Thank-you very much for your detailed tutorial as well as your pattern. I had been looking for something like this and was happy to have seen it on Pinterest. I have made one already and now I am going to make another one!
I can't believe I did that. I believe that I is the same width as the pattern and about 8" long because it gets folded up. That should be close. I hope. It has been a long time since I made this project.
I stumbled upon this pattern. Great gift. Do i print the pattern at 100%. I find that my lines do not match up. Would you know how the paper PATTERN measures? 13.5” x 17?? 11.25” x 17? Or other measurement? Thanks
No problem. I just printed out the pattern which I haven’t done in a while. The lines match up but the paper pieces do not. When I drafted the pattern I did it on a large piece of shipping paper and transferred it to the 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper so the paper is wonky when you line up the lines. Keep in mind that the neck piece overlaps and so do the side seam lines. My pattern measured 15 3/4″ x 11 1 /4″ when it was finished. Approximately. Remember that this is for a wire hanger. If you want to use a plastic hanger you will need to make the pattern a little bigger to accommodate the size.
I love your videos and included patterns. You should include your UA-cam name or link on the pattern. In this way we can go back to your instructional video for help. I write your name on the pattern after cutting for future reference. Thanks again.
Im sorry but the repetitive music is irritating as well as distracting and is almost as loud as your voice. I can watch with the volume down but I won’t get your instructions. Otherwise it’s a good video.
I’ve seen a few of these & yours is the best thank you
Thanks you so much
Great gift idea
Thanks
Thank You for a good tutorial!
Thanks
Interesting idea! I may try this sometime in the future. I've never put in a zipper. Been intimidated by them. Lol. You make it look easy!
You can do it! it is really very simple with practice.
It would be helpful if you showed you sewing things together. I didn’t understand quite what you did with the zipper tabs.

I’m sorry I can’t seem to find the pattern
Here it is. sewverycrafty.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Closet-Safe-Pattern.pdf
I meant the pocket size was not on the pattern piece. Could you tell me what size piece I will need? Like the pattern.

can the compartment zipper go up higher, making a larger storage area?
Yes it can.

You said it was for a wire hanger. Does it actually matter which kind of hanger you use? I don’t have any wire ones.
You will probably have to make the pattern a little larger for a plastic hanger.

I learned my lesson on the music and it is not in the later videos.
