So now for the official rules and whatnot..
If this channel hits 500k subscribers by February 1st of 2025, I will give away my Ultimate Adventure Blazer to one of my subscribers.

That's it! That's all it takes to enter, with no surprises, no catches, and no requirement to buy my merch or any of that other nonsense! It really is that simple.
After 7 days of the video being live we will scroll through the comments and randomly pick one. It won't be based off of what the comment says, how much you say you want to win, or anything like that. You can comment whatever you want, even a simple period, and we will randomly pick one.
If you win the Blazer will be yours! You will be responsible for delivery or pickup of the Blazer, any taxes due in your state, registration, insurance, and any other costs associated with registering it into your name just as if you were to buy any other vehicle, but with the benefit of not having to buy it! If you are unable to receive the Blazer for any reason, a re draw where we will pick a new winner. Good luck and click that subscribe button!

Camera man asking questions is actually really helpful, please keep that up as the nuance of each action isn’t obvious
Better than Casey jabbering on and having one sided arguments with comments that haven't been made yet.
@ right!? “I know what you’re gonna say let me tell you why you’re an idiot”
Well one might deduce that the there was quite the deluge of idiotic people spouting similar sounding nonsense for quite some time that he (Casey) pretty much knows what those lunatics are going to say before they even think it themselves...😂
@patriciasmith4800 case in point
Yes.
Btw, it's Alex.
Didn't get introduced by Casey in this video, maybe because he's quite a regular on this channel. Or, Casey simply forgot to.
Casey, thank you so much for just simple videos! No stupid intros. This is not network tv we don’t need intro graphics and stuff. So thanks. 👍
Agree........
I disagree i need Mike Rowe narrating "coming up Casey battles a semi trailer stuck in a ditch on this episode of Cascade rescue"
Second
Nice work, Casey.
Also, the sorts of questions the camera slinger is asking and your answers are informative, thank you.
These 2dip -shots don’t have a clue what is going on 🐐🐐💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩
Oke, plenty of drivers over here (Netherlands, northwestern Europe) who don’t speak an adequate amount of English - as they drive to us from all countries around here. But the number in your recent videos, of people who can’t communicate with you, is astonishing.
And the drivers here (same as you) even have several options for languages....and some don't speak any of them at all (Dutch, German and/or English....if you are lucky even French)
But, we do have good translation services, even if they likely cost money (the police use them all the time)
You’d be surprised with how many don’t speak English here too. At least to a good standard you’d expect. I understand with the Mexican drivers that bring stuff to the border towns in the American side but the amount of drivers working for American carriers who don’t speak English is astounding and dangerous. You understand why trucking in America has taken a huge downward spiral in recent years
Don't speak English and can't drive a truck either
As a firefighter, I see a ton of clueless truckers that can’t speak English or read a map to make their own detour around a crash site.
Illegal immigrants.
EMT here in central Oregon. I always look out for your trucks when I’m on the road in the ambulance. I’ve had many close calls when it gets icy here, and have responded to lots of MVAs in the winter time especially. Stay safe out there!
Your recovery prowes is becoming a thing of UA-cam legend. The way you see the recovery in your head before even starting the process is quite impressive to say the least..
I’m addicted to following - or trying to follow… - Casey’s reasoning, ever since this video: ua-cam.com/video/80KfPE9OuKw/v-deo.htmlsi=z_UmNfvNBWXwnDmi
I agree and with less tools and options than most European recovery trucks have.
Making out a work plan in ones head before starting the manual labor usually makes the job more hasslefree.
I am still amazed by the amount of work that the Zack Lift is capable of doing, and I'm not sure how close the Max has been approached.
The right tools and equipment in the hands of a very capable operator can do amazing work that is neat to watch happen.
Pick and swing sounds like a square dance move...but it sure got the job done nicely.
Sounds like a fruitful Saturday night!
Casey, walking away from camera, dragging chains along the road - definite Ghost of Christmas Past vibes! 😂
There´s something for next halloween. Casey driving around at midnight dragging chains along the road.
382k today, makes me happy to see that number climbing every time.
and already 383K 3 hours later
384K 11 hours later.
