Paul has properly stepped up the Aussie review game - no shit music, straight to the point, and well written scripts. Getting Aussie Carwow vibes... and not a bad thing. Cool channel.
Great video gentlemen! I am a newbie to your channel. Who would think that some Aussie presenters would be awesome enough with their content to snatch a bloke from New York like myself. Keep up the good work! I look forward to more of your reviews.
Great review guys I'm getting around 10L/100kms combined; down to 8 on highway. Piano black is fine ....if you touch it you will leave greasy prints; so I don't touch it. Easy There is a fair bit of glare from the centre console in the middle of a sunny day; too much IMHO but I can live with it Exhaust note is not something you would buy this car for; great engine that works well to move the weight of the S6. It is not an RS5 but not that far off in sporting ability. They share many aspects of their drivetrains. Compared to an RS5, it differs in that the S6 is extremely comfortable, passenger friendly and rides on air suspension. Great car to cruise in and out of the city every day. And you can make it go fast when you want to.
Hey Paul just remember conCAVE, like in a cave. Most car mirror is convex (or flat), unless they are inside the lamp to focus light. Or maybe the vanity mirror I guess?
I hope & pray “Sexy Mumma” doesn’t go hand in hand with your bearded mate’s photo Paul? 🤔 And yeah that exhaust was more like last night Tandoori chicken!🤭 Quite a subtle looking weapon😈👍🏼
Not a fan of the way Audi have positioned the sensors on the new models. There doesn’t seem to be many groundbreaking features that require the new sensors as the old ones were tucked away nicely and appear to offer similar safety features on many of the 2019 models.
Paul, would it be fair to say piano black could be polished back if scratched? Would that be why almost all manufactures use it? Not tried it myself but it seems like a surface that could be corrected if lightly scratched.
Hey Paul. I know you mentioned that this is better value than the m550i but is it worth upgrading based on the engines? (this having a V6 that having V8)
BMW are good when owned new. The maintenance costs are stuff of a nightmare. Stick to the Audi, not cheap compared to a Camry, but much affordable for a German car and great built and performance.
Remember the old days when black surrounds were base model material and you had to pay extra for colour coded? 😂 It’s a good looking car. Agreed that the alloys aren’t the best design. Interior looks good (is there options to the piano black?) but I still prefer physical buttons for climate etc so you’re not distracted while driving. You mentioned the car has a SIM card and there’s a port for ken, does that mean there’s two? One for personal data and one for car/emergency functions?
Those fingerprints and swirls 😫 that's why in my opinion, BMW's iDrive will always be superior and the best choice for me (it still has touch screen if you really need to use it that way).
You've got to get past the existence of SUV's - I'm probably going to end up with one for my next car because they don't make utes anymore. Before you say 'But.....the Ranger et al' - their trays are too short. If I could buy a two seater version with a covered seven foot tray, like my 2015 Holden ute, I would. But I can't. As I don't make a million bucks a year, I can't buy an RS6 Avant, so it is looking like a RAV4 (if they bring the PHEV to Australia) or the VW id.4 if it is long enough with the seats down. I have a few years for this to happen, so we'll see.
Diesel V6 eats this petrol in torque for breakfast likewise it also does with fuel economy which is massively better than what this petrol v6 does 14l/100 km is just stupid. Also, the diesel is also fast. Say what you want about the diesel V6 but I'd take the diesel over this petrol. 14l/100k is a total joke. If those kind of fuel numbers wouldn't bother me it means I have money to spare and in that case I'd buy the RS6.
Average speed 24km/h and 14l/100km. I'm sure diesel v6 will take similar in this average speed, I will not tell anything about dpf and others fantastic, ecological things what diesel has and what can happen with them moving slow
Great work Paul.. Shame this lost the V8. Worse yet is that shiney black plastic interior. Fingerprints and glare on everything. I don't consider that a luxury. The exterior looks nice simply because it hasn't fully adopted Audi's new new design language
Nice car but with around $50,000 of taxes (excluding the $5k dealer delivery charge too) on top of the MLP buyers in Australia are getting absolutely fleeced. Crazy when you stop and think about it, 50k tax for buying a bloody car! Absolute rort!
$168,000 car and Paul is pleased he gets the red paint for “free”. 😂😂😂

