great tutorial especially on how to finish the end seams. I've sewn for 60 years and I threw away two attempts today on kids' ear warmers. I made the mistake of using fleece on one side and a stretchier knit as a contrast....did not want to get out my walking foot but should have. I am finishing my third attempt in your manner...may or may not topstitch around edges. thank you

Thank you! I’m watching on a tiny screen at the moment so I wanted to confirm that you use a straight stitch? I wondered about a stretch stitch or zigzag, but do these headbands not need to stretch enough when putting them on to worry about breaking stitches? 😊

I just used a straight stitch and t was fine but you could use a zig zag if you wanted. they don't stretch that much.

Fleece certainly does have a right and wrong side.

I like your pattern but you never mentioned what way to lay the pattern. I did it the wrong way first then I realized there wasn't enough give to get it on my head.

So sorry. I should have said that you should cut it the grain.
