Hi Everyone!!
If you are new to our channel, welcome! If you are one of our wonderful subscribers, welcome back and thank you for your continuous support and for keeping us on our toes!
Have you ever found a recipe that you just can’t get enough of? Well-this honey garlic pork is a dish that we have made over and over again-and we love it!
If you’re like us, and you love a sweet, sticky sauce that tastes too good to be true-then this recipe is for you. This dish tastes like something you would order from a restaurant! The great thing about making meals like this at home, is that you have total control of the ingredients you use which allows you to better manage your macros!
There are so many great ways to prepare this dish. If you are someone who tries to have one meal a day, then serving the pork in a lettuce cup with diced avocado, pickled cucumbers & radishes, and julienned cabbage would be a perfect way to enjoy this meal. Garnish with some cilantro and green onions and dig in!
In this video, we’re simply showing you how to caramelized the pork to perfection. We love a dish that takes less than an hour to prepare and hardly any cleanup!
We hope that you enjoy this recipe/video! Be creative with this dish and let us know if you try something different!
We will include a link for the ingredients we use which will direct you to our Amazon page. Ingredients:
1 tsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp avocado oil
16 oz ground pork
1/4 c yellow onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1-1/2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp red pepper flakes (we prefer chili paste but we ran out!)
2 Tbsp golden monk fruit or brown swerve
1 Tbsp confectioners swerve (we have also tried it with granular sweetener and either is fine)
1/4 tsp salt
**we also like to add ginger to ours
**green onions and cilantro for garnish
Directions:
Over high heat, drizzle 1 tsp sesame oil and 1 Tbsp avocado oil and allow the skillet to heat up. Next, add the onion and garlic. Let the garlic and onion cook for about two minutes before adding the pork. After adding the pork, break it up and add the soy sauce, balsamic vinegar and red pepper flakes (or chili paste). Give the pork a nice stir to mix all of the ingredients. Sprinkle 1/4 tsp of salt. Next, let the pork cook without stirring for about 2 minutes allowing the sauce to thicken. Give it a stir, then let it cook again without stirring for another 2 minutes. We like the pork and the sauce to be very sticky, so we repeated this about three times. Once the pork is caramelized to your liking, garnish, serve and enjoy! - Навчання та стиль

My new go-to filling for lettuce wraps! Thanks girls!!
Awesome idea!! ❤️❤️
Sounds really good. I think we will make lettuce wraps with this recipe. Thank you.
I can't wait to try this! It sounds really great. Years ago Weight Watchers had an oriental recipe that was served over finely shredded lettuce. I thought it was wonderful and have been doing it ever since.
Yes! I have a green bean recipe that is from WW from over a decade ago that is still a favorite today!
This is a Vietnamese dish. I use fish sauce in mine, which adds 1 gram carbohydrates to the whole dish and ginger and bird’s eye chilies.
Yes! I’ve come across many recipes that call for fish sauce but always seem to forget to add in to my basket when grocery shopping!
hello!! I have so missed you. Hope you and yours are well
This recipe looks great.
As ALWAYS lovw love love your videos. Your energy and positive vibes will always keep me coming back for more

Lisa! You said you messaged me but I couldn’t find it! This is our email KetointheCountry01@gmail.com
Oh my goodness! Who needs to eat out when there are meals like this!😳😳
Right?! ❤️
Something like Red Pepper Flakes really ought to say OPTIONAL because not everyone enjoys that kind of heat in their food. That said, this video gives me a great idea but maybe with a few alterations, nothing drastic, such as EVOO instead of avocado oil which I don't use. And I can't stand the taste of balsamic vinegar. I think it would be fine without any vinegar at all... but I know apple cider vinegar blends nicely into pork if using only a small amount. Lastly, I may try it with shredded pork from a Boston butt/pork shoulder instead of ground pork, although I'm sure ground pork would be just fine! Great video, thanks!!
Ok trying this and a little bit of sesame oil and boom Asian flare! Thanks for the recipe
Let us know how you like it!
My fingers can’t click fast enough---keto in the country w a new recipe!!!🤣😘
Can’t wait until you try it! Give us the result!
So, I asked my husband to take the pork out of the freezer, he took out pork chops and not ground pork 🤦♀️. I had no choice but to use the chops. Omg it was good, and I bet it would be even better with ground pork. Thank you again for all your recipes
😂😂😂. I can see your face when you realized he had taken the chops out. I’m glad it turned out well anyway!🤣
Keto in the Country omg. I thought I wasn’t going to make it work. Then I thought wth let’s roll with it!!
I made this today, and there is no mention in the directions of when to add the sweeteners, so I forgot them! It was still good, but I'll have to try again with the sweeteners!
Oh no! We’ll fix that! I’m so sorry! It’s so much better with the sweeteners. 😩
Oh my god you talk a LOT !!!!!!!!!! Next time make the video shorter
Nope. Talking is just what we do in our videos. Just keep scrolling.
