Amazing pedals and company. Their customer service is amazing too. The main selling point with the fuzz is how you can change the tone from fat to glass with the guitars volume knob.
Got a Texas Twang on Friday it blew me away the quality and sound is fantastic so many different tones just not from the pedal but the volume knob on your guitar outstanding 👏👏👏👏
Awesome company in particular i agree the vol knob clean up to glassy tone of the PP fuzz is fantastic something i couldnt find anywhere in other fuzz pedals on the market 🎸👍
Electro Harmonix Ripped Speaker Fuzz. I bought it specifically because it does the glassy clean to full fuzz just with the guitar volume. At least with Strat/Tele single coils. Also it was only $100. You can hear the "glassy clean" demo on the EHX official video demo at the 3:09 time stamp. Also, the Fuzzface or Fuzzface Mini germanium pedals will do it as well.
Chris is super to deal with. Sold my 69 Fulltone and Dunlop Hendrix JHF1 after getting the Pedal Pawn Fuzz. Always on Fuzz for me - from Sayce to Hendrix per Volume knob
It's kind of an established consensus that fuzz doesn't sound great with humbuckers. That's my personal experience, and the guys on That Pedal Show talked about that on one video, so I know it wasn't just me or my gear.
@@darwinsaye I’ve had the opposite experience, but it depends on the style of fuzz. I think tone bender style fuzzes sound phenomenal with humbuckers, but fuzz face style don’t. However, that’s my personal experience.
I'm snookered here, at the beginning of the video we heard "SRV at TV volume" then later on in the video we hear "the amp needs to be cranked" so which is it?
I just got texas twang in the mail. sounds great! but when I disengage the pedal I lose all sound. is it possible to add it to my pedal board w/o having it engaged all the time?
Kind of feel a higher headroom amp would have done more justice to these pedals At least the vibe anyways I have all of Cezars pedals and the fuzz is spot on Cheers
Hmmm I tried a SM fuzz that sounded great on Peaches demo but don't like it so far so still using a Sunface I've had a Square face and it sounds identical really but I like warmer lows Still using a Ranger and Dillo

Pretty much any germanium fuzzface style pedal should do that. Silicon can do it too but not as well
