Last night was he first time I listened to this, just found it. Slept like a log...I am enjoying the sounds, love the sound of water, but your intro is waaaay tooooo loooong!!!
The only thing that “stops” my tinnitus is to ignore it. It doesn’t actually go away. Sound merely helps me ignore the loud screeching, so I have the illusion I don’t hear the tinnitus. I can go several days at a time and never hear it until something reminds me I have it or I’m in a totally quiet room. Right now, it won’t go away because I’m thinking about tinnitus.
Mine is similar in that I can ignore it and forget that I have it, but when I take meds for sinus, it can suddenly start "screaming " at me. It can sometimes increase in volume making it harder to ignore. However, this water sound does seem to bring that volume back down to where I can go on ignoring it again.
It helps a bit to calm me down while listening. But since some days the screetching became so loud that t's impossible to ignore it in silence and it disturbs my sleep so bad... i wish I'd know why it increased and only wish it decreases again.

Playing this sound made me instantly relax and feel relief. It's amazing the tension we walk around with and don't realise it. I'm 7 years into tinnitus. Had a bad time in the first 6 months, then fully habituated naturally years ago. Never ever bothered me. Flare up before Xmas still there but this time I know I'll be fine so not panicking just working on improving it and waiting for my body to do it's thing.
Oh my.....this is amazing! Most times I can tune it out to a softer level....yes the tinnitus is still there but not as noticeable. Sadly my health has taken a turn and I also deal with anxiety so the tinnitus has has been harder to control. This water running is perfect and also takes down the anxiety. Tinnitus is a beast, can't out it but this sound sure slows it down. I am glad I stumbled across it.
My tinnitus is a high pitch, perhaps 8000 Hz. The running water is very relaxing but did not mask my tinnitus. I get better result with a violet noise pitch, which is a higher pitch.
I love the sound of running water, and this soundtrack is a good one. It takes me back in time to the days of my youth, hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. However as an older man I must exercise caution, this wonderful sound at night adds to my trips to the call of nature.
I just recently developed pretty bad tinnitus. Seems like these sounds sort of have the opposite effect for me. My tinnitus tends to sound like high pitched crickets--not a pure ringing tone. Listening to crickets, waterfalls, etc, at first masks the tinnitus, but the tinnitus actually gets louder as I listen. Eventually, I can hear it clearly over the masking noises. This happens regardless of whether I'm "concentrating" on it. I have discovered that deep bassy noise ("ear cupping" ASMR, for example) while not covering it up, somehow helps it dimish... so after a while of listening, then taking off my headphones, I may not notice the tinnitus for a while, or even if I concentrate on it, it is so faint I'm not sure if it is still there.
I've got high pitched crickets too. My ENT told me earphones can make it worse for some people and to use sound that is further away from my ears. At night so I don't wake my partner if I wake up and it's loud I use an audio book on a ten minute timer to distract me as I fall asleep.
I have the high pitched cricket/ringing in right ear. This particular bubbly noise with whooshing sound like my clothes in washing machine does help me. I have to use headphones and turn sound all the way up!! HOWEVER, I find if I’m listening to a calm soothing guided meditation helps me more. I focus on the calm soothing voice and totally focus on guided meditation plus my breathing, I soon forget the incessant high ringing and actually fall asleep.
@@oakherder17yes, I too find listening to an audio book or a guided meditation that uses very descriptive calming walks a long the beach or a trail in nature helps so much….I really focus on the calm soothing voice/sounds and before I know it I’m asleep 😉
Water noise does help sometimes. What I found most helpful though is the high pitched sound made by a running refrigerator or freezer. Mine is high pitched and I find my mind blending it in with the fridge noise and then tuning it right out. Had TN 13 years after an emotional trauma. God bless all of you on this journey to find peace.
The best 7 hours straight of quality sleep in a million years! Thank you so much! I'm going to play this again tonight 😊 For over 11 years I've suffered from tinnitus, insomnia, sleep apnea, and chronic pain. ADD and anxiety for much longer 😅 Getting any amount of quality sleep is rare. Last night I was watching yt vids on tinnitus while my ears were ringing very loudly (like now). I put this on at 2:30am. I was asleep in less than 10m. I slept for 7 hours straight! Before this, I was doing a yoga nidra I've done before, and my mind kept wandering. I usually do breathing exercises whenever I need to settle my mind, or when the ringing is overwhelming. I approve message, and the video!
