      Bro i couldnt even hunt this evening. I missed a huge huge buck i been hunting on hard piney public land..perfect morning, it was cold and everything was perfect. Then went to range my possible shot distances an realized i didnt have my range finder. And its stripped pines so distance is tricky to judge..he walked out broadside at 750am. Shot clean over him and i think he dipped a lil too..man i rarely miss. An i get a once in a lifetime buck an this happens..been so sick all day. Replaying it. Was gonna hunt this evening an decided i couldn't do it. Minds in torments

    If this channel doesn’t blow up I’m cancelling all other hunting channels! This is raw emotion and if you hunt you know the exact feeling this young lady has for the outdoors! Just you going hunting by yourself, out of a saddle, hanging your own stick, mad impressive! I can’t get rid of the smile on my face for her! Congratulations and I hope the Lord blesses you for years to come! #oneofakind

      Hunting channels are suppressed and can never "blow up" due to the algorithms - which blows. That said, Maus is one of the best self filmed hunters, she puts in so much work... and i totally agree she should already be at 250k+ subs.

    My daughter cried when she harvested her first mature 8 point couple months ago on youth day. To be honest I sat there, held her and cried with her. I've been lucky enough to harvest some great bucks over the years, but none of them meant nearly as much to me as hers did. Tears of joy only come from people who are true empaths and unfortunately the world has a real shortage of them these days. Not only is that a great buck, but the effort and skill you used was also great. Your buck is truly a special accomplishment. Congratulations and I wish you many more years of happiness in the field❤️

    If you're not a bow hunter, I want you to pay attention to how much emotion is shown when she sees that she was successful. A gun hunter will never experience that level of pure joy, satisfaction, accomplishment and a tremendous amount of pride in the kill. You saw all the work, moving stands, hours scouting, sitting, spotting and planning to put herself in a position to be not only in bow range, but also taking in consideration of wind direction and the time of day the buck is working his scrapes. This young lady is one hell of a hunter and my hats of to you. Great job. I have felt that same emotion myself. Men don't usually express theirs in tears of joy but it's very common in lady bow hunters and not a damn thing to need to apologize for. Just helps us feel what you're feeling. Probably a one up on any mans video. Bravo on a job well done in every aspect from the hunt and the video of it. If I had to say what you did wrong, I couldn't. I killed my first buck in 1982 and have killed a many, so I hope you will take my word for knowing the business of this sport. 10 out of 10 youngin! Great job!

      Totally agree with you as an avid outdoorsman I can say there is absolutely nothing like connecting with a deer with a bow. Unfortunately now being disabled I’m relegated to a crossbow and a ground blind 😞 it’s just not the same anymore!

    Like many here, i've hunted for years and watched hundreds of videos of hunts. THIS is by far the very best video I've seen, for several reasons. One, the pure excitement and raw emotion is priceless. This is a young woman who loves the outdoors, loves hunting and fully respects the wildlife. Kaitlyn does it all on her own, where other girls her age wouldn't even walk through the woods. Her passion is so impressive, but her true appreciation of the outdoors and her love of the experience is amazing. Kaitlyn sets an example for hunters everywhere and I'm left smiling after watching her experience here. Thank you Kaitlyn for sharing this, you are a beautiful spirit and true sportswoman.

  • @jeffelsner8681
    @jeffelsner8681 2 роки тому +8

    I love the raw emotion. It is a part of all the hard work that goes into doing what you do. I was on a bear hunt in 2001 and started to record myself after shooting my black bear and totally lost it. I was crying so hard as I dedicated that hunt to my buddies dad who we had just lost the year before. It was such a powerful statement to why we do this and how much is it a part of our soul. I showed it to my other buddy that I was hunting with and was then embarrassed and taped over it, never showing it to my buddy whos dad we lost......That is something I regretted almost immediately. I would give almost anything to get that video back.
    We all love watching your content, you put so much into it and it shows. I do wish that you would have been recording the during the whole recovery, or at least showed us if you did, there is something so special at the moment one first sees there deer after all the emotional ups and downs.
    My daughter loves watching you channel as well.

    Priceless raw emotion. I follow your hard work, struggles and pains to make a dream come true and that is what just happened. In each of your kills the emotion is genuine and it never fails to bring a tear to my eye as well. You are so lovable and you always explain step by step how a hunt progresses. I challenge any hunter to not watch this and cry and revel in your success. You have a lot of great videos out but this one by far is the very best yet. Congrats Kaitlyn on a true monster buck! You EARNED this! 😂🥰

    Flat out amazing. The pure joy excitement and passion is why every hunter here understands what you felt at that moment. If I ever lose that feeling I am done hunting. Very happy and proud of you. Big congrats. Like others say don't apologize for your emotions, that is what is missing in so many other channels. You brought that feeling is what makes you and this video exceptional. Well done

    Great buck and great camera work! Love the emotion. When that feeling goes away, you know it's time to quit hunting. That's what it's about! Again, great buck! Well done.

    Love seeing young women like yourself in the woods doing what you love! My daughter is 26 and has hunted all her life, I started her at 3 yrs old running after doves I had shot, she still goes dove, duck, squirrel and deer hunting I even taught her how to track deer with little blood and how to read the ground for leaf disturbances. Great video kiddo!

    Don’t apologize girl! Congratulations on a great buck and self filming it! That’s a major accomplishment! You definitely deserve it! My wife and I really enjoy your content. She showed emotion just like you on a yearling doe last week in VA. Can’t wait until she shoots one of Swoops caliber! Keep on keeping on!
