Due to popular demand, this time the George Martin songs from Yellow Submarine have been excluded, while Free As A Bird, Real Love, Now And Then have been included ! :))
And as per usual, playlist used for the video: open.spotify.com/playlist/4quTgxwggJSnlFibi5Wndy
Maybe next time include the anthology versions, live at the bbc versions and exclusives and the ones from Live at the Hollywood bowl versions of the tracks
"Wild Honey Pie" being higher than "Honey Pie" is wild indeed
I’m going to say it’s because it’s right after Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, and that’s one of the most played songs, so when you listen to the album it would auto play wild honey pie
@@Hamster_Pants I think you nailed it. That makes perfect sense to me
9:51 great to see Now And Then so high up
Real Love being 163 and Free as a Bird being 159 is so sad. Easily Top 4 Beatles songs ever made.
I'm down and Long tally Sally at the end of the list is almost a disgrace. I'm going to click on these tracks now a few million times. 😄💃
you cannot truly understand the level of excitement i felt when i heard the final 3 songs from the band playing, thanks a ton for the update broh 😎
Yay we have the remake 🤘
Nice mention of the 90s-2020s tracks on the demos category
You sure showed them George, God Bless ❤
14:15-14:18 Surprisingly, that was a really cool transition
Rain ( 4:10 ) is criminally underrated
It’s crazy that Here’s Comes The Sun is practically double the listens of the number 2 spot. It’s an amazing song, but people need to listen to more Beatles tracks.
I was shocked at how low She’s A Woman was, 203 out of like 216, I thought it was much more loved.
Matchbox being the lowest(only beating 30 secondish track Her Majesty) is no surprise, the mixing of that song in general is abysmal, but I still enjoy it as a fun rocker.
To be honest, a lot of my personal favorites were closer to the bottom.
Now And Then being like number 99 is crazy considering the song is only a month or so old, at that rate it can be number 1 in a year or 2. Not a great track though
Surprised by "Tell me what you see" being so low. I'm not much into Beatles but it's my dad's favorite song.
sad to see some of my favorites being so low
LETS GOOO
Yay, the update!
Thanks for this, very interesting. I find it funny with Spotify counts on certain songs. Eg Let it Be album vs single version are almost the same song, yet both have different counts, yet get back album vs single have the same count yet the single has an extended coda. Same with the remixes (some keep the existing count and others start again!). Which will make some song higher on the list.
I noticed Paul McCartney and John Lennon solo have the same issue.
Again great to listen to snippets of all the songs. Thanks. And thanks for the playlist.
It's frustrating as hell. I have no idea if Spotify or the artist is in charge of deciding which sets of tracks should have a collective sum of listens, but as widespread as that problem is, I'm going to guess it's Spotify's fault
For an obvious example of this, look at Evanescence's 2023 deluxe/remaster of their 2003 album "Fallen". According to Spotify, "Bring Me to Life" is the least popular song in the main tracklist of that album, even though it is the band's most popular song. The reason is that every other track on the album is sharing its listens with the original version, but "Bring Me to Life" is counting the remaster's listens separately. Why why why why why??!?
Imagine I’m in love with you
it’s easy if you try
How do you find the amount of listens each song has
you can see it on the Spotify PC app and on kworb.net/spotify