1 second ago 😔 I've been suffering for months literally months if not longer.. I loss my hearing a few years back to the point ppl have to speak loud in order for me to hear them.. I found thst running my bath water helped but I never understood what I was suffering from .. I keep hearing buzzing sounds 24 7 it has taken over my life in a horrible way.. 😫 The sleep pattern is horrible I mean it's 3am & I'm here 😔 I'm turning 42 tomorrow && I sincerely just want my life back.. So I'm trying anything to help... Thanks for this because I can't hardly hear the buzzing so I'm hoping I can fall asleep 🥹 I'll update once I do... I wish there was something during the day when I'm outside ect.. This high pitch buzzing sound is extremely irritating 😑 I feel like I don't belong to this world anymore 😭😫
This one is definitely soothing. Encouraging and enriching relaxing the sounds in the head and ears. One of my favorite. Can listen to this one all day.
This is one of the best. It works to soothe my bruised brain. Tinnitus would come and go for a long time, but now it never goes away. I have blamed it on my ADHD meds for years. When I retired, I was able to stop taking them, but it did not help. My quality of life continues to suffer more and more. I hardly leave the house anymore. I keep thinking that someday it will get better, to stay positive, but it is hard when you're exhausted all the time. This track gives me hope. I just need to find a way to keep it playing during the day too.
We're so glad to hear you found relief with this video. You can purchase Shokz bluetooth bone conduction headphones to stream this sound during the day time too. Stay consistent with using the sound therapy below the volume of your tinnitus. We wish you continued relief in your habituation journey!
LOVE THIS. The sound of crackling fire works well too. I have nature sounds playing all over my apartment whenever I’m not watching TV or listening to music. I have them on my EarPods too. Babbling brooks, fire in a fire place, crickets, rain all help for me. The secret is to play the sounds quietly so they are real background. I sleep with them too. Thanks for this one. Adding it to my list!
Aubrey, I’m new to tintinus, it’s been about 1 month that I’ve been dealing with it, I’m completely lost on how to deal with it and what to do. Do you listen to this on your iPad, phone, etc, at night do you use headphones or what? Thank you
@@BlingyBea I’m so sorry you’re dealing with it. If you focus on it, it can be maddening. I’ve had it for so long it is now a natural part of my life and thankfully I’ve learned to ignore it. That said, I have worked purposefully to manage it. It depends on the situation. I live in the city so it’s rare for me to be in completely silence. When I am in quiet spaces, I have speakers in my apartment. I play nature sounds, running water, fire cracking and tinnitus background playlists that resonate around the frequency of my tinnitus. I play them SOFTLY, not too loud. I play the sounds on my iPods quietly when I read or work in quiet places. There is also an option to play background noise on AirPods. I don’t use that feature. I hope that’s helpful. It is a journey. Sending you love, blessings and resilience! ❤❤❤
@@TheAubreyLynch Thank you for commenting back to me. It really bothers me when it’s quiet, like right before I go to bed or if I’m just sitting down. I’m usually on my iPad with my ear phones on to help me not concentrate on the noise. When I’m out and about I guess the outside noise blocks the ringing where I don’t hear it and I pray yeah it’s gone but no it’s not. What’s been hard for me is that I’ve been wearing ear plugs for the last 20 something years to block out noise and now I can’t use them and have to get use to noise, I have a fan on and try to make myself listen to that instead of the noise in my ear. I have downloaded some of those sounds, I’ll hopefully find one that works for me and try running water on the rocks, when I run my water faucet I do notice that it helps mask it. I’m still trying to learn to ignore it but I guess that comes with time. Bless you for being so kind and giving me some advice on how you have learned to deal with it.🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hey Dr Ben… My tinnitus has been with me for decades. I appreciate anything that helps to cope. I would offer one suggestion that would help with the continuity of your video: there are software for seamless editing - especially in a video such as yours - to merge audio segments into one smooth track, without any pauses, or breaks. That is the only criticism I have. Those “pauses” in the audio are like getting poked while meditating. Thank you for your efforts to help!
