one ! I always do it ! Every 2 or 3 Years I clean my "friends" list. I actually do the anniversary test and I was feeling bad about unfriending people that "forget" to write something in my profile for my birthday. After that video I feel like I've always made the good thing ;)
Think about it : Facebook always notifies us for birthdays (EVERYDAY) and A LOT of people check facebook daily on their mobiles...So there is no way they forgot to wish you a good birthday (which is a simple thing to do) but they intentionnaly chose to gnore you!
Diasable facebook notifications,, then you go on to say subscribe never miss a notification from RMRS...
Old news, left Facebook 5 years ago.
...me too 7 years ago.
Tomorrow I'm quitting Facebook, it's too much of a obstacle now, time to find my place in the world
Awesome tips. I quit facebook almost 2 years ago. and my life's quality improved very very much.
Loved it! I deactivated my account a few weeks back. gonna re activate it to share this awesome inspiring true to the point video
I've been thinking about it for a while... I guess I'm want quit... I am done with Facebook I'm done with social media
I only use youtube. never had a facebook or twitter
Facebook ain't bad. It's just worst.
Get off Facebook, and come to UA-cam!
I quit life 15 years ago and now I watch youtube videos.
Impressive --- I don't see it as a waste if you're watching to learn.
Jordan Marshall me too ha!
