I think since both Hayden and the crucible have been left on slayers ship at the end of eternal, the crucible will possess Hayden and the ship. And that possessed Hayden will be the antagonist along with the demons and some new mech demons created from Hayden/crucible. Based off demonic crucible lore, along with the prophecy behind it, I believe the demonic crucible is its own entity. Since Hayden and the crucible are plugged into the same circuitry I believe they will merge and try to dominate everything. Do you think that is possible?
Exactly what is needed. I think it would be cool to have the Doom story be put in an Elder Scrolls type of gaming experience, with deep backstory to go with the incredibly intense player experience we all know and love.
I loved the ambiguous lore from the originals. A hardened space marine is faced with an apocalyptic senario so he grabs a shotgun amd gets busy. The they kill his pet and now hes really effing pissed. Now its like Disney, Nickelodeon, and Pokémon all got together and made this very gay crap. Seriously now he riding purple dragons and and has fairytale gay powers and he sucks.
This is the best theory channel for this content. Not to many channels but this content is a step above... not lazy, not padded with filler, and doesn’t present anything that is made up or a personal theory as if it were canon. Really great!
The Crucible is an ancient godly sword wielded by the prime evil as i believe the seraphim created another crucible in the image of the original crucible .
Why is it called the Crucible though? It doesn’t do anything remotely like what an actual crucible does. Same question for the Helix Stone. It’s not shaped like a helix nor are there any helix markings on it. Just why?
The blood tree prophecy makes it sound like the original crucible or the source of its power is something that’s feared and not quite understood even by the demons. I feel like it will play a role in the post TAG 2 events, giving the Slayer a reason to return in the future. Not sure if the devs really intended on thinking that far ahead but I know they’ll need a good reason to bring this story back eventually.

The only thing I can say is that the crucible belong to the dark lord. When he created the makyr, he fell from his creation by taking his power and it's making. He couldn't destroy him so his sphere was incase in. Also the makyr made the seraphim, he knew what was happening and how the outcome would be. Dark lord vow revenge and so he started his whole plot from the beginning and in to the beginning till the end. Doom guy or Doom Slayer was his whole purpose of him. It was his same appearance and knew he needed to get him to the other dimension to his time where he needed him to be at to destroy his creation by his hands for the things he was robbed. So both felt pain, but the end, well he slew him with his blade and knew he would lose the power that the dark lord had in his body. So much revenge, yet, in the end, still bound in the coffin. I can imagine he becomes the resurrection as the dark lord. Wow, that would be something to see.
I just noticed that the orbs on the elemental wraiths back in doom 2016 resemble life spheres. The same ones we see in the ancient gods. I wonder if the father had made the wraiths and sent them to the world of Argent D'nur.
Some points support this. Urdak, the Fathers home, is a destroyed planet. The world spear could have been part of Urdak. Also, the codex states that the Father was transformed into VEGA to watch over his creations. Meanwhile the gate of Divum was always on Earth. There are also Argenta settlements in our solar system. By that stretch, we are the Fathers creations. The Father made Wraiths, Wraiths gave life to Argent D'nur. The Argenta settled in our solar system and some of their nomads were "probably" our first ancestors.

Could the demon statue that holds the demonic crucible , be what will Samur/Hayden will become ? It dose look kinda like a priest too , the dark priest being corrupted by the crucible it could be actually Samur . So either that was some important figure in the past , a hell lord /elder demon god , or could be a future representation somehow .
It seems like Samur wanted to destroy the Makyrs and didn't care how. His first attempt, stealing The Father, caused them to swear allegiance to The Dark Lord rather than simply fade away as he seemingly wanted, so he pointed the Doomslayer at them after they were corrupted. He doesn't seem to be an enemy or alley to hell so much as an enemy to heaven with no scruples who would do anything to see them destroyed, no matter who gets hurt as collateral. Its possibly that only the Khans are mortal amongst the Makyrs and he wanted to kill only the so he could take over, but if so his plan was not well thought out. I suppose he may have simply assumed the Khan would be willing to die gracefully rather than turn their slave race to the service of the Dark Lord fo extend their life. Depending on his motives and how you look at it, he could either be a freedom fighter seeking to liberate his people from an immortal tyrant, or a psychotic terrorist seeking to destroy heaven by any means.
That's what we all assume. But we don't know how it was created, when it appeared in the early days of its creation.. and.. who actually created it. There is no information directly linking the Demonic Crucible to the Dark Lord. even though he is the most obvious answer to it. It just appeared in the game.