Because of my tinnitus, I have the ability to ignore sounds that would drive others crazy. That's how I've lived with extremely loud tinnitus for almost 50 years. After a few minutes of listening to the flowing water, my mind blocks it out. No change whatsoever in my tinnitus.
I will try this tonight. I like how you fade out the image for sleep. Thank you so much - I can't begin to tell you how much your videos have helped me.
It very much helps mask the sound. However, I can still feel the tinnitus if that makes sense. I've had it all of my life. I struggled for years trying to explain the ringing, buzzing electricity in my head to my family. I also have floaters in Mt eyes and can see light streaks when I close my eyes. This is very relaxing. It helps me to cope for a while. Thanks
This is it! This is the only sound that really works with tinnitus. Finally someone came up with the only solution in sight! Huge thanks, you will make lots of people feel better and have a normal life. I already do this for 4 years, runnning water sound, but yours is better! Thnbaks from Israel!
Thank you, Dr Ben! I love this sound. I feel peaceful and happy when I listen to it. Not worried, depressed or scared about T. T is for transformation.
I think any auditory input that's sufficient volume enough is to drown out tinnitus. I've had it for years. The brain learns to filter it out. This may not be true for everyone and I'm sorry that you have to endure this. I personally am going through a number of UA-cam videos that are geared towards relaxation, nature sounds, whatever. By now I have quite a collection. For me, it's easy to mix these sounds together by just playing both at the same time just with one with more dominant volume. Of course any creative version of this is up to the reader. I wish you luck listening to this for a sense of peace through the travels that help you cope. It's my understanding that for some it's quite a maddening thing. :(
I've had this condition in my left ear since 9.10.90, after a car rolled over the left side of my head. I have listened to hundreds of videos over the years. None of them gave me relief. For the first time, it's not there. You sir, are wonderful! So, so grateful for this video and you! Tytyty!!!!! 🥰🙏🤗
I'm deeply sorry to hear about the accident causing your tinnitus, but I'm thrilled that this video brought you the relief you've been seeking for so long. Your gratitude means a lot, and I'm glad it's made a difference for you. 🥰
Will any fan do or does it have to be a box fan? it’s been 1 month that I got this, trying to learn how to deal with it. Trying to learn how to ignore it, from what I read it’s in the brain and if you keep thinking about the noise then your brain thinks you want to hear it. I wish there were help groups to attend.
I have been using your cricket sound UA-cam offering and it has been very helpful. Firstly it makes the tinnitus sounds much more bearable when it going strong such as first thing in the morning when the noise is very strong for me. Greatly reduces the suffering and make it bearable. And it seems to be dial down the tinnitus in general. This has been very impressive as nothing else I have tried has helped. Thank you Doctor this has been of great service and I look forward to using these water sounds. I pray others are getting similar healing from your sound tracks. Again thank you very much.
Last night, my ringing of the ears started.. this amazing therpy sound helped me so much .. I sleep 8 hours .. I feel much better this morning.. my ears have started opening more.. I will listen every night now.. I feel extremely rested. Thank you for this..
I have pulsatile tennitus and the best way for me is to exercise and you need to sweat. I do mine in the treadmill (walking and running) and it goes away temporarily for at least 10 to 15 minutes. I listen to this sound while exercising. I can’t really wait to get better.
Alza, I can relate to this! Gonna try listening to running water while on the treadmill. I am 81 years old, so this feels kinda hopeless for me. But I will keep trying. Have had PT for eight years now. I'd really like to get better soon!
I'm delighted to hear that this sound therapy has been effective for you. It's great to hear when individuals find relief and comfort through such methods. 😊
truth is it made my tinnitus go away after a min. or two I do listen to my radio every night on my Christian station 105.5 k-love and that helps but the water running in waterfalls blocked it all right out awesome god bless
Does anyone else have tinnitus that sounds like a million chirping crickets? That's what I have, and I am wondering how common it is. // This video is awesome. I love the sound of water, always have.
This is a quality recording! I'm definitely adding it to my tinnitus playlist. After 30 years I've found many helpful sounds, but bed time is the critical time for me. I think this will definitely help! Thank you!

