@@midnight347 lol i didnt know when i made this comment years ago my 4.0 had 4.10 gears its not like its alot faster but it does pull on an stock sn95 im talking the non pi not the new edge
This was just the video I needed to see. I recently picked up a clean totally stock 94GT off the original owner. It's been babied all its life and had never slept a night out of a garage until I bought it. (The seller actually choked when I said I didn't have a garage but I'd put it under a nice 3 sided carport .. lol) It's never been hot rodded, never been driven in winter or even used as a daily driver. Been basically an old man's summertime " lets go to the weekend car show" boy toy. Came with a stack of maintenance records since day 1 and just over a 100k miles on it ( I mean like 500 miles over). Been trying to decide whether to touch up it's minor flaws ( needs driver seat motor and window motor replaced and a recent hail dent popped out) and then sell it for twice my investment so I can buy a later model OR just keep it, dust off my old tool box, get an idea sheet going and then personalize it much like you did here.. I'm a 'retired' mechanic and had pretty much hung up my tools almost 10yrs ago simply because I was tired of fixing and building everyone else's ride and never had time to do my own. Well times not a problem these days and I've definitely got the right prospect to transform now; I just needed a good picture of something creative and interesting enough to motivate my lazy butt. Especially since I'd been told you couldn't really do much with these because of the on board computer. Well the decision has now been made.. so thanks.. first for posting the video .. and secondly for that motovational 'kick in the ass' that I needed too. lol
Yeah buddy, the 94-95 computer just doesn't do well with radical long duration camshafts. The E303 cam works great with the 94-95 computer, as it has quite a bit of lift but shorter duration that even the B303 cam. Don't let the keyboard warrior kids talk garbage about the Ford Racing cams. These goofballs read crap on UA-cam that the Ford Racing cams are "old tech" and they call them "letter cams and alphabet cams" and they just repeat what they read lol..... Nothing wrong with the "303" grinds. They are a single pattern grind compared to some of the newer dual pattern grinds is all. Plenty of old Ford Racing cams making over 300hp to the wheels with decent heads. The old NMRA guys were running amazing times with those cams. They are great for a decent and reliable street beast. Now if someone wants to make a drag car, certainly better cam grinds are available. Personally I love the E303, B303, F303 and X303 cams. Anyway, sounds like you scored one hell of a Mustang! Congrats on that!!!

Finally a 5.0 sn95 upgrade instead of the 4.6 Parts list? If 400 NA horsepower can be achieved with a tired 305 by just porting and upgraded heads (I’m sure there’s more minor stuff involved too) then I have zero doubts it can be done with this 5.0 with having nearly 70 horsepower more stock for stock. I believe it was PowerNation who showed that not only 400 N/A horsepower can be achieved, but it did more than expected at 415 WITH A JUNKER 305 SBC! Very under done build with your 5.0 congrats to achieving 300 NA horsepower club with just what you’ve done.
Nice! I've got a 94 with almost the same set up. I put different Gt40 heads 1994 Cobra intake, Comps cam extreme energy 272 duration, 83 mm mass a with a tuner and 3.90 gears. Automatic with shifter kit and the B&M Hammer shifter. Black Bullet rims from Ford Racing and Ford Racing Bullet fuel door. It will look like a Bullet after I paint it.
Anyone that has followed this channel through the years would know that I am an absolute sucker for SN95 model Mustangs! Check out Cesar's low buck budget build 1994 Mustang GT from Puerto Rico! His '94 GT has used parts like Windsor Jr heads, GT40 intake, E303 cam, full exhaust and 3.73 gears and it thumps out 290+hp at the wheels. Not bad for a $1,600 project! Cesar is a man after my own heart, because I am all about using factory performance parts and junkyard treasure hunting!
Mine has gt40x heads with 1.72rr F303 cam, long tube headers, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and 650 double pumper carb. Flat top pistons and a 302 punched out .040 over. Any idea on power? 300 to the wheels? Also has a c4 trans with a tci street fighter stall. 9 inch rear with posi trac loc
Mr Random Reviews The 5.0 pushrod engines are so much cheaper to build and there are more options for aftermarket parts. The 4.6 sohc engines just weren't power hungry engines. If I had a 4.6 it would be the dohc engine only. Those engines sound amazing!
I bought a '94 after watching your Zero the Hero build. Love it. Paid $2500 for 100k mi four owner car. Five speed, has 2.73's still unfortunately. Full bolt ons, headers, offroad x-pipe, dumps. Needs a few odds and ends but I hope to do a GT40 intake/head swap soon.