2 years ago he was at 35 or 60 k
385k now
Both of your last 2 pulls the driver's don't have enough experience. I drove big rigs for over 30 years and never had any problems. You have think ahead always.
Casey - you are amazing in what you can do, the rescue puzzles you can solve and the heavy wrecker lifting of graders and 18 wheelers. etc. that you can do. Keep up the great work!
I could tell he's a professional truck driver by the flipflops he was wearing
And doesn't know what he is hauling or how heavy... Sad...
Why in the world would you want to be the first, all these people coming in getting their CDL’s that can’t heard a bunch of friggin 🐐 9:17
It amazes me the amount of truck drivers that wear slippers or sandals. Even this guy is in like slip on shoes. 😂
on todays episode of some people shouldn't be allowed to have a CDL!?
Ya, he put that in there like he was driving a pickup.
Apparently didn’t look before 😏
Seems to me it would’ve been smarter to drive past and for the driver to back up.
I thought English proficiency was a CDL requirement?
@@davechattoe9144 He charged the company for the recovery and the company stiffed him on the bill. The place the truck was delivering to paid it so Casey wasn't out for the job he did. (as read in a different comment thread)
you two have good chemistry chill questions and answers and you keeping him safe and explaining why to get out of the way is all good stuff with no preachyness
Low pay drivers, no skills: waiting for trouble to happen. A blessing for tow companies.
All of them work visas they be given out! I used to work at a chemical facility, loading, every time I get a foreigner with a truck… half of what they bring shouldn’t even be legally allowed on the road!!
They don’t know English, they get mad and don’t know how to communicate, they want you to do illegal maneuvers to load their trucks.
Trees... If I wasnt seeing it, I'd never believe that's where trucks come from. Now would they be a fruit, a berry, or a nut??
"Learning all the time" - Benny Hill 😁👍🏼🇨🇦
Such a Canuck. 😁
I’d say a nut. Judging from the “skills” exhibited by the semi driver.
THATS A "CALIFORNIA PINION,NUT ,FRUIT,FLAKES TREE" THE "MEAT" OF THIS TREE IS SO ENTICING THAT THE GPS MODULE "LOCATES " IT AS "FRIDAY MAMMA'S HOUSE
Nut!
HaHaHa. Love the fact that you left in that subtle hint about what's to come in the future.
Don't worry, your secret is safe with the few of us who caught it hahaha.
By any chance you're referring to the red western star that he recently showed in a short, right? Although "knowing" Casey's sense of humor, he might be trying to play a joke on us in his style, hahaha
@JavierFernandez-bq5ks HaHa that along with the fact his Camera Man said it at the end of this video.
Although I know Casey could have something up his sleeve, maybe not "purchasing" a new WS truck but maybe they have a new truck they want him to Demo and Test for a few months and let him use it in the real world. And the fact the one before was RED..... it sure would match that ZackLift really well. HaHa.
@@_DJ708 Chassis length/leverage issue.
Casey is the perfect blend of experience, talent and imagination.
Casey, it's nice to see how well you handle your unique situations as you do various recoveries.
Greatly appreciate the questions the cameraman was asking, gives us a better understanding of what’s going through his head
As many of your videos that I have watched, Casey, I figure at 77 that I will be starting my own trucking company at 80...Gramma Truckiing! One of your biggest fans!
❤
The zacklift is one bada$$ truck. I was watching back when you first got it and was transforming into what it is. 👍
Casey, no fuss, no muss, just a job done promptly, safely, by a man that clam's that "I don't know what I am doing". It is plane to see that you do know what you are doing, and are very good at it. Thanks for posting!
We all have bad days just glad you helping people out don't give up the great work might give you a hard time but you are a blessing to people and thank you for your time God bless you
I have only seen Rotators do this sort of lift
thank you for showing how a stick boom does it
Hi, I liked it when you asked how to say STOP in Spanish. That question was great😊, because it is simply said... ALTO or PARA.,Blessings, good video, friend.
I hadn't watched in a while. This was an excellent video. Direct, to the point with no algorithm inspired extension. I am going to watch consistently again. Thanks for this ENTERTAINING video !
