I had a dream a couple years ago about deer hunting and they were all crazy non typicals since it was a dream and stuff doesn’t look real and this is basically exactly how they looked. Amazing
Great video and story here ! Listening to you talk about "can't move and only moving your eyes" reminds me of a friend Ive hunted with for years. He refuses to look a deer in the eyes and warns others not to as well. He swears that a deer knows or can sense when yo "stare at them" directly in the eyes. I've laughed at him, in spite of his high success rate, but I'll admit, I now lower my head to get my hat brim below the eyes when fairly close, just in case he's right lol! Thanks for sharing this !
Kyle told his buddy that he can shoot him if he wanted to before the season even started. His friend Chris couldn’t make it out this year, there’s more to the story.
I was thinking the same thing. Buddy wants to shoot the biggest deer of his life and he says I think he’s too young only to shoot him a month later. Judging from the monsters behind you on the wall should have been an easy choice if you’re buddy helps you manage the place
If you are a hunter and this isn't the most infuriating you've ever seen something is wrong! Everything about this story and tool bag is ridiculous. 1.Wouldn't let his "friend" hunt the buck after making him leave the camera there for months. 2. Said the buck was TOO SMALL!! 5 drop tines... 3. Had a severe injury to his back leg!! Finish the buck off. 4. Goes out to hunt the buck cause he didn't have any "hit list" on his other properties, after telling his friend he couldn't, and then decides this buck is massive and he needs to kill it!!! Selfish prick 5. Wastes a perfect killing opportunity and video 6. Doesn't even get the actual hunt/kill on camera
Glad I’m not the only one getting punk vibes from this guy bahaha. He did say his buddy couldn’t get out to hunt him because of no time off and maybe I’m being too harsh, but man just his attitude...no humbleness at all. Who in their right freaking mind would have thought that deer should be off limits?? His strong side is 100+ inches LOL
That buck had at least an 8ft. string of barbed wire on his left rear leg. Should have mercy killed him from the first sighting. What a puke. Kids don't learn from this guy.
That big boy is crazy. Congratulations Brother. 🎉 I'm sure you've had plenty of people say. Imagine if his right matched the left? Comparatively of course. That would be something.
Great story. Not sure how you thought this was the same deer from 2018. I saw no resemblance on his left side at all. Just curious why you didn't mention he was crippled up so bad. I know you said he survived a gun shot but that deer needed to be harvested regardless of age and antler size.
I bet it is though. When deer get shot like he mentioned, the protein they use to heal is transported from the protein from his rack, that is what caused the deformity in on his left side. He said another hunter made a bad shot and that deer has an awful limp.
Fully concur. That deer has struck by a vehicle while in velvet, this is what mashed his antlers...immediately after the strike - the deer ran blindly into a barbed wire fence. His left rear leg was injured and untimely quasi-healed straight out behind him. Creek Kings Outdoors stated they "manage their herd." The deer was obviously badly injured. This deer should have been culled from the herd ASAP. I think this fellow needs to go to school for proper herd management.
@@BearlyOutdoors I agree 90% with your assessment. Consider this....on our ranch in Llano, TX (we have since sold it) we see 2-3 deer per year with their hind foot caught between the top two wires of our fences. They may be there for days jerking on that leg trying to get free. It's an awful sight to pull up on one like that. Almost always they have displaced the hip joint. If all the hide is rubbed off down to the bone just above the dew claws, we usually dispatch them on the spot and call the warden. Sometimes we untangle them if we thank they can make it and a few have but most just limp around much like the one in this video does.
@@BearlyOutdoors Kyle is not apart of Creek Kings Outdoors, He's just a friend who wanted his story told, This deer needed harvested and it was. Hope you enjoyed seeing a video about the deer.
@@creekkings so now it all comes out that KYLE was in fact after this deer 100% from the start. Kyle was just telling Chris to get Ed patterned without doing the work. Thanks for this comment 👍. Yes I would especially I made the mistake of not judging the deer right ( THAT I HAD 2 YEARS OF HISTORY WITH SHEDS AND TRAIL CAM PICTURES 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️).
Nice. Looks like he lived a long life. And he was Injured. Good thing you got him. He may not have made it thru a hard winter. Maybe he would maybe he wouldn't. But he was defintly at the age and condition for the taking. Great story and great buck.
I was hunting a 3 legged buck in the late season that had mutant antlers, but he was only about a 125-135 class. I got to see him 4 times but just couldn't quite get in range. Got pretty good footage of him considering I used an iPhone LOL
You got skunked on day 3 because maybe you left the stand and walked through the woods 30 minutes before dark. Deer probably saw you and smelled scent left behind. Another reason could be you not letting your buddy hunt him..