Your car sounds great! Nice stance too. FYI, I had a '95 into which I put a 351w with an E303 cam, GT40 heads, GT40 Lightening lower and SVO upper, 65mm TB, 75mm Pro-M meter for 24lb injectors, BBK CAI, full exhaust, and 373 gears; the stock computer handled all that just fine. It even passed emissions. Lastly, I added a chip from Bama performance and it made a night and day difference. It was the best mod I ever put on that car. Bottom line: those 94-95 ECUs can handle more than ppl think. Just make sure all your other sensors, etc are legit. Nice car!
They say the 94-95 mustang gt/Cobras have the worst computers ever. My brother has a full bolt on 95 mustang bbk long tube headers, bbk x pipe, bbk cold air intake, bbk 70mm throttle body, bbk pulleys, screaming demon big coil, msd rotor cap,8.8mm live wires, now he's just waiting to get the trick flow hci,but he's running the stock computer and I feel like that's holding back a lot of power even with all those bolt ons. Do you think the bama 4 bank eliminator chip works? Any advice would be great!
That chip is well worth the money, especially on a 94/95. It will even wake up a stock car. The BAMA chip was the best single upgrade I ever made to my '95. Just make sure you clean both sides of the J3 port on the ECM properly.
Yes. First you buy the chip, then select tunes for life (its free & you can retune for life at no charge, then BAMA sends you a link to input your current mods. At the bottom of the page you can type notes for the tuner.
+Joe Whiting did you notice a drastic change in the car? Also do the 3 custom tunes it already comes with work? Or does all that get over written with the custom tune based on your current mods?
Just bought a 1995 GT, only 44k miles and runs great, what a car. It has 4:10 gears (the speedometer is way off, LOL) and an Explorer intake. I notice that your engine shakes a bit at idle, mine happens to do the same. Maybe I have more mods that i'm not aware of? Or maybe the Explorer intake does that?
I don't know if you still have the car... I have an original Black with sports exhaust and BBK in the admission but it doesn't compare to yours that was very cool and fast. You have very good taste, congratulations!!
Nice little build I'll be doing Holley Systemmax head with tripple valvesprings, GT40 intake w/ 70mm throttle body, Compcams XE276 cam and 3.73 gears hoping to have a decently quick build
That's a great setup you got there. Just wondering how come you didn't go with the GT40p heads from the Explorer along with the GT40 intake from a junkyard. It would have saved you maybe up to $350. It's making good power, wondering if you have taken it to the track yet. I bet it can run 12.30's - 12.70's easy with a nice set of Mickey Thompson drag radials.
Thats a nice 94 gt!! I have a 94 gt myself but im selling it once i finally buy my terminator cobra at the end of the year. Man those parts were dirt cheap, car sounds nice too.
Those stripes, badges and spoiler need to go. Add a mach 1 chin spoiler and you've got a clean ride. Makes me sad that heads/cam/intake nets 290 wheel lol. That being said, that's about 340 hp at the crank and 3.73s is a fun set up and not bad for an engine designed in 1968 haha.
This is a budget setup tho if you had a good heads cam intake setup you could easily top 350-400 rwhp on stock bottom end depending how aggressive you went with it. But a setup like that the heads would cost more than his entire build did so it's all relevant. It isn't just about peak rwhp it would have a nice power curve and be very torquey for 5 liters and with a gear like 373 it would pull pretty solid on the street.
@@midnight347 yeah, I agree. These cars feel plenty fast with even 250 wheel. Plus the edelbrock heads are pretty torquey. If I had a 302 mustang I’d pretty much do the same thing. I may even just put a whole explorer top end set in it. I don’t really care about numbers anymore.
LMAO, so you can supercharge a GT and make it a Cobra, WOW, great thinking! Lets see here, Cobra's have over 200 differences, are hand built, come with a certificate from Ford motor company. Nice try.
how much power it puts down doesn't matter. it's a gt not a cobra...if u can afford to put that stuff on it, u can afford some gt badges to make it right. my 03 cobra has more power than some gt500s....doesn't mean I'm gonna put gt500 badges on it
I had a 95 GT 5.0 5 speed for one year. Full exhaust , cai and smog bump bypass. Pretty gutless compared to my LS1 & LT1 Camaros. Sure sounded good at low rpm through those magnaflows. Some cleaned up heads and a cam would've been a good idea along with a cobra intake..just had nothing above 4800 rpm compared to the f bodies
I mean it's down quite a few cubes has less compression and it had a mild setup in order to be torquey the extra cubes the gm engines had helped them to have that low torque without having to have a pretty much truck setup in the engine lol.
car sounds good bROTHER. gREAT jOB. Although i would of put in the B303 because I like the sound of a Aggressive Cam. Although beautiful Car and great sound.