So Wise , Thank You . Another fine example of wisdom and experience in Action
In a future episode.. "I bought a rotator!" Would have made this one a piece of cake. However, skill and good decision making are in full effect here!
The price tag associated with a rotator is the issue and you don't need a rotator for most Jobs. I agree it would have been nice for this job but it also would have been a little overkill
Love the sound of your on stops tinkeling over the asphalt ❤😂.
The sound of preparedness and joy of snow
Rhythmic blinking lights hypnotized me…I will obey 😎
Haven't even watched the entire video yet but I'm internally screaming--look out for those electric lines above the box!! There must be a huge difference in perspective that isn't caught by the camera because they look like they're right on top there. Nice work, as usual!
I still can't get passed the footwear some of the tractor trailer drivers you rescue are wearing.
What'd I miss?? I'm going to have to watch again...
Noticed that immediately, too. Though it does not come as a surprise, decisions in footwear usually go hand in hand with decisions that place you in situations that require recovery. LOL
I see that all the time…usually Crocs and pajama pants. lol.
I wear boots, but it looked like that guy is wearing house slippers. Every load I hauled had the weights on the BOL. You have to know your weight to set your tandems. Wtf
Some foot gear defo no for work must be a new illegal thing😅
Casey, Very Cool and Impressive Work
Thanx for sharing your experience and knowledge Have your 👍 business
Have a Great Day 👍
I like your new strobes on top of your cab. Very nice
Casey the star is outa the bag already. It's pretty . And I was yelling watch the tree limb and overhead wires on this one .😮😮😊
Language barrier is becoming a serious problem with truck drivers nowadays. As for the hydraulic legs at the back of the Zacklift, they are not outriggers, because those would extend out from the side, like a rotator or crane. Basically they are “stiff legs”, but they are “spades” when the foot is pointing down and the teeth are digging in, instead of the big flat pad stabilizing everything. Pad flat, stiff leg, pad digging in, spade.
As a truck driver, I have seen first hand experience of this problem. Shipper had to call the carrier to translate everything just to tell the driver his load was messed up and not getting it. The law states that they MUST read English for safety reasons, they need to be able to read signs. It is a actual CDL requirement.
@@techwolflupindo I told a guy at work this and he flat out thought I was lying... had to pull it up on the Gov website. We got nonEnglish speakers 3-4x a week... Google translate was our only hope.
To quote another channel: "Swing wide, it's a friggin' trailer!" Great job, no damage, no injuries. Everybody goes home. Keep 'em comin' Casey.
Idk where you got the camera guy for this video but you can tell he wants to learn. Idk if they are a one time thing or will become more of a regular thing but its nice to find someone who WANTS to learn.
Plan for the worst, hope for the best. In this case, as soon as you initially lifted it and saw how quick it came up, your hopes were fulfilled! Nice to see Alex along for a ride - and he didn't even stumble or fall!
Happy New Year, Casey and Alex. Thanks for the video and good job.
I kept getting distracted by the two people standing in the property the stuck truck was turning into. That would be me in that situation, except I would get a chair and a hot beverage.
If you can’t make that turn in a truck, you shouldn’t be driving yet. I really appreciate how you help people. But inept people should get to pay! Nice work as always.
Whostar, whatstar and the whaterbuilt...😂😂😂
In my 20 yrs of driving a semi I've had my fair share of ride in tow trucks due to crappy equipment. All the ones I've dealt with have rotating booms and extremely nice probably over 300,000 easily. Oh and i even got to drive one 1/4 mile so the tow truck driver could make sure my tires were rolling since my driveshaft decided to break free. This man has a pretty basic truck and i will say that its interesting to watch.
Your intro should have been... "Soo, yea....ya can't park there!" 😂😂😂😂
Happy New Year to you and your family, as well as everyone else! 🎉 🇺🇸 🍻 🤘🏻 😎
I like the way that once you saw it was fairly light you still played it safe and did multiple lift and pull. I'm sure there are many out there that would have short cutted it.
Casey nice job ! Those yankum rops pick that trailer up like it was nothing !
