As good as the pedal may be... I think it's fair to say that you are just a tone wizard, Richie. Everything sounds good with your playing. Greetings from the USA.
Great review, lovely sounds and playing! This and the That Pedal Show Vibe/Trem episode today - it's like Gypsy Vibe heaven - Cannot wait to get my hands on one!
Richie, just wanted to say thanks for this very helpful long-form demo. I've been researching and comparing the Shin-Ei, Sabbadius and Pedal Pawn vibe units, and your demonstration gave me exactly what I needed to know. My Gypsy Vibe just arrived and it's everything I hoped for (leaves and twigs!) and more. Thanks again, mate.
Another great demo R! Awesome playing and great pedal tones. Simple controls are nice. Sounded like it ramps nicely where some seem to have too much of an offset notch. Really helpful vids if I ever give in and give up my Captain Coconut.
Great full demo bro ! You know the throb is strong when your phone speakers can't handle it and start to cracking and wobling :D i wonder how this will sound compared with deltavibe !
Right On! Thing does sound good. Some of them chords you were playing sounded so expensive, Im sitting here worried about how you gonna pay the rent lol ....Makes me want to learn and Vibe. As always Thank you
Fantastic review 🌬🌊🔉 The pedal sounds awesome, and your playing brilliant as always ! I was wondering how the Volume knob especially would interact, so I was over the moon when you started getting into it : the « Unity gain » thing is fascinating. Same with the « Throb/Depth » turned at 0/10, I was wondering if it would cut the swirl or simply slow it. I now have all the answers !!! Thank you so much for getting into so many details, it really helped push the pedal even higher at the very top of my neverending bucketlist haha Also it’s cool to witness Chris and Pedal Pawn really starting to develop such a serious line products over the last 2 years, starting to grow, that’s well deserved. Anyway, I digress... All the best mate ✌️
Have to say that this tone aside is a fantastic looking pedal And have to say giving this a couple more listens that it sounds as good or better than vibes costing twice as much Good stuff..I'm actually in the market for something right now and seriously considering this unit But what I'm on the fence about is a vibe or rotary pedal Great pedal Good stuff 👍

Great video as always sir... How would you compare Gypsy vibe vs. Sir Henry vs Vibe bro? I have noticed DBII come and go back and forth between sir Henry and Vibe bro... thanks!
Speaking of rig dependency regarding vibes...what is your favorite vibe for strat and marshall? And also if you dont mind what are some of the standout vibes to you or your favorites?
Hi Michael , aww man that’s really hard to answer ~ weirdly it’s one of those effects that I hear different from day to day ! One day I love one unit ~ the next day another ! I can vouch for the midnight being a GREAT unit though 😊
I don't mind a bit of advertising enthusiasm, but the hard sell of this unit is a hype too far. It doesnt sound that great either, way too boomy like some other clones could be if you were unlucky. 400 quid is over the top too when you can get other univibe clones which sound better and are considerably less money.
At a certain quality point, with most of these boutique builds of “vintage” circuits, it comes down to taste. Does one you want the preamp, how much low end does one want coming through, range of speed, etc. I’ve had the chance to play quite a few late 60’s Uni-Vibes, a couple of Roger Mayer’s Voodoo Vibes, each of Dunlop’s models, and countless more affordable ones. If playing by myself or on a recording, I like the lower end vibes, but in a band mix I still use a Mojo Hand Villanova. It was a $199 new a few years back now, and is a photocell circuit, but it has less low end, which lets my mids cut through, while still retaining all the beauty of the effect. It also has mix and tone knobs, which really come in handy on my crowded board. I like the Sabbadius ones, for vintage units, and the Kingtone 1968 Vibe, for a smaller boxed vintage circuit. But are they worth $400-$500? If it’s a pedal that inspires, and I’m going to keep it for years, then I’d argue they are. Is the Jam Pedals one worth it at $350? JHS has one for $199 with tap tempo! 😄
Hey there , I hear ya 😊 We all hear things differently ~ what is one mans treasure is another mans trash ⭕️ I’m just a dude who loves to play Univibes and is lucky enough to demo these units ! Anything other than that is probably best directed at the company ⭕️

Agreed. It sounds a little off to me compared to clips of vintage units.
Robin Trower has used the fulltone deja vibes for years that's good enough for me
Great demo, Richie, as always! Tasty playing as well. 🤙🏻✌🏻
Thanks Buddy I really appreciate you stopping by !! Throbber huh ⚡️⚡️
Outstanding demonstration! I'm really digging this! I'm totally blown away by this, so you know what I'm thinking! ....It's time!

Hey man, I love your videos!
I'm deciding between the gipsy vibe or the midnight vibe by r weaver fx.
Which one would you suggest?
Thanks in advance
You should get paid for these demos man.
does this pedal have a volume drop? ive watched a lot of other reviews and it when engaged, even att max volume it doesnt seem to reach unity gain.
From memory I don’t think this one does ?
Just wondering if you like this better than the God-Vibe. I can’t find the god vibe anywhere but gypsy vibe is easy to get
I have a midnight... which do you prefer?

Hi does this pedal sounds good with a distortion pedal ? Thanks.

Quality control issues at pedal pawn. Buyer beware!