Yeah the B303 is my favorite "sounding" cam too... but the 94-95 computers have a harder time with the more aggressive duration of the B303 cam compared to the shorter duration (but bigger lift) E303 cam.
I really want to hit 300 hp na on my 95 GT. This helps alot. Could i get the same result with gt40/gt40p heads or are the windsor heads that much better
Windsor Jr heads have more potential than GT40 / GT40p heads, but if built right you can match up the right parts and get 300hp with GT40 heads and well matched bolt-ons.
When you said stock computer did you get the car tuned or just still using the stock computer with no chip. Would also love to know what the base timing was on the car probably 12 degrees right?
Yeah the computer was untouched. The 94/95 car’s computers had issues with long duration camshafts, but he used Ford Racing’s E303 cam, which had just under .500 lift but had relatively mild duration, so the computer could manage it. These cars always ran decent with 12-15 degrees advanced timing. GM’s 5.0 and 5.7 Tuned Port Injected engines liked 12-15 degrees timing as well.
Wow... It's like I'm looking at my own damn car! Same color, just that mines is a 95. Just a year difference. No spoiler on mine either. Love these fucking cars!
Nah, apparently it's a GTS, something I had no idea existed. It's basically a GT without certain electronics/gadgets. No power windows, fog lights, cruise control or that useful button inside the glovebox that pops the truck... That one I wish I had again! Had a 98 v6 with one. Actually been a while since I posted my comment, glad to say that I recently sent out my car to get a Trickflow setup and tune. Hope it comes out as great as yours!
Maybe 200lbs more than LX models and maybe 100lbs more than GT models (give or take) ...all depending on options of course. An old buddy had a 1993 SVT Cobra that actually weighed more than my 1994 GT.
Only guys having issues with these cars are running radical or long duration camshafts. This car has the Ford Racing E303 cam which is "computer friendly" lol.
I'm not sure why you would recommend those mods because he has an E303 cam, which is just a good as a B303. The 24 lb injectors calibrated to his 76mm MAF sensor are a perfect match for that much power. Using 42 lb injectors on this setup, or even the setup you described would be completely wrong. At that power level the fuel atomization coming out of the 42's would make the fuel droplets way too large giving him severe drivability issues. If he decided to add a 150 shot of N2O 30 lb injectors might be needed if he used in dry kit, but not if he used a wet kit and he could keep the 24 lb injectors. IMO talking about doing a complete port job on a set of iron WindsorJr's isn't worth the money, especially considering he can buy a set of new TFS Street Heat Alum heads for just over $1000 that flow better, make more power, and weigh 40 pounds less. He could sell his Windsor Jr's for $500, a complete porting job on those iron heads with a valve job along with a valve job is going to be at least $500, buying the TFS heads would be a much better idea. What he really should have done if he was trying to save money was get a set of GT40P heads from the junkyard along with the Explorer GT40 intake that he has now. He would have to buy the GT40p specific shorty headers, I need advice aftermarket headers but he didn't buy aftermarket headers so he wouldn't have spent any extra money using those heads. He would have made about the same power, and saved up to $350. If he wanted more power selling the Windsor Jr's, and Explorer Intake the way they are, and buying the TFS heads, TFS Intake, and keeping the 24-pound injectors, 70mm TB, and 76mm MAF would give him another approximately 75 horsepower at the wheels.
***** Maybe you do not understand because you have not been alive as long as i have been working / tuning cars . That could be the reason . I built my first engine in 1989 .
If it was a stock GT I would understand, but this car makes more power than the same generation SVT Cobra so I so no issue with it and understand it totally. He could slap a Cobra front bumper on it and no one would know the difference because it would smoke a 93, 94 or 95 Cobra. For that matter it would smoke a 96-98 Cobra as well and actually a 99 and 01 Cobra too lol.
Hey, ive got a 95 cobra that has been acting up since ive canmed it. it has longtube headers as well and its running like a turd! do you burn chips for these cars??
What cam did you install? Might sound like a silly question but did the distributor go back in correct position and timed right? If the cam has aggressive duration it will give computer fits.
I dig the old school budget builds..... that's what hot-rodding is all about! Makes me love and respect the old school ways even more with 400+hp turn key factory cars, lol.