I drove OTR for 20 years, and it never ceases to amaze me the jams some people get themselves into. It's OBVIOUS theyre perfeshunul forun dribers, cuz they be wayrin flip flops.
Secrets just before the end 😂
Nice when it's lighter than expected, and goes really well!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Keep up with the good work love watching your videos on UA-cam God bless an have a good new year
Just started watching your videos. It's awesome that you do this for free, which is why I subscribed to your channel. Wish more utubers were like you.
This one was not free
Camera man asked questions I was wondering, nice job 👍
Thanks for the video Casey L . And Have happy new Year 2025 . Job Wel Done .
STOP = ALTO. I would say ALTO VATO!!! That is just me; you may not want to go that far. It's not a bad word, though. I love it when an easy deal comes together. Atta boy badge coming your way recovery man!! I am a Gringo but worked alongside Mexicans all my life and wouldn't have it any other way.
Swing wide! Its a friggin trailer. 😄
Shame on the mess. 😉
Even swinging wide, he still wouldn't have made it. He needed to go turn around and go in from the other direction.
Great Start to 2025. Good thing there was basically zero traffic on that road.
Having not been involved with heavy towing or driving trucks for forty years I still think I'd have made that turn or gone down the road , turned around and gone in from the other direction. As for that driver's skill level all I can say is ... Wow !
Quick and easy, but good to be cautious initially with an unknown weight.
Very nice boom recovery!!!! We dont need million dollar rotators.
I'm always amazed how trees and posts (especially the bright yellow ones) jump out in front of trucks all the time. PS some top secret info just slipped out. But then again wasn't there a short on it ? Thanks Mr C. More pleeeeeeeeeeeeease .
Yeah but nobody watches my shorts 😂

@@CaseyLaDelle Hi. I'm nobody. Glad to meet you.
Excellent presentation. Thank you. This was a great one.
Casey: If you wish to know what the weight on the trailer is just ask the driver to see his papers. Types of shipping papers used may be bills of lading, invoices, manifests, or plain paper. Those papers will have the cargo weight listed on them. Great show! That driveway was not designed for tractor trailer access. Happy New Year! A former Crown Food driver, Curtis
Wish the papers had real weights, as a receiver I frequently had loads come in where the real weight and paper weight were two vastly different things. 56 cases of canned pears weigh more than 600 pounds. They had that billed weight for two years, we all complained (drivers and warehouse) shipper told us to deal with it. Had one load come on two trucks because the driver went across a scale on his own and refused to take the overweight trip. Dispatch called him to fire him in our parking lot after delivery.
Unfortunately the regulators are looking in the wrong places.
Driver's "OH SHIT" moment!! LOL!! Another nice job, Casey! Always enjoy watching you work!!
Your camera man did a very nice job filming.
I’m digging the retro rotating lights. They remind of Tripp lights from the early 80s. Great recovery.
Apparently the super professional, flip flop wearing, forgot to swing wide, it's a friggin trailer , truck drvier can't read in english either. The bill of lading tells you the estimated weight of the cargo... My question is, if it took all that to get him into that property, how is he getting out?
EXACTLY!!
Nice recovery video before I have to go in to work. Hope everyone's day goes well.
Really enjoy your videos received one of you hoodies for Christmas from my son. Keep the videos coming thanks for the enjoyment you give
I came to this channel due to the Track Jeep recoveries (and now you have 2 tracked vehicles), but I love the ZachLift recoveries just as much if not more! Happy Healthy and Prosperous New Year Casey, Carina, and Riley!!! 🎉. Also, fantastic camera work and good questions asked about what you are doing!!!!
I seen a massive buck at 3:40 behind the mailbox i think
Just saw it myself 😂👍
Good job. No two jobs are the same.... different ways of handling it, but the bottom line is truck out load saved and nobody injured...
16 pallets would have all the weight in the front 2/3rds of the trailer… someone needs to teach whoever was driving how to do a j turn, one of the many signs of an untrained inexperienced driver is they have zero idea of where the trailer is gonna track or any idea of where it actually is since most focus straight ahead and never look back. That power pole ain’t in an ideal spot but there was still way more than enough room to make that corner, folks need to slow down (way down) and think things thru before they do them
One of the hay farms out in the Oregon Outback had another of the box vans from California drop the trailer off into the ditch. I think that they got it out with a hay squeeze and a tractor. I don't think that driver knew much English either.
