The reason why Her Majesty is the least heard, is because the algorithms detect one heard when you listen at least 30 seconds of the song, and Her Majesty is 25 seconds long, so you need to listen to it at least twice for the algorithm to detect that you listened to it once

Keep this in mind. The Beatles broke up in 1970. 45 years between the time the band broke up and the time they went up on Spotify in late 2015. Their *least* streamed song (excluding Her Majesty) still has over 1 million plays. I think that says it all. Not to mention their *most* streamed song is getting closer to a billion plays. A billion.

@@disneyscott98 Yes. The Beatles' popularity will endure. Rightly so. About 40 songs with at least 100,000,000 streams probably don't even have many current artists (The leading artist, Taylor Swift, has 110-120 tracks over 100.000.00 streams at the moment, November 2022).
Another video with a different Spotify ranking for classic artists, lists the Beatles in 2nd place, behind Queen, who most likely owe 1st place "only" to the biopic, along with, of course, "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Don't stop me now", "Another one bites the dust", "We are the champions", "Under pressure" and "We Will Rock You", by a total of roundabout 20 songs over 100.000.00 streams. This will surely be put into perspective over time, already not the most famous Beatles album right now "Beatles For Sale" is streamed twice as often as Queen's "Hot Space", which would have ranked under "also ran", but there is the mentioned "Under pressure"... This song alone has 4x as many streams as this complete Beatles album... This focus on relatively few songs distorts this ranking.
Oh yeah, here's the other Spotify clip. Maybe you already know it. ua-cam.com/video/ajLAa6k3MD8/v-deo.html

@@braudabo of course Taylor Swift has a lot of tracks with that many streams, since she's current and a lot of people listen to new music through Spotify. if streaming was around in the 60's, the Beatles would've dominated, just like they did the charts back then.

Most people just assume Here Comes The Sun is Lennon or McCartney?* Citation needed.
Ever since I got into the Beatles in 1997 after the anthologies, I've noticed about the only thing people say about George is how he was actually very talented and underrated as a songwriter etc. After a quarter of a century of hearing this acknowledged non-stop by Beatles fans, does he still qualify as underrated?
And if not, what would it possibly take for you people to stop saying this? I mean... good luck waiting for a video with actual data showing concrete statistical proof that his songs are actually among (if not) the most popular Beatles songs of all time...

All of their Beatlemania songs where the whole world was literally passing out at the sight of them are their least listened to songs, and their later work that revolutionized music forever is more beloved and listened to. Crazy how Beatlemania, a term coined to describe the mass exodus of people from their homes to the feet of the Beatles 4, is topped. Only the Beatles, man, God. Love those guys.

The Beatles will always be my favorite band and important to me. But I feel their only revolutionary albums were Rubber Soul and Revolver. Those later albums were the best but the times were changing so fast, what they were doing on The White Album and Abbey Road wasn’t much groundbreaking to what was going on in the rest of the music world compared to when they released Rubber Soul and Revolver. Those 2 albums changed the face of music

Lots of Beatles' fans didn't like the Beatles more experimental stuff. I did, but TNK is a bit outside for a lot of listeners. I think it's a fantastic song, but I think just above Revolution 9 for weirdness for many listeners.
The Beatles didn't start as experimenters, and I have long argued that had the Beatles started their career with Revolver or Strawberry Fields Forever, they would not have clicked. The Beatles were very talented but also very fortunate that their audience grew with them.
I knew several people who lost interest in them after they associated with the Maharishi and even after Pepper until The Beatles and Abbey Road appeared. They were very relieved when Lady Madonna appeared!

I worked as an Au Pair in Bavaria for 2021. I always played Beatles music eith the kids bc the parrnts were fine with it, it made the time more enjoyable, and even with songs that have meanings unsuited for little kids the innuendos that hide them are pretty effective. I remember being the age of the kids I watched and not understanding some of the songs until much later. All that to say it put me in the top .005% of Beatles listeners in my Spotify Wrapped but the thing is I enjoyed every minute of it. I flipped between UA-cam and Spotify a bit so I got to hear so much of the Beatles catalog but still not everything. I also cant always place the names to songs despite having heard them what feels like a million times. I heard them mostly with the kids, so I wasn't checking my phone every second to see. This video is actually pretty handy for me in learning more about my own listening history! I also love "Her Majesty" as a diddy, it's a shame the melody was never used for an extended song, at least something more than 25ish seconds. Ugh the Beatles carried me through that year.

*Fantastic list, in the sense that it can be studied and analyzed and it will certainly be... Because it inevitably says a lot on many levels about the Beatles' young current listeners, it is a fascinating and extremely interesting subject of study. The fact for instance that it is a Harrison's composition and not a Lennon/McCartney that tops it all, or that "Blackbird" is in the Top 15 could in themselves become great articles and analysis... And what immediately struck me personally is the fact that there's a gap of about 300 bloody millions (!!!) between the N°2 and the N1 !... Probably the most interesting and informative list I've seen in a long time.*
