Ok, milk is full cream or light ? I'm trying to get this results with full cream and i always fail , it becomes very thin . Is there any tip with the mixer rpms or the bit of the mixer, or you can use any general mixer ? Btw i have the the stainless steel cup with the strainer too . Order it from Greece of course 😁. Great video
Make sure your milk is really cold (2-3C) - you can always drop 1-2 ice cubes in there to help it out. Light milk makes an easier froth but full fat is tastier and you need a good mixer if you observe you can see that his has dual propellers.
As Paradox_X says the trick is the milk to be very cold. One ice cube should do the trick. Don't add many as you might get the opposite result (milk will become very watery and you will have a hard time make it thick)
@@p1zzal0ver61 they left coffee puck stayed inside the portafilter after it is used. Portafilter should be cleaned immediately after using. But this is common in coffee shops that work with industrial coffee and actually don’t care about the coffee.
@@antun1950 you leave the portafilter rather than clean immediately especially during rush because you will clean it in a second anyway. The portafilter is sensitive to heat and contracts when it cools down and then it has to heat up again when you pull a new shot. When it's not busy you can clean it right after use and then put the portafilter back on the group head, but it really doesn't matter either way, you will still purge and clean everything before a shot. Why clean it twice?

You can make the milk by putting ice and regular milk in a french press and churn for a bit(5 mins) and let sit for a few minutes until it thickens and churn again for a bit more, then it turns into that consistency. But now they have those electric whippers -cutting time in half lol

First it causes wear and tear to the porta filter and the tamp. Imagine a bent tamp because of having this habit. You won't get an even pressure throughout your tamping. Second, it creates cracks in the "biscuit" and therefore endorses channeling of the water which causes over exctraction.
The idea of reducing plastic has definitely not reached the USA yet... for a European living in Germany it feels awkward to look at all this careless and wasteful use of plastic everything. But I must admit that the freddo looks delicious.
Migrants are overrunning Germany and the rest of Europe destroying what was built over thousands of years, but you're worried about plastic cups being used.

What kind of milk do you use? Non-fat? Is it a high-protein barista blend? Or unpasteurized? Thank you!
You need to use milk with low fat. Before blending, make sure that the milk is very cold, otherwise you wont get this foam. I use milk with 1,5% fat.

how fat is the milk, in percentages? 3% ?
For freddo cappuccino prefer low fat milk. 0% fat gives you thicker milk but you lose some taste.
3.8% for sure
Any kind will work, just use fresh milk not condensed milk