Michael Alvarado ever take it to the strip?
nice - ------95 gt 5 speed owner---got it new in 95 and still own it
Anyone that has followed this channel through the years would know that I am an absolute sucker for SN95 model Mustangs! Cesar is a man after my own heart, because I am all about using factory performance parts and junkyard treasure hunting!
nice car thanks for uploading
Thanks for watching!
9 inch rear with posi trac loc
i want a 94 but people keep telling me to get the 4.6 what do u suggest bro i would appreciate the input...i also subbed
That's awesome man!
@@nedaCFilms I now have a '97 Cobra 🐍
Nice Mustang, next mod should be a set of new motor mounts
Nice mustang! love the sound
+Joe Whiting did you have to send bama a list of your upgrades before getting the bama chip?
Nice build buddy! Continue to enjoy that clean roller 5.0 and ignore the hate
Love it ✌✌😉
Great!! I love 94-95 mustangs
SN95 Mustangs look absolutely amazing with Eibach Sportlines or coilovers with Cobra wheels stuffed up under them!
That is one great looking and sounding '94 GT...take it from a '97 Cobra owner.
could i could a build sheet ? i bought a 95 GTS with 40k miles. zero rust. perfect condition. i want a guideline to building mine.
Gotta love a healthy sounding budget build
Thats a badass mustang sound really nice
Sounds great, nice build!
I don't know if you still have the car...
I have an original Black with sports exhaust and BBK in the admission but it doesn't compare to yours that was very cool and fast.
You have very good taste, congratulations!!
from Puerto Rico, Ellis Machine!!!!!!!
Nice i have done the same thing, used windsor jrs, used f303, used eddy 2 intake, only new parts were rings and bearings all for $1200
Your exhaust is probably the best I have heard anywhere. H-pipe or X-pipe? Catted or no cats? What brand catback exhaust? Thanks!
Nice little build I'll be doing Holley Systemmax head with tripple valvesprings, GT40 intake w/ 70mm throttle body, Compcams XE276 cam and 3.73 gears hoping to have a decently quick build
It will be but with boost on top of that you will be taking out modern cars left and right lol. Be a wicked setup find a used centri.
nice car thanks for uploading.👍
Great looking, sounding car brother
That's a great setup you got there. Just wondering how come you didn't go with the GT40p heads from the Explorer along with the GT40 intake from a junkyard. It would have saved you maybe up to $350. It's making good power, wondering if you have taken it to the track yet. I bet it can run 12.30's - 12.70's easy with a nice set of Mickey Thompson drag radials.
he prolly already had the heads before he got the intake.
Thats a nice 94 gt!! I have a 94 gt myself but im selling it once i finally buy my terminator cobra at the end of the year. Man those parts were dirt cheap, car sounds nice too.
its awesome, I love it
I have always liked that color.
I would install 4.30 or 4.56 gears and that thing would be a blast screaming stoplight to stoplight.
Historic Town / Battle Town til you're turning 3 grand or more to go 65-70 lol
4.10 is better gives you take off and can go highway speeds.
With a 300hp AODE car with a lentech valvebody. Would you hang with new cars or is it slow?
this car is friggen awsome. sounds mean and looks good
why the hell would you put cobra badges on a gt?
Joey Bragg slap a supercharger on that car and it would be like having a cobra
Joey Bragg I agree with you, but I'm just sayin if there was one then maybe it would back up the badge on the car
LMAO, so you can supercharge a GT and make it a Cobra, WOW, great thinking! Lets see here, Cobra's have over 200 differences, are hand built, come with a certificate from Ford motor company. Nice try.
bought the car that way thanks for your positive comment and feedback jajaa a stock 1994 cobra does 240rwhp at best so relax about the emblem
how much power it puts down doesn't matter. it's a gt not a cobra...if u can afford to put that stuff on it, u can afford some gt badges to make it right. my 03 cobra has more power than some gt500s....doesn't mean I'm gonna put gt500 badges on it
Sweet car, thanks for sharing.
WHAT EXHAUST DO YOU HAVE? KILLER SOUND
Holy shit. I need one.. Wow
Love my black Gt but what I would do for a rio red one
RJB28STER lol I have a rio red and green one I love them both but the rio red looks amazing compared to other colors that's why i bought a race red 11
How does he have a stock tune on an E303 cam? Is it because he has 24ib injectors with a calibrated MAF?
nice setup sounds great
I Agree...But Of The Owner Is Happy Hey...I Am Happy For Him...
Hows the computer tuned on it? I have heard both good and horror stories about them.
You don't need to tune the computer with an E303 cam. It's the big duration cams that give these computers fits.
#MustangTown how bout f303?
