If you had a stair with a lip would you just wrap the vinyl?

Thank you for sharing. I'll be attempting this next weekend. I just painted my chipboard risers with primer and then paint. I would've much rather bought new riser fronts but I just didn't have the money. They look pretty good decent, so I'm happy. Do you find the vinyl to be slippery when walking on the stairs? Or does your vinyl have slight grooves in it to mimic natural wood grain? Your stairs and landing turned out very nice! 👍

I am getting ready to do this to my stairs and I have a question… did you do anything to the side edges to keep the vinyl down?

No, I just cut the vinyl so it has a nice tight fit on the edges, but you could seal the edges with a clear or paintable sealant if you wanted.

Would you be able to use the vinyl as a riser?

It would not work very well with the type of vinyl used in this video, but a more rigid flooring such as vinyl plank flooring or vinyl squares could be used.

Could you roll this over a stair nose?

Not with this type of flooring, it would have a very hard time conforming around a corner.