The high pitch shrill constant noise in my ears , yes the gentle changing pitch of the stream immediately had me not hearing the noise in my ears so much. Thank you..
Hi Dr. Ben, thx for this video, I’m new to the tinnitus community and find your videos very informative and helpful. Lifesavers so to speak. In your videos I have watched so far, the masking sounds you appear to refer to quite often are pink noise, white noise, and nature sounds i.e. waterfalls etc. Those are the sounds I’ve also found that you have posted videos of. Is violet noise also not a good option, and if so could you say why. If it is, do you have a video and could you please post a link. I posted this comment on an older video as well but not sure whether you will see it, so giving it a second try. Thanks for all you do.
Ben Thank you so much. this is amazing and thank you for caring. The water over rock (not forest birds) is perfect, its natural, calming, completely dissolved it for me. Just before I tried many from white white noise to frequency, it wasn't a good experience. and at times exacerbate the condition with tension. Spiritually you have purpose in your life.. Bless you, lots of love brother.
Masking is a temporary solution, but what really works is to train your brain to focus on other sounds around you instead of focusing on your tinnitus screeching. Mine is like a soft high-pitch white noise that can get very annoying the more in silence I am. I combined this video with the one called 528Hz | TREE of LIFE | Whole Body Cell Regeneration, to add some dynamism otherwise I realize the water sound loop and I start thinking again about tinnitus.
I have had tinnitus for so long,it's hard to remember not having it.Sometimes it's a loud ringing, other times it's a dull ringing. This helps sometimes.
This is very helpful - it seems like a higher pitch is helpful as well... but this works well in the mean time - i personally find the lower tone soothing and the highter tone more canceling - i just don't know where to find both Thank you for providingd this help.
I have changed my sound to fall asleep to rain water. I use to have on just a white noise static type. The rain water doesn’t even have to be that lounge and still offers an inviting sleep condition.
I have used the sound of water and I have a sleep machine ap that has multiple sounds like different fans, wind, beach waves birds, drifting thru space ect. I use about 5 or 6 different sounds. The one you have recomended here I would also use. This video can help a lot of people.
I hear emmmmmmmm sound continuously since 1.5 years.. I believe and doctor told me its because of sinusitis..my ethmoid sinus is over filled with infection which causing negetive pressure.. Resulting tinnitus, weakness, eyes related complications, extreme sinus pressure.. 😭😭😭😭
Hey Dr Ben, I tried this sound last night and was very pleased. I've shopped several different sounds and have not been happy with most. This and crickets both help with tinnitus and restful sleep.
I've had tinnitus and hearing loss for about 15 years, to be honest it's never overly bothered me and I can find tuning into the ringing stops my mind wandering. If I could lose the tinnitus and gain my hearing back no doubt I'd chose that, but it is what it is.