Sweet ride! I'd do a little more tuning. I think with those mods you could probably coax out a few more horses.
I really like those rims. They look like the ones on that other 'Revolution' green Mustang. Does anyone know what kind of rims they are?
Steeda ultralites?
very nice s95 buddy👍
car sounds good bROTHER.
Beautiful car
Is the bottom end rebuild or you just put a cam and heads on the old engine
with a bigger cam like F 303 what type of computer mods are needed ? car is a 95 mustang ported e 7 heads , 4.56 gears t5 trans, cobra intake ect
What exhaust specifically do you have? And is it legal?
Nice build! Wish I could do that and daily it but it would never pass emissions where I'm from.
It might with an E303 cam and high flow catalyst
She sounds good
Next mls gaskets, arp head studs, a turbo kit and 8lbs with a good tune.
sounds really good
Does it start up no problems on the 1st try? I'm looking to do a similar build
Where you able to keep stock strut tower brace with that intake and did you use a spacer
yea it looks like you can still use the stock brace and probably no spacer if I had to guess
Did you Dyno it?
Wow... It's like I'm looking at my own damn car! Same color, just that mines is a 95. Just a year difference. No spoiler on mine either. Love these fucking cars!
Randy Jaramillo do you have v6 model that could be why no spoiler
Nah, apparently it's a GTS, something I had no idea existed. It's basically a GT without certain electronics/gadgets. No power windows, fog lights, cruise control or that useful button inside the glovebox that pops the truck... That one I wish I had again! Had a 98 v6 with one. Actually been a while since I posted my comment, glad to say that I recently sent out my car to get a Trickflow setup and tune. Hope it comes out as great as yours!
how much heavier are the sn95 compared to foxbodys badass car man cool video
The 1994-95 cars are between 3,200lbs and 3,300lbs (my '94 was 3,260lbs) and the 1996-98 cars are a little heavier than that.
Maybe 200lbs more than LX models and maybe 100lbs more than GT models (give or take) ...all depending on options of course. An old buddy had a 1993 SVT Cobra that actually weighed more than my 1994 GT.
+nedaCFilms / Mustang-Town oh right on very cool your like the Albert Einstein of mustangs bro lol
Jerry, not enough to make much of a difference lol
+TheKoppenhaffer no difference at all lol
I'm a sn95 sucker as well I'm either going to build up my sohc 4.6 and turbo it or dohc 4.6 swap it
That be easy to get to 300hp.. bump up the timing GT40 heads and intake, 36lb injectors..
lol killed me with the "air-conditioner" part
It's hot as hell in PR lol.
I wonder how much the injectors and fuel pump was alone
sick man! one day I'll get one! :D
**also how did you go about tuning it? I heard these cars are a pain to tune
Only guys having issues with these cars are running radical or long duration camshafts. This car has the Ford Racing E303 cam which is "computer friendly" lol.
Did you get it tuned or did you just leave it alone?
Nice ride bro
Cesar, can I ask how your exhaust is setup? Like the brand of mufflers and all? Thank You sir. It sounds great!
2 1/2 x pipe cat back with hooker muffler shorty headers
All you need is a b303 some porting of the heads and intake some 42 lbs injectors and a nice 150 shot .
***** 30#s is to small for a 150 dry shot . www.mustangandfords.com/project-vehicles/m5lp-0703-1993-ford-mustang-lx-nitrous-kit/
***** There is a show of a guy with a stock 190k bottom end b303 and a 175 shot doing high 8's in the quarter .
***** Maybe you do not understand because you have not been alive as long as i have been working / tuning cars . That could be the reason . I built my first engine in 1989 .
Helped work on cars starting in 1980
I feel like doing this to get more side ways on the track
mine had cobras when i bought it aswell, but im not a 12 year old who claims to have a cobra so i removed them just like any decent person
wow you must be joking ok could you tell me when in the video does anyone says it's a cobra? stop with the nonsense and get a life
do you know what is a sn95? do you even know how to read? what does the title say?😂😂😂😂
SMH! Big fricken deal!!!
Yeah I have a 5.7 RT but you don't see me slapping a SRT badge on my car because I don't have a 6.1 HEMI.
If the cam has aggressive duration it will give computer fits.
yes it did, i even replaced the dozzy just in case it was bad and still nothing.....
fun video. love it
I dig the old school budget builds..... that's what hot-rodding is all about! Makes me love and respect the old school ways even more with 400+hp turn key factory cars, lol.
Why do you have cobra badges on a GT?
Where are located I need some info nice car bro
What info do you need bud?
