Yankum is the name, not the instructions. The correct amount of force to use on a recovery is the minimum amount of force required to do the recovery. I like to try as easy as I think will work, then try a little harder if it doesn’t

Casey . . . not only are your videos well done, I appreciate they way you do your recoveries. It's the simple things like the blocks at the end of the trailer to make loading and unloading smooth. A lot of recovery work finds folks in predicaments (stating the obvious); however, your disposition and quiet confidence brings a calm it seems. It's nice to see such professionalism with a young man. Thanks for taking the time to produce these.

Supper Happy to see you and your Dad! Safe travels Dad!
    And I have another Idea 💡 !!!
    Plexiglass or Lexon!
Take 1/4” thick stuff add some metal Brackets across the the wheel well openings, from frame to outer skin, start from either end. (Say the passenger side in this description) lay out from the rear forward, starting with the lip edge set up your first bracket horizontal (I’m thinking light gauge 3/4” Angle Iron.) go from the frame of the Jeep either to the outside and drill and rivet or 1/4”-20, bolt it with a fiber washer on the outside skin about 1” up from the bottom body lip.(options are numerous but in the military I grew to love the 1/4-20, #3 Phillips Pan head Screws, they look great if you have the time to spray paint them all black, or any other color and with a 3/4” diameter fender washers it can look very professional. Decide on a Spacing and keep it the same all the way forward to either just ahead of the front end of the rear fender, or go all the way, to the front fender and cover the entire Rocker panel)
That I’d guess would come out to close to 10’ by 10”-12”wide sheet of Lexon or Plexiglass, you can get plexiglass in smoke black, as I still have some from Projects from Years Ago. (My Dad worked for Detroit Public Schools and he had much experience with it, in replacement of glass windows in doors that got broken in the schools. Prior to 1985 FYI)
So once you have all your brackets (Braces ) in place you have use cardboard to make a template for your plexiglass. Heating and bending plexiglass Is a complicated situation that takes time, not a job to be rushed at! Don’t over cut your size to small particularly with the size of the bends. And don’t forget do not drill any fastener holes until you are done with bending maybe two for a start and use body trim push pins, like ones from Chrysler products that have a Philips head that you can push in through the plexiglass and the flat side of the braces. Then the Philips head allows you to remove them easily. You have your lights already mounted and as long as you have the tracks on your Jeep, the risk of any thing traveling (normal Suspension travel) into your wheel well is minimal. The light will shine bright through clear plexiglass and the snow if it sticks can be easily brushed off by hand or scraping. Careful with the scratches it cuts down on light transmission through the plexiglass! Be sure to paint and seal any exposed metal including the Angle-Iron, added bonus in states that have salt used in winter, it keeps the Green Meanies away from your Wiring and salt away from your frame and Body underneath!😅
    Happy Hump Day!

Casey, you are such a gentleman. I am too judgmental I guess. One of the first things I would say to some of these people who get themselves in deep stuff like this is "What were you thinking" to go out in snow, no chains or snow tires--or off the roads. Even more so on those rescues you do when people drive past the road closed signs.
