You should have continued to show us the vehicle would not start, because sharing your experience would have made your video even better for all of us to learn even more.

I just bought an 06 5.7, and it’s stalling at start occasionally, then a hard start after a stall. Runs great otherwise. I do suspect this problem, I will address it. Some just clean the part with carb cleaner and put it back. May work. My mechanic friend posed another possibility. That it’s losing fuel pressure while sitting. He suggested I cycle the key a few times before starting, to build fuel pressure. I’m not saying this was my problem, but I’ve done it the last 5 times I used the truck, no stalls. Tbh I hope it’s this valve tho, seems common and much easier fix lol.

old school trick, chew gum, take a small pinch, place the gum on to the top of the screw and sandwich to socket, a bit messy. but it works for me. hope my tip helps. cheers

Thank you for not letting us see what the truck sounded like before and after the installation of the part! That would’ve been two helpful for us.

In a video he made replacing the TPS he shows at the very beggining of that video what the truck sounds like, a hard start/no start with the truck cracking

It can be this or also the tps as well I have a video on replacing that as well.
But it could also be a number of other things like a bad plenum gasket, etc.
This is one of the easiest and cheapest fixes to try first to fix it.
Good luck and thanks for watching.

I was going to say that's a pretty shitty way to end the video but then I thought maybe I shouldn't say that's a shity way to end the video but it is the shittiest way to end, and it was actually a chance for him to continue the video and help us learn even more, because that's what it's all about, sharing what he learns.

I really need to, but depsit having 100's of repair videos. They often don't even make enough to reimburse me for the repairs cost of parts, so I just keep working with what I got.
