Amazing Jimmy. Final product is a work of art but all the techniques you use are a masterclass in woodworking. The bell is the icing on the cake, despite what the trolls had to say and loved the ending... cute dogs!
The feeling you get when you build something like this with your own skills and ideas must be priceless.
The Safety Sallies are going to be calling for your head in this one, Jimmy!..Looks cozy!
You edited out all the video of you making those two dogs? That's what I was waiting for the whole time!
Wow, nice design. Congratulations on still having all of your fingers, too.
Well done sir. Re-purposing some aged wood from another structure always deserves kudos.
Aw, that's great. Using reclaimed wood as veneer was a bit of genius. And we now know what the bell was for; very clever. The final product is amazing.
the wolf's layer! those yorkies look like proper savages.
Jimmy, I've said it before, but you're my hero, man.
One thing I have found to be very true- Safety Sally's are only capable of making one thing -Posts on how dangerous creators are behaving who actually make something...
Another outstanding build Jimmy! Love the dogs!
ha! thank you!
+ScoutCrafter You can't deny some things he does in this videos are extremely unsafe... But he does make one hell of a dog house : )
The pups at the end were really cute!
Love the nail gun trick, that should get the safety freaks frothing at the mouth :)
That's why I did it.
I guess Murphy's Law says that "If you don't pay attention and know what you're doing, no matter how many safeties you implement, years of work in the shop will get you some accident."
Attention and control are the most efficient safeties you can get when you're repeatedly exposed to danger.
***** lol 9/10
would laugh again
***** its not so much jimmy knows what hes doing hes just willing to accept the consequences when he nails himself to the wall rather than bitching to the manufacturer about safety
man every step of the project it got cooler and cooler. i want to build one and i don't even like dogs
Make one for me then.
Sir, you are on another level of creativity! I have seen many of your videos! Bravo!!
Ahhh, the poor old fella is blind isn't he? he looks so happy tho!
count your fingers count your blessings is what this should be titled. WOW! REALLY!!!!!!!
I made a house for my rabbit that fit inside his cage similar to your dog house. It was all 1/2 plywood and I used old fence slats as barn board on it. topped it off with a cedar roof. My shop class teacher was amazed.
This reminds me of Spike building his house and it would be destroyed every time by Tom and Jerry. LOL. Nice house by the way.
Just started watching videos on UA-cam for almost a year now I've seen most of your work and I'm amazed, definitely inspired hope that show your talking about kicks off good luck and thank you
I don't know much about woodwork, but all of these projects are so well thought out. Nice work!
I love your cats at the end :)
Wat.
MrBondy123 DOGS!!!!
Watching the way you work with power tools makes me cringe, but you have mad SKILLS! Love the way you work with wood and metal! Keep it up!
You are amazing! When you said you were making a dog house video on the Q & A show I thought "how can he make a dog house that will be on the same level as his other projects?" Well, thats how! Very cool rustic look and the bell works. Love it!
DIRESTA IS A GENIUS!
I know it's none of my business but, you are a mad man for using the saw like that

Great build Jimmy, I'm gonna scale it down to make some bird houses for the winter. I love the way that you lifted the wood on your chopsaw to cut extra wide, I might not have thought of that trick, thanks for the steer. BTW the nail gun trick scared me, ha ha , i'd have to use a scrap of wood or something!. Best wishes from the UK
please be careful, i often take risks in the shop! not for every one. Thank you
Dominic I thought that was the trigger that made the nail fire. So when it's in contact with the wood and your weight is over the gun, the nail will fire all the way into the wood. But when you press the trigger half an inch off the surface with your finger tip like he did, there isn't as much force driving the nail in so it won't penetrate as deep. Something like that anyway.
I think I'd have just used a small hammer and nail though haha
Dominic Lifting there bypasses the safety that tells the gun it is up against the wood. Doing so lets him fire it from a distance making the nails not penetrate so far or flush. That way they hold the two together so he can cut them together but still separate them later.
Absolutely beautiful. You are a mine of creativity. Thank you.
My nail guns make the world go round + I like that miter saw trick.
Your dogs are well-cared for! Beautiful job and hilarious video editing at the end!
wowwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol when the dog got frightened !!! ;-) :-)
I absolutely love your dogs. They are truly gorgeous.
Jimmy that dog house looks amazing!
I was just about to start my dog house and make a video too, now I might change some features! Thank you for the upload! Take care
You are a authentic genius !
Well, this completely changes the meaning of "in the doghouse" doesn't it? Have to make sure my pups don't see this. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge and skills with all of us. And folks, I know that just cause I watch the Indianapolis 500 on my TV doesn't mean that lil' ol' me can jump in my car and then start driving like that! (but I CAN dream!)
Wow. Great job. Watching you trim the edges of the window insert on the table saw blade made me very nervous though!! You are a master.
Awesome!!! Fantastic job, and great doggies...
wow, that nailgun thing looked super dagerous, but i am sure you know what you are doing!
Great Job Jimmy !!!
I know you said you had rats in your shop but...dam them some big rats
Cute cute. he he he Obrigado por compartilhar mais uma vez, grande abraço Jimmy!
When you held the nail gun trigger back with your finger l could hear the safety junkies explode. LOL
Beautiful dude! true craftsmanship.
Screw the nailgun safety defeat, that sliding miter saw mid air scared the Sh!T outta me. Only DiResta can pull that off! If there was a National Saw Competition, Jimmy would defeat all challengers....Jigsaw...bandsaw...chainsaw...handsaw...you name it.
Great build Jimmy. Like the linkage work.
i bet this guys stuff was never stolen at school
Awesome!!!!
too good Jimmy.
Frickin awesome Jimmy......friggin A+ awesome!!
I'm deeply touched...

Pretty beast!
dog tested and approved : )
wow, that is really impressive!
Love it Jimmy
Found your vids yesterday, and watching for the last couple of days. Thanks for the entertainment :)
I guess the bell is because one of the dogs is blind?
Old age and blind.
Well that bell you made came in handy.
Awesome!
Excellent
very nice! TY
Pavlov with a planer... Awesome stuff!
That's awesome

Amazing

jimmydiresta So great! Why does Make: have this set to "unlisted" ?
es una obra de arte.
Very nice house and video on how NOT to use power tools.. ;-)
Very nice!
11:10 That is so cool!!!!!
epic !
This is a very cool video!! 👍🏻👍🏻
I love those japanese squares.
I can spot a few things in your workshop that you didn't paint your name on.
Spikes gonna squat in there, otherwise he will give the dogs a rent book.
Nice!!!
lol,,..i think one of the dogs piddled a bit when it went into the house and rang the bell.
This comes straight from Wilie Coyote's book "How to annoy you AND your dog in a million monotonous steps!"
That would drive me mad!
Nice brother!
Thank you always!
Safety Police won't be loving this video. For me, it's excellent as usual Jimmy. There is no joy of living life if there isn't any risk in your life.
What were the thin rustic pieces and the bell tower made of? Weathered oak?
Lucky, lucky dogs!
Oh how I hate you and your skills with a table saw... This thing rocks!!!
Awesome skills, great imagination! Are those two "models" testing the house yours? :)
ending was cute
Epic
Я восхищен.
now you need to build two
Yeah he can knock shit out but his technique is also impeccable.