Thanks mate, appreciate it.
Yes!!
Piano black really is the stuff of nightmares 🥴 great video guys!
everybody complaints ,but car makers are deaf
It must be cheap to produce
Nice car. That exhuast at 19:24 sounds like me after a few too many burritos!
Hahhhahahahhahaah
Good job mate. Good to see a proper car review channel in Australia.
Thank you!
Which is a lot better than Carwow

Hey Paul ! When you have a chance, can you make a video like good budget cars or best car under $100k etc ? Cheers !
Hey Paul just remember conCAVE, like in a cave. Most car mirror is convex (or flat), unless they are inside the lamp to focus light. Or maybe the vanity mirror I guess?
Another great video Paul, thank you and this car is beautiful.
Looks plain and dated to me
This car should be compared with Kia Stinger GT. Should be interesting even though they dont compete in the same category
is it twice better for a price? I don't think so...
The S6 is a banger!
Audi meeting:
Ideas guys, I need ideas
Led lighting for seatbelts
Excellent. Give me more
Fun driving dynamics
You're fired
😅
*6:02** Sexy Mumma* ? 💀
He must just really love his mum 😆.
Love your vids keep it up love you
not a fan of the blacked out trim... beauty of a car though..
Those sensors on the front are definitely not “tucked away”!
I rented a corolla full of piano black, it was new car, after a few days the black was terrible, would hate to own a car long term with it !!
This piano black has been hated by many people and they keep using it
You should be able to allocate the Drive Select to the steering wheel * button so no need to reach for the Drive Select button.

Where in Australia was this filmed? The location is gorgeous.
did the brakes make a grunting noise when coming to a stop??
Nice on Paul.
Convex mirror mate!
petrol??? what a joke! 14 litres per 100km!!!!! and it needs the dearest fuel!!!!!
That's pathetic is it actually
@@HaultRxst yesss
You folks need to drive a M-Series and then you're gonna appreciate what Audi achieved.
@@TheNaddaeus I am sure it is a pretty good car....but the fuel usage is a joke

Great channel. Too many ads. Bye
Have you ever reviewed any of the Tesla's?
Love it, but maybe in a different colour!
I love it
14l / 100km ?! You cant get below? Cant imagine!
I have a RS3 367ps and i really use it like this an i have around 9.2-9.5l
5cyl!!! I wish we had that engine in this it would be an awesome daily.
"Concave" goes in, like a cave.
*Those exhaust pipes are horrible* 🤢🤢🤢
they’re pretty decent lol
they look nice tho

Oh and the mirror is convex. Easy way to remember is that concave is like a “cave”, it goes in instead of bulges “out” like convex (think of 💪 flex)
I found red cars the interior: cabin gets hot 🥵 looks wise Vg
That sounds quite nice for a recent Audi. But the fuel economy, wow, it is pretty bad for a V6. 14 can't be right.
They’ve probably done plenty of city driving
14 is a joke!
This is RS4 engine..stop complaining we have to have the diesel in Europe 🤣🤣
That's about right for a hi performance V6 .a golf r and subi wrx are about 10+ forget what official factory fuel consumption say
@@robertceroli3512 shame
I may buy one of these in the near future, but I'll get one with the steering wheel on the correct side.
Subscribed April 2022 ..
So Europe gets a diesel S6 while other markets get the V6 Petrol
Yes 👏👏
RS6 sedan review please 😁

Best sedan for the price on the market. I could put school book contact on the piano black.
Great car but the resale values of this, and A6s generally, is terrible.

@@Destroyah32 why do they use it in the RS6/RS7 then?
Blake Swan the volume of sales. There will be less RS6/7’s sold than S6/7’s

Same here!
Audi's current obsession with piano black has to stop. Just change it to dark wood, problem solved.