I use to sleep (relaxing) on the floor in the bathroom and have the shower on. Works everytime, as long as no one else need to go. My son was up early got scared. He thought I was dead. So for the last 28 years I lock the door
Sound therapy help provide your brain another auditory stimulus on which to focus on. This provides tinnitus relief. That being said, as long as you're achieving tinnitus relief through sound therapy, it would be considered a long-term relief leading to lasting "cure".

God bless and heal you, in Jesus's name, amen.
My tinnitus is a high pitch, perhaps 8000 Hz. The running water is very relaxing but did not mask my tinnitus. I get better result with a violet noise pitch, which is a higher pitch.
I will give the Violet noise a go - the water is nice and relaxing for me too, and doesn't do anything to mask the tinnitus
Play it loud enough, it does 😂
3 months driving me crazy that comment made me laugh thanks 🙏

I love the sound of running water, and this soundtrack is a good one. It takes me back in time to the days of my youth, hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. However as an older man I must exercise caution, this wonderful sound at night adds to my trips to the call of nature.
You too? ☺
Ok I guess I’m the odd person out, but this sound actually frames and highlights my tinnitus even more! Crazy!
same here!
Same. Any recommendations for other sounds? I am noticing that the intensity is worsening. My stress levels are low, and my diet mostly healthy😊.
Same ....my tinnitus is more intense now .
Try bilateral music...
I've got the high pitched one too. You are not alone!
@@oakherder17yes, I too find listening to an audio book or a guided meditation that uses very descriptive calming walks a long the beach or a trail in nature helps so much….I really focus on the calm soothing voice/sounds and before I know it I’m asleep 😉
can you please recommend what you listen too, calm soothing meditation 🙏🏻

😔 I've been suffering for months literally months if not longer..
This is all new to me, it’s been one month and it’s just overwhelming, I’m at a loss on what to do.😢
This one is definitely soothing. Encouraging and enriching relaxing the sounds in the head and ears. One of my favorite. Can listen to this one all day.
Happy to hear that! Thank you very much! Enjoy exploring our other UA-cam videos, as well as blog articles on our Treble Health website.
You're welcome, Aubrey! Glad you liked it. Enjoy exploring our other UA-cam videos, as well as blog articles on our Treble Health website.
Bless you for being so kind and giving me some advice on how you have learned to deal with it.🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@BlingyBea Take care and all my best!
I've had a leaking toilet stop valve for years and sleep in my bathroom because of it. It's been a God send.
LOL, this makes me want to run to the bathroom. I use a ten-hour rain video to help me sleep, and it also helps during the day with the tinnitus.
LOLOL! Me too:
Hey Dr Ben… My tinnitus has been with me for decades. I appreciate anything that helps to cope. I would offer one suggestion that would help with the continuity of your video: there are software for seamless editing - especially in a video such as yours - to merge audio segments into one smooth track, without any pauses, or breaks. That is the only criticism I have. Those “pauses” in the audio are like getting poked while meditating. Thank you for your efforts to help!
Thanks for the suggestion, Kenneth! Appreciate it. 😊
Because of my tinnitus, I have the ability to ignore sounds that would drive others crazy. That's how I've lived with extremely loud tinnitus for almost 50 years. After a few minutes of listening to the flowing water, my mind blocks it out. No change whatsoever in my tinnitus.
Fifty years? That's a long time. It's been eight years for me. One friggen day at a time...
I will try this tonight. I like how you fade out the image for sleep. Thank you so much - I can't begin to tell you how much your videos have helped me.
Wonderful! You're so welcome, MAC. Enjoy exploring our other UA-cam videos, as well as blog articles on our Treble Health website.
Thanks, Shai. 😊
This is a big help! Thank you for putting these together and helping to make this condition tolerable ❤

