- A compilation of movie clips referencing THE BEATLES (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr)…and a little bit of Yoko.
NOTE: A shorter version of this video was previously published, but after realizing there were SO MANY references left out, it was important to replace that one with a more complete compilation. Enjoy!
You know your a legendary band when there are 1hour + references of you in movies years after you stop being a band
They are gonna put me in the movies.
they're gonna make a big starr (hehe) out of me
@@farfellleeall i gotta do is act naturally :)
I don’t know the rest… sorry! lol 😂😂😂😂
59:40 There is another Beatles reference later on in the film when Elton plays Your Song to his manager for the first time and the manager says it's the best thing he's heard since Let It Be
As a Beatle fan, I really enjoyed watching all these film references. Thank you for uploading this :))
Sameeee❤🫶🏾
This is brilliant! What an incredible idea. So cool to see how long the Beatles have impacted pop culture and cinema for so many decades.
Amazing! It's so great that this was uploaded like 4 days ago, cool to see Beatles are still here
@23:34 omg they almost identical to the original Beatles 😮
Nice video! Could have also included Jules referring to Tim Roth as 'Ringo' in Pulp Fiction.
3:17 is so funny omg lol
3:17 me talking to my mom about beatles
is inserting some sort of Beatles reference in film dialogue an unspoken rule in Hollywood or something? Or is it a sort of "go-to" filler technique for writers? Some references are mentioned more than once and seem to be copied from other films i.e All You need Is Love
Great work! Thanks from all of us in Pepperland!
17:38 to put this into perspective, the Beatles broke up the day before Apollo 13 launched.
I wasn't sure of all the references in the video's thumbnail but I INSTANTLY knew what the Big Lebowski reference was...
Wonderful video!!! There's also a Beatles reference in Swinging Safari (2018), at the beginning of the film a character describes the 1970's by saying it was a time wedged between Penny Lane and Wall Street. Cheers
Thanks! Sorry I missed that one. Appreciate the comment! ✌️❤️
@@nowhereman113 Ahhh not to worry most do ✌
interesting quote. but to be more accurate the 70s were a time wedged between the optimism, peace and love of "abbey road" and woodstock and the fascist ultra violence of punk, the materialism of disco and the greed of wallstreet. i was a teenager in the 70s and it began pretty well but lead to the beginning of all the negative, backward BS we're infected with today.
you have to admit to be the subject of so much conversation 50 YEARS after a rock band broke up is quite impressive. but all this compliation showed me was how many films i've missed over the last 20 years and would like to see. thanks for closing down all video rental stores you internet idiots. the internet utterly SCREWED UP EVERYTHING! thanks for the video.

i have a question - when did weird al yankovic have ANY big hits? i sure don't know of any. he was funny and irreverant but he wasn't what you'd call a great songwriter or "hit" maker.
1:03:47 Ringo appreciation ❤
32:49 At first I didn't get the reference.
Then I saw the memorial.
Thank you for uploading this
Amazing job. Thank you
There's also a set of Sgt Pepper's cutouts featured prominently in Peter Jackson's first film Bad Taste. Talk about full circle.
Remember The Rock (nick cage, Sean Connery), at the beginning of the movie Cage buys some glass in order to listen to Abbey Road...
wow, so many references!!!
Ah but the first reference to The Beatles was by Lee Marvin in The Wild One in 1954!
And Lee referenced them in 'Paint Your Wagon' by singing 'I Was Born under a Wandering Ringo Starr'.

There is a European film, I think, from the 1st or 2nd decade of this century whose trailer shows a group of children in an attic listening to a new Beatles album. Does anyone know the name of the film?