Yeah Kyle never kills big deer at all he doesn’t know what he’s doing at all, I’ll make sure to let him know he was wrong. Lol i can tell you didn’t watch the video because literally 3 minutes in he said Chris his buddy wasn’t going to be able to make it to Ohio this year and Kyle said he could kill him.
Ohio bucks are big and some of the best hunting. That’s a great buck and I can’t believe it made it that long in wild or farm it’s so unique. Congrats on very nice buck
What a story and what a stud of a Buck! Congrats man! Only sad part of this story is that u wanted this deer off limits to your good friend but you took that buck anyways! Great deer, but he only had two actual drop tines. Both main beams curved downward, doesn't make them drop tines. G2 on the right appeared to grow "down" because of the severe downward curve of the main beam, doesn't make it a drop tine either.
Just going off of what Buckmaster's said when they scored it, It was contemplated for several minutes then a decision was made to score it as a main beam.
If you listened to what he said his buddy wasn’t gonna be able to make it out that season to hunt, and they had several phone calls talking about it once they got more pictures. Don’t take a 30 minute video for absolutely everything over the course of 4-5 months of events

Kyle told his friend that he could hunt him well before season even started. But his friend never even came up to Ohio... How many of your friends would allow you to shoot a 189" freak on a property you don't even own? I didn't think so haha
You’re telling me that deer grossed 189” and you are telling your buddy he is off limits because he has some growing to do?! Some people just go crazy over antlers.🤷♂️
Dang I wish he would’ve talked about his injury more! That broken leg looked gnarly! Maybe hit by a car? Either way the rack he grew was unbelievable! Awesome story
Hey Matthew! Kyle and his buddy Chris have been friends for a long time and they had very many long talks about this deer!! Chris wasn't able to come and hunt any time soon! Also, these are all Kyle's properties, so it is kinda his pick of what deer are allowed to be shot and who's not. Thanks for watching!!
remember back in the day as they say this deer would have been shot because it was the humane thing to do instead of the size of horns not much of a friend said his friend really really wanted to shot it if he was any kind of a friend he should let the guy shot whatever he gets excited about bet if the tables were turned he would say he shot it by accident
Man that was your buddies buck. Can't believe you made him leave his trail cam there for so long when he wanted to move it. If you was a real hunter, you would have let him move his camera and put your own right there. Good deer though
Hit by a car and was shot from the year before. Once Kyle saw the extent of his injuries paired with how big he really was in person, he had to shoot him.
Last season i shot a deer still had a tag that sobi saylt behind a huge wood pile. My fiance saw that spot never thought of sitting there, next day i go to my spot down the way and my fiance sat behind the wood pile. Nailed a great 8 pt that morning. Just a chair and a woodpile lol
You couldnt seriously believe you made the deer go nocturnal after one ground encounter ? Big bucks are smart but they if you 2 just looked at each other then there is no chance you scared him off.
Ugly buck... Obviously wounded bad. That's why he grew the drop tines. Looks like he mangled his rack during velvet too... Leg injuries can cause drip tines... Probably hit by a car...
lot of extra inches on those sheds with the tape lolol then to tell your buddy not to shoot a deer due to age structure, then give him the pass when he doesn't have time to hunt it? I can age a deer dang near off the first picture i get of him but it took you several days worth of pictures? Judging by your wall, you have some luck but this just doesnt sit well with me. And referring to sitting on the ground like an "idiot" is pretty ignorant, considering MANY including myself have killed big, mature deer off the ground. Sounds like you may be the problem.

This is why I only rifle hunt. I'll be damned if 80-500 yards is going to be any reason I can't take the animal I want. Bow hunting is fun.....if you've never ran dogs for deer/bear, or you have nothing but long open fields & open swamp land.
I don’t know how you can see that buck for the first time and think he’s not a shooter… Some of you guys are so damn spoiled it’s ridiculous
😂
Thanks for your input 😂
He’s a grad a dbag
Great content can't wait to get my in line
You nevr know:) Giveaway winner announcement video next weekend!
So...was this the buck that got shot the previous year? Thats why he had the gimped back leg and possibly went all Non Typical? Thanks.
Yeah he got hit by a car to… he was on the struggle bus
Minnesota I get nice bucks on camera but I shoot what gives me a good shot so I haven’t shot many good bucks.
Whatever gets the blood going! A buck is a buck!!
