It's very perceptive of them to recognize the kind of relationships on stage: "they aren't frank with each other" "they don't even want to look at each other" "this is just like they are having a job at similar place" "their faces tell everything so clearly". Abdul is very wise man.
Every time I come to see a reaction, it is Abdul who raises my spirits with his wisdom. Everyone has a lovely appreciation for music. But Abdul has lived a life that you can see, has shown him great wisdom, and he is taking the time to learn from them. I think that is why he gives the best reviews because, truth has no language barrier and known nationality
All the reactors are great…but I really LOVE Abdul Aziz. His wisdom and gentle nature remind me so much of my own grandfather…and I’m from Kentucky, USA. I’ve said this before…but I’m wondering…is it just me…or do others feel this way as well?
I love hearing his thoughts when it comes to music, often so insightful and seems to pick up on things in songs that I thought I knew so well. Thanks for your content.
I love what Mashoque said….”Who could blame anyone for falling in love with such a beautiful woman?”…we all all had a crush on Stevie Nicks back in the day. I’m 52 now…I was just a kid back then but even I thought she was gorgeous.
I'm 52 as well. I would have been a little kid in Alabama when this song came out, with a teenage uncle only a little more than a decade older than me. He sculpted many of my musical tastes early on - I lost him last year. Anyway, I said that to say this: once he told me that he would crawl to California for a date with Stevie Nicks. That's double the distance from Karachi to Lahore. 😍
50s here, too, and reading your comments, I had to add one, lol I lived in Scottsdale AZ in the 80s, and my stereotypical "rich kid" bf at the time was obsessed with her & I remember even saying, "damn, she'd make ME switch teams for a night too, but you are next level obsessed!!"😂 He says, "Oh, wait til you meet my dad!" Enter the home & see dad had a shrine to her: photos, album covers, more photos & dead center was a VERY large blow up of a chest xray of hers. His dad & she shared a dr & why I mentioned rich kid, I guess daddy paid the doc plenty to get a copy of her xray & he had it blown up, with backlighting and shit! Total legend😂😂
Abdul never disappoints with his perceptions. I would love to see their reaction to the song Silver Springs Fleetwood Mac played during this same concert!
@@zatoichiMiyamoto I agree! I saw them live in 2015 and loved it but there was just something really special about The Dance concert. I only saw it televised but it's still my favorite.
I love Fleetwood Mac - literal legends. I loved that they could also sense something beneath the song between the singers. They've been through a lot of trauma, stress, broken relationships and that's there - the strain but they still perform like this. This type of music is really in a different tier altogether - it transcends. Thank you for your words and thoughts. Much love!
My favorite band of all time. Nice to see everyone enjoyed it so thoroughly :) music is universal and truly can unite all peoples of all stripes! Thank you for the marvelous video!
Wow, this reaction gave me goosebumps. Music...the universal language. The interpretations and reactions of these gentlemen is so enlightening. Particularly the gentleman with the white turban-he is very wise and observant. Thank you so much.🙏
This channel and the various members just go to prove that deep down, we are all the same - regardless of race, color, religion, region, or ethnicity. We are all human ❤️ This could be any group of people, from anywhere, and we would watch music inspire all.
I'm glad to see the 1997 "The Dance" concert getting some coverage; IMO, if one of their songs is in this concert, then this concert is the best released version of that song. The Stevie/Lindsey relationship shows itself several times in the concert though not so much during _The Chain_ ; they sing a duet together _Landslide_ where you can feel the fondness between them and it feels like a reparation of sorts, though Stevie also does her song _Silver Springs_ which is about her ending her relationship with Lindsey in the 1970s, and she really emphasizes the lyrics "My voice will haunt you/you'll never get away from the sound/of the woman that loves you". Lindsey Buckingham is widely regarded as one of the best rock guitarists of all time.
