My subscriber (@Esteb858) mentioned about products that I should try to make my gun experience better.
This might solve the dreaded Staccato SRO & RMR HD overhang problem.
These are the two products I used to eliminate that problem. I bought it with my own money without any discount.

Hey that was me that recommended this plate! Glad you like the plate, I’ve been very happy with mine. The plate is made of titanium which I thought was very unique since most other plates are steel or aluminum.
One note of caution, I think you said you’re using TTI titanium screws. I would make sure the screws aren’t too long and pushing down past the plate into the slide which would cause the plate to bend. To make sure I would take the plate off the slide and mount the optic to the plate and check to see if the screws go past the bottom of the plate.
Great video, thanks for sharing your thoughts! I’ve put over 3k rounds through my XC with no issues with the plate or screws backing out.
Yes. Thank you. It was you. I will put your user name on that video description. 👍🏼👍🏼 I just bought it to test it out and make this video. I can’t even use it for work. Haha
@@TacticalExpeditionthese Eleven71 plates are approved for duty use with SDPD so hopefully your department will allow them too.
@@Esteb858 what...... that's great... Hopefully they approve RMR HD soon.
That rear site is genius bro
Dawson plates do not change the rear sight for the P and XC- you have two different production runs. Eleven71 plate looks good but they should have DLCd. Don’t use your Torque Wrench to loosen screws- it will damage the mechanism.
My P and XC plates are both from Staccato (Dawson). If it’s different production, the rear sight got thicker ☠️. About the torque wrench, it makes sense. I will use other drivers. 👍🏼 thx
@@TacticalExpeditionI have the Dawson plates on my XC, XL and P and they are all different. Some thicker/thinner, different screws etc. I consider them ‘Improvements’.
Thank you for subscribing and liking my videos. 😎😎
Great video and glad I found this. I have an SRO on my P and will be trying out this plate from Eleven 71!
I wish it was DLC coated but oh well. 🤣
I don’t either one of those guns but both look good I did pick up a rmr hd and a rcr as well
XC is such a great feeling gun. I highly recommend it 👍🏼
Good stuff
Thanks for the video
Thank you 👍🏼
Thank you so much great job
Wanted to make a quick video about different solution to a problem. 👍🏼
Odd that non of my staccato’s have a problem running SRO’s or RMR HD’s.
SRO on my EDC which is a 2024 CS.
SRO in my limited optics staccato XL.
RMR HD on my Apache but on an Atlas plate.
Literally never had a jammed case or any kind of whiteness marks of cases hitting the optic.
My only “issue” is carbon build up under the optic.
As I stated in the FB groups regarding this. It’s a non issue unless you have a poorly tuned ejector, poorly tuned extractor, bad ammo, or someone thinking it’s ok to run 7-9# recoil springs in short 2011s…
That’s good. I switched the spring to 10lbs. No more miss feeding. 👍🏼
Hey where’d you get the sand paper and how’d you get it to stick? I like that for your thumb!!
I got it on Amazon. Just search for it and cut to size. Sometimes, they have pre-cut sand paper stickers. 👍🏼
I hope to get to use Steinter MPS. I used MPS, RMR, ACRO 2, and I like the MPS compared to those.
I see. That’s very similar to ACRO & Trijicon RCR. I just don’t like the mailbox look on top of my guns. It looks so bulky. This is just my opinion. I also have RCR. 🤣
@@TacticalExpedition
Yes, it is not much to look at. Overall aesthetics wise, RMR is better. However, the MPS window is large, and it has less of the blue tint. It is mostly because I am too lazy to clean the rear cavity area of the RMR design.
Where did you get the titanium mounting screws?
Taran Tactical Innovations.
@@TacticalExpedition thanks for the reply.
@@cl13991399 it still strips but lot less than the original hex screws 👍🏼
Is that an SIS patch?
I ordered the LAPD XC. XC buddies
@briantran1740 wow. I wonder what it comes with. 👍🏼 Probably something nice accessories. 👍🏼
@@TacticalExpedition I was hoping you ordered it to add to your collection