Nice recovery. Love to watch you do stuff with the ZackLift. Happy New Year 🎉
Good morning Casey I could be wrong about this. Aren't truck drivers suppose to know the height and weight of there trailer when they are driving? That way they can avoid accidents by going over bridges or something being to heavy or to tall.
It would always be a good idea. Some companies even have the height stencilled on the trailer. Now you know that's only app. height as 5th wheels have differing heights. But a good guestimate is always handy. As far as weight goes it "should" be included on his manifest.
The weight is on the bill of lading. The bill of lading is required for them to be in compliance with FMCSA Regulations. Where’s the DOT when you need them?😊😊😊
Also if they got stopped by the DOT that truck wouldn’t be going anywhere until there was an operator fluent in English.
As part of us taking a stand, we designed this shirt to spread the message. SWING WIDE IT'S A FRIGGEN TRAILER! Cuz some people need to be reminded!
My favorite UA-camr I love what you do. I love how you help people.
They should have a bill of lading with the load stating the weight and commodity.
You would think.
Plan for the worst hope for the best, a fantastic teaching moment, Happy New Year Casey hope you and your family have the best year you can in 2025.
"Alto!" is how you say "Stop!".
Or "Stopo" is the spanglish slang version.
Aww but for a rotator! Great job Casey! You make it look easy!
Salut Casey!!
Love to watch that big wrecker work.
It's against FMCSA regulations to not be able to read and converse in English. California DOT is the worst offender at ignoring this regulation and the whole industry suffers from it
We all know but there is more and more non English speaking drivers out here daily. And they are the cause of many of the truck wrecks out here.
You are correct Illinois new York bad to hell in Illinois they give them an interpreter I've been out here 20 yrs own 3 trucks gets worse every year
Truck may be registered in Canada or Mexico.
Trailer tag looks like "California" script in blue
So most of the population in US are breaking the low every day 😅 (even if born there)
We had ice and blizzards. Warnings were posted for SEVERAL days in advance. My husband was headed home from work as an essential energy delivery driver diring the blizzard. He came across 3 different cars in ditches, stopping to check on them. No injuries. ALL were foreigners, and NONE spoke English. He thought that if they cant even bother to learn or read English, to understand weather warnings, theyre on their own, and can figure it out.
How do these foreign drivers pass a CDL test if they can not speak English?
Because states like California ignore federal law.
Because they are allowed to take the test in their language! And I this that needs to change!
Thank you sir for teaching me something new o want to get some tow trucks and you videos are helping me
There is a strange world of trucking just outside
of Casey's property line. Let's give him a new puzzle to solve.
You and the Zack lift made it look so easy ❤ Happy New Year 🎉
Enquiring minds are curious if they made it back out after drop lol Happy New Year
I was thinking the same thing. Did Casey get a call back when they left?
I was wondering if he hung around to drive the truck back out onto the road for him.
Great recovery Casey. Oh, your lookin at a Western Star Dump truck🤣🤙😎
WOW ! Terrible truck driver , maybe his trucker slippers got confused and hit the wrong pedal. LOL
That zacklift is always impressive to watch move stuff like its nothing.
Now you need a rotator too....😊
I've been thinking that for a while, but how often would it be used, given the actual use Casey gets from each of his current fleet?
A detachable rotator unit. Not sure if they make it yet though.
Yep, exactly what I was thinking when I saw the predicament that truck was in
@@jakevogt295 I'm not sure if rotator and detachable are a combination that makes sense.
it wouldn't be detachable so he'd lose the flexibility of using the truck with a regular trailer and load on it, also the price is multiple of this Zacklift + tractor unit combo, so I can't see it happening any time soon or ever
Never a dull day for you - what s next? for use something to learn .
Well, they got where they were going, but I wonder how they're going to get out or is there another way out ?
If you can drive in you can back out. Well, maybe not that guy.