I love hearing the gentlemen react to The Chain, a song which I love. I enjoyed hearing their insights into romantic love and relationships. I love when Mashoque says "it's like she's putting more fire on him". 🔥
There were some heartbreaking splits for sure. Christine McVie, the blonde singer with shorter hair, and the bass guitarist were married while Stevie Nicks, longer blonde hair, and Buckingham who was singing lead were together for many years. Both couples endured splitting up but performed amazingly well for years. You all have such gifted insight.
This was a special treat for me. This is one of my absolute favorite songs and this concert in particular is very close to my heart. Thank you for the upload, as always!!
You know by the time this was recorded (1997), Stevie and Lindsey were over the break-up from 20 years prior... they both just really understood that playing up the rift got the audience even more into the performance. "The Dance" shows them staring daggers at each other one moment, then tenderly sharing loving glances in another moment... they were playing to the audience and the cameras to add to the drama and intrigue.
“The Dance” concert was the second time the “Rumours” lineup had played together since the Tango In The Night tour back in 1987 (Bill Clinton’s inauguration was the first). I think everything they did on that stage during the taping for MTV was real; they’ve played up that act ever since then. Shame that Stevie ruined it all back in 2018.
it was GOOD & VERY NICE TO SEE YOU GENTLEMEN , ALL TOGETHER AGAIN & TO SEE & LISTEN TO YOUR COMMENTS ON FLEETWOOD MAC. ~ Thank- You All & I hope to see you again :))))
Great song, great performance and great reactions & understanding from our friends as usual. I just wish you had played the famous 1982 live performance for them instead - it was basically an all-out war between Lindsey & Stevie, and it's magical.
Ah, I just found that was more famous just now. I haven't seen it myself too so I will and will also share it with our friends too but can't promise a reaction video of it.
@@TRYBALS Haha I know it would be difficult to get a true second reaction now that they know the song, but I'm sure they'll love just watching it anyway. It was much closer to their breakup so obviously their feelings were still running very deep. The whole band was on fire and it's just a beautiful thing, even though you know there's a lot of pain on display as well.
The second woman singing was Christine McVie. I went to school with her in Birmingham, England when her name was still Christine Perfect. Sadly she passed away in 2023. Such a great artist.
I think it's important to remember that Rumours (1977) was 19 yrs ago, when this performance occurred, if I am recalling correctly? This was the reunion concert that every fan had dreamed about but doubted would ever happen. I agree that this was an amazing concert and everyone performed at a high level. The greatness in the songs and trials and tribulations that created them, is what people experience, whether they are aware of it or not.
All of you men are looking as healthy and as great as ever! Great to see everybody, it’s been a while since I’ve been on here. Hope everybody and their families are doing well!! ❤
One of my favorite bands, and this song is one of their best. Really cool to see the guys reacting to this classic tune BTW, love the new studio set up. Keep up the good work
As someone who adores the 'Rumours' album, I'm dancing while watching this. 😊 As always, fascinating insights from each of you. The ability to delve deeper into what's seen and heard even when working with translations. Such wisdom.

I'm 61 and if I had to rate the album "Fleetwood Mac, Rumours", I would put it well into my Top 5 of all time. Great song! Love the seriousness of their review.
In addition to these men being delightful, wise & open to a world of experiences, their insightfulness at the body language in this video is staggering. I'm very impressed.
I feel in my soul if Fleetwood Mac had access to these very wise tribal men, their lives might have turned out JUST a little bit better....or maybe not. It's all choice after all.....I love this channel.
Should get them to listen to Rhiannon - Fleetwood Mac | The Midnight Special Stevie nicks best performance and considered one of the best live performances ever.
Loved hearing the insights you all got from this performance! You might want to check out the 1982 live performance that's available on UA-cam. It's about 1000x more intense, with Stevie and Lindsay staring daggers at each other while singing the chorus. Both of them throw in more emotional, wordless sounds in that performance.
These men are exceedingly perceptive, able to read the band players nonverbal communication even though they come from a completely different culture. In my opinion they were doing a better job reading them than anybody in our own culture I've seen in responding to their live performances. I am impressed with the wise perspective they all have. I love it!
