Congratulations kid. Been a sub for awhile now, even had a response from you once on me trying to get daughter into hunting with me. I to remember that day very well, setting in front of the tv that morning with my son of 4 years of age making him watch so he would remember the day our country almost came to stop. The haters out there aren't much different from different from those who attacked our country. They are just jealous of what you accomplished, like a lot of other people in different countries who are jealous of the good ole USA. Him and swoopes will look good side by side 😮😊❤.

Hearing you talk about 9/11 got me emotional. I am 31yo from NJ and remember that day like it was yesterday. 4th grade. We lost 16 people from my hometown. I am currently active duty US Army on deployment in Germany and missing this whole hunting season.. watching hunting videos non stop to get my mind off of work when I can.. but you remind me why I do it. Cant wait to get back stateside in the spring and get a gameplan for next fall to get some hunting in. God bless. Oh yea, and GREAT buck!!! Congrats!! Thank you for being parked during your intro interview and not holding your phone and staring at yourself while driving like so many other hunters that film do. Great hunt nice buck! Don’t let anybody who doesn’t like the corn bother you. Hunting over apple trees or food plots or acorns is still hunting over bait it’s just somebody didn’t put it there (or in the case of s food plot somebody did!) There is nothing wrong with some shell corn. And for all the whiners that say CWD, come spend a few weeks in the field in the Midwest and watch the non stop feeding frenzy under a 10ftX10ft circle under apple trees those deer pee and poop and drool and lick all over those apples then every deer in the heard comes and eats them it’s crazy. Shell corn does nothing compared to the likely millions of apple trees out there on the landscape. Sorry for the rant, good job Kaitlynn

I’m 56 and this year I was traveling on 9/11 I’m glad I was in the truck by myself because I fell apart. The memories came flooding back . I will never forget. Happy you didn’t.

Congratulations Kaitlyn! That is an awesome Buck! 👏🏼👊🏼🙌🏼🔥Fortunately I was enjoying the Elk woods on 9/11. What a blessing it was to spend time with my Dad and cousin! Unfortunately I have not yet notched an Elk tag. Got to be on Elk every day but it was hot and the Elk were not rutting. We put in the time and miles but never could close the gap. Unfortunately while I was being selfish enjoying the Elk woods it slipped my mind it was 9/11. Sorry to those first responders and military who made the ultimate sacrifice on 9/11, since then and before then defending our freedoms. May we as Americans come together in Unity to sever Gods will and set the ultimate example to the rest of the world America is Stronger Than Ever and we truly are “One Nation Under God Indivisible with Liberty and Justice For All!” God Bless Your Military Men and Women!

I can relate to you thinking you're not seeing much but realizing how fortunate you really are about three years ago I was walking in the woods in rifle season not seeing any deer but my younger brother had cancer at the time and was laying in a hospital bed in his living room and I thought to myself why am I complaining he can't get out of his bed and I'm able to be out here in the woods walking around I should be grateful that I'm able to do that
I know exactly what you mean when you have those day's when you're not seeing anything and all you can do is think, but when it finally pays off it makes it just that much more special. Great deer and good luck the rest of the season. We're about to start here in Michigan

I'm never forget that day it was on a Tuesday I was delivering Pepsi Cola to our Capitol here in Michigan they went on a lock down and booted me out!! Later I see at my next stop on a TV screen the second plane smash tower two what a terrible day in our history 😢 the fact you show this emotion just shows you are an amazing human ty for that. Cool! It is possible to mount the go-pro camera on the left arm slightly in front and on top of the elbow with a loop of elastic. Nobody does that. Except me.Good shots are obtained. Don't cry anymore, the whole happy life is ahead!

The little spray bottle for wind direction is ok, but try this and you will never go back. Pick a piece of cotton and tear off the smallest piece that you can and hold it up and turn it loose. You will instantly see wind direction but also as far away as you can see the cotton. Wind direction at your tree stand is great but what is it doing 10 to 20 yards away? You will be amazed at what you see.
Congrats, Kaitlyn! Great video! Love the 9/11 thoughts. I never knew it had happened, that day. Two buddies and I were elk hunting in Colorado. We were not back to our truck until two days after, did we hear about 9/11/01, and how the sequence of it all played out. Coming across the country, to PA, on Interstate -80, perhaps, the coolest drive we ever did. Every bridge either had a U.S. Flag, or some red, white and blue decorations. Some had people waving a flag or two, and some had firetrucks with someone standing on them waving our flag. Yeah, I think of that, and thank our first responders everyday for being there!! Thanks for sharing, Kaitlyn!!

It seems like deer season brings all that do it back down to reality and let's us just set and think about whatever we want to and it always goes back to thinking about the one's whom have left us over the years and how great it is to be able to be sitting in silence doing what us deer hunters do. It's a hard date to ever forget and it says a lot about yourself for bringing it up in your video and I mean that in a position way. Glad your guest had a great time and I'm sure she won't forget it anytime soon. The hunting over bait thing is a hot topic that divides a lot of hunter's with all the pros and cons and we don't need to give the people who hate hunting anymore ammo from us bickering about how each of us hunt so that's why I always say that it's your deer tag so hunt it how you want, you payed for it so you determine how your going to use it. That was a awesome buck no matter what state it came from. Congrats there young lady and be safe out there.

Well at least she does not do what I did last year. I had the nice non-typical buck I was chasing for 4 years at about 45 yards and forgot to even turn the camera on to get any footage of him. Sadly about a month later in December he seems to have died from a fight with another buck so no more chances with him, estimated he was 8 or 9 years old.