You're welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. :)
T is for transformation, I love that 🤍
Love your perspective. I hope I get there soon ❤
Even though I don't myself suffer from tinnitus I find this sound very relaxing & it will probably help me sleep.
I have PT in left ear and misophonia. The water sound hasn't triggered my misophonia, thank God.
I sleep with the sound of a box fan and it really helps me sleep better.
Awesome. Thanks for sharing! 😊
Box fan sound is purely magical
The perfect background noise and you can be confident that it's not going to be interrupted by adverts whilst it aids calmness to your sleep .
Last night, my ringing of the ears started.. this amazing therpy sound helped me so much .. I sleep 8 hours .. I feel much better this morning.. my ears have started opening more.. I will listen every night now.. I feel extremely rested. Thank you for this..
Wonderful! Glad it helped. Be well, Goddess Trena. 😊
I have pulsatile tennitus and the best way for me is to exercise and you need to sweat. I do mine in the treadmill (walking and running) and it goes away temporarily for at least 10 to 15 minutes. I listen to this sound while exercising. I can’t really wait to get better.
Thanks for sharing!! Be well, Aiza!
Alza, I can relate to this! Gonna try listening to running water while on the treadmill. I am 81 years old, so this feels kinda hopeless for me. But I will keep trying. Have had PT for eight years now. I'd really like to get better soon!
I used to prefer ocean waves but since I found this particular one, I keep coming back to it to help me sleep over my tinnitus. Thank you!
The ocean holds my soul. But not to sleep to.
God bless you doctor
Nice! This seems to clear up my Tinnitus background noise completely.
……and I continue returning to this magnificent sound as support and ‘peace’,….especially during tinnitus flare-ups 👍.

This is helping! Thank you- I just want to cry with relief.
You're welcome. Glad it helped!
Rain sounds also help to relax our mind, it's very helpful ❤❤❤❤❤

I’ve had this problem for 10 year or so I found listening to sound of the sea helps me
Thank you for sharing your experience, and I hope the sound continues to bring you comfort and tranquility.
When I focused on the sound it was much better. Thank you
Ben Thank you so much. this is amazing and thank you for caring.
I don't suffer from tinnitus, but this sound therapy is the most relaxing and enjoyable..I fall asleep so well..thank you for this
Glad to hear you were able to find relief! Try to keep using this management tool for lasting relief :)
I love this video.. Use it every night.
We're glad you love the video and find it helpful.
This is very helpful - it seems like a higher pitch is helpful as well... but this works well in the mean time - i personally find the lower tone soothing and the highter tone more canceling - i just don't know where to find both
Thank you for providingd this help.
I like this but I need something more sharp to really control it like crackling fire. I use a combo of this, rain and a crackling fire.
I have changed my sound to fall asleep to rain water. I use to have on just a white noise static type. The rain water doesn’t even have to be that lounge and still offers an inviting sleep condition.
Thank you. It is actually working!
You're welcome!
I have used the sound of water and I have a sleep machine ap that has multiple sounds like different fans, wind, beach waves birds, drifting thru space ect. I use about 5 or 6 different sounds. The one you have recomended here I would also use. This video can help a lot of people.

Neat and thanks, I wouldn't have believed it until I started the video. Excellent.

Hi yes it is very good and relaxing and is working very nice .
Hey Dr Ben, I tried this sound last night and was very pleased. I've shopped several different sounds and have not been happy with most. This and crickets both help with tinnitus and restful sleep.
Hello From San Francisco 🌊🔥🔥🌊
Hello there! 👋
Beautiful to listen to the ringing is still intense honestly not sure what it is, thank you
You’re welcome 😊
I've had tinnitus and hearing loss for about 15 years, to be honest it's never overly bothered me and I can find tuning into the ringing stops my mind wandering. If I could lose the tinnitus and gain my hearing back no doubt I'd chose that, but it is what it is.
I m just 46 yrs tinnutus in right ear only if that bustard evil not enough then tingling on face n head n pain , I m dealing everyday with this hell , I wish I m long dead pray I die n end this all torcher
I use to sleep (relaxing) on the floor in the bathroom and have the shower on. Works everytime, as long as no one else need to go. My son was up early got scared. He thought I was dead. So for the last 28 years I lock the door
this is bloomin brilliant!
Thanks , helps to mask the extreme noises to focus on the water sounds
So how will this sound therapy get rid of my ear ringing? I have had it for over 50 years and I would really like to have it stop.
Sound therapy help provide your brain another auditory stimulus on which to focus on. This provides tinnitus relief. That being said, as long as you're achieving tinnitus relief through sound therapy, it would be considered a long-term relief leading to lasting "cure".