@@creekkings this year I had a nice 12 point on camera, than I shot a young buck thinking it was a doe. When I found it I was a little sad I had to put a buck tag on it but I was happy for the meat.
@@Minnesotalife Thats TOUGH! Never happened to us but its happened to a buddy of mine, he was so upset haha
@@creekkings it just hit shooting time but it rained all night & was still cloudy & darker than normal. It was a basket 6 point.
So you snaked your buddy on a deer you said wasn't big enough. Real stand up guy bud
Kyle told his friend that he could hunt him well before season even started. But his friend never even came up to Ohio... How many of your friends would allow you to shoot a 189" freak on a property you don't even own? I didn't think so haha
Great story i live in Ohio and i wish i could come up on a Buck like that!
Hunt long and hard enough and its bound to happen eventually haha
100% true ....I do a lot of turkey hunting got a nice turkey and had white feathers on its wings...Got it fully mounted and that is One of a kind...
@@billymace9151 that's basically a dream😳
All these jealous haters crack me up😂 what an awesome deer!! Congrats!
Thank you for the support 😎🤝
That deer would be 250 something inches if the other side match that is crazy
Insane….
Should of saved it for your friend since he was Eager and asking you if he can kill it
lol
Kyle told his friend that he could hunt him well before season even started. But his friend never even came up to Ohio...
dude says it’s dumb to sit on the ground but thinks taking 80 yards with a bow isn’t..
🤓
I thought it was E.D. the way his antler hangs
You’re telling me that deer grossed 189” and you are telling your buddy he is off limits because he has some growing to do?! Some people just go crazy over antlers.🤷♂️
Thanks for watching and the support! Good luck this season!
Sometimes you have to just shoot and tell everyone about it just like it’s been done for hundreds of years. Thanks for sharing.
Nothing like a good ole fashioned hunting story!! Thanks For the support!
Dang I wish he would’ve talked about his injury more! That broken leg looked gnarly! Maybe hit by a car? Either way the rack he grew was unbelievable! Awesome story
He was shot the year before and hit by a car! He had a rough 2020😂
You tell a friend not to shoot it then you go an hunt that buck lmao what a friend
His friend never even came up, and that buck was on Kyles property lol
Man that was your buddies buck. Can't believe you made him leave his trail cam there for so long when he wanted to move it. If you was a real hunter, you would have let him move his camera and put your own right there. Good deer though
Thanks for watching and the support and the feedback! Good luck this season!
No one’s gonna mention that one of the back legs is screwed up?
Hit by a car and was shot from the year before. Once Kyle saw the extent of his injuries paired with how big he really was in person, he had to shoot him.
Last season i shot a deer still had a tag that sobi saylt behind a huge wood pile. My fiance saw that spot never thought of sitting there, next day i go to my spot down the way and my fiance sat behind the wood pile. Nailed a great 8 pt that morning. Just a chair and a woodpile lol
What a prick for a friend!! With friends like that!!🤣
Thanks for watching!
You couldnt seriously believe you made the deer go nocturnal after one ground encounter ? Big bucks are smart but they if you 2 just looked at each other then there is no chance you scared him off.
If it had both sides,it would look like the Missouri buck
It kind of does!!
Ugly buck... Obviously wounded bad. That's why he grew the drop tines. Looks like he mangled his rack during velvet too... Leg injuries can cause drip tines... Probably hit by a car...
lot of extra inches on those sheds with the tape lolol
then to tell your buddy not to shoot a deer due to age structure, then give him the pass when he doesn't have time to hunt it? I can age a deer dang near off the first picture i get of him but it took you several days worth of pictures? Judging by your wall, you have some luck but this just doesnt sit well with me.
And referring to sitting on the ground like an "idiot" is pretty ignorant, considering MANY including myself have killed big, mature deer off the ground. Sounds like you may be the problem.
1.) It was officially scored by Buckmaster's lol
2.) How many of your friends would allow you to shoot a 189" freak on a property you don't even own? @ 4:31
3.) ground hunting is fine, but he was saying it wasn't the right place or time for it...
4.) Have a nice day man, you seem cool, I hope to see you supporting the channel in the future, sorry you didn't like his video!
Jesus all that build up and detailed explanation. The kill shot wasn't recorded.
Yeah Kyle had never filmed his hunts before. I think He just wanted to film him alive then afterwards came to us to record a story.
Harvesting deer, not hunting. Don’t confuse the two. Like raising tomatoes.
I have an interesting buck I’ve named lefty. The right side is turned down also.
Crazy how weird they grow sometimes!! Thanks for watching and the support! If you haven't already make sure you subscribe and stay tuned for this season ;)
