Those german battleships are same as players in WoWS - ignoring obvious smoke screens, sailing broadside to the destroyers, tunel visioning on carriers, not taking any evasive actions untill torpedo alarm goes off...
Timur Pirkhal atlantic fleet ai is known to be impressively derpy at times
Speaking of those smoke screens, doesn't laying a smoke screen when doing anything but running away from the enemy basically just put up a big flag screaming "TO KILL DESTROYER SHOOT HERE"? When the Acasta was rushing those battleships head on and halfway out of the huge obvious smokescreen, it seems as if it could do more harm than good.
Though, at that kind of range I'm not sure how much it mattered anyway :P
"When the Acasta was rushing those battleships head on and halfway out of the huge obvious smokescreen, it seems as if it could do more harm than good"
ah, that is because you seem to be under the impression that the destroyer was laying smoke to protect itself, when in reality it was meant to help the carrier, as it was proving to be a useful shell-magnet (without the smoke i'm sure the battleships would've sank her before the destroyers got into acceptable torpedo range, meaning all the guns would turn on them instead)
TheMigratingCoconut So these battleship AI are even more stupid than players in WoWS? O_O
More stupid? More like equally stupid. Have you seen the idiots playing wows lately?
My heart skipped a beat when I saw the Onslow at the end. Grandad was a stoker on her sister HMS Obedient, and also served on the Battleship HMS Resolution. He passed in April 15, it'd be an awesome experience to take his old ship for a blast in this.
now jingles, how about try saving HMS Hood and Ark Royal next time?
Check out iEarlGrey's channel - he did a video on this same game a few days ago - he played the scenario of the Hood and Prince of Wales against the Bismarck and Prinz Eugen - managed to sink both the Eugen and the Bismarck.
I second that action! Jingles! Save the Hood!
lol I was playing as the Bismarck and Prince Eugen and first shot, the hood got its revenge and magazined the Prince Eugen.
SAVE THE HOOD
Hood's life matters, made it happen jingles, your salt miners demand it
I love the touch of the wind being behind the Scharnhorst and Gneisenau as was the case in the actual battle which is why the Glorious couldn't launch any aircraft.
I see battleships still sail in straight lines when destroyers are about. Also, I don't think a grog will smooth over those ruffled feathers of the HMS Glorious' crew. You just used them as bait!
I want Jingles to revisit Naval Action.
Right after Fractured Space.
Right after XCOM.
Naval Action looks really great. Thinking of buying the game when i get some money :)
Apparently the devs messed it up, look at some of the recent reviews of it on Steam
Aaron Brougham Yeah, the majority are complaining that you can teleport instead of having to sail for hours. At the start this game had a very niche market, one which was obviously serious about their ships and had hours of each day to invest into it. The OG's are the only ones I see complaining about it but, the game isn't full release so I am sure that things will change since then, there is no game remotely like this game so I imagine it's reasonably hard to just make one from scratch while including the serious players and more casual players.
JINGLES I already loved this game but when you add all the facts and history it's amazing
You should play Hearts of Iron 4 or Europa Universalis 4
:) i know
Venom_ _Poison defenetly HOI 4
Make it happen Jingles!!!!
If jingles played hoi4, hed be producing lt1s in 1946
But that's exactly why I would watch him play it. lol
I have a full playlist with the complete british campaign. This game rocks. You don't know how extremely nerve wracking this game can get until you face a couple H-battleships and both Bismarcks with a couple KGVs and an aircraft carrier. Certainly the first time I tried it wasn't pretty XDDDDD.
I have a complete British Campaign too! You should check it out, I think you'll like it. And the other videos too. To get both H39s and Bismarcks at once was extremely unlucky. I totally believe you when you say it wasn't pretty!
I might buy this. Looks like a lot of fun for the money.
roooj?
It's the best money you'll ever spend. I got it for 6.99 on Steam, absolutely no regrets!
So excited he played this, I was the only one I knew who played this before now.
Hope he plays Killerfish's next game, Cold waters. PC only and very strategic.
This really was an interesting video, as the destroyers performed their escort duty perfectly. It reminded me somewhat of the better known Battle of Samar. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing more Atlantic Fleet videos in the future if you get an urge one day. :)
If you like Atlantic Fleet videos, consider checking out my channel, I do daily videos on Atlantic Fleet and currently have over 60 such videos.
Best casual Saturday video ever!
ThatguyfromMichigan I agree
Can we look forward to more videos from this game? Also, did you make the video in the game or is there a replay function as in WoW? Finally, would you say that gameplay is more realistic than in WoW?
No replay function, all recorded live, and it's waaaaaay more realistic than WoWs.
Wow
The Mighty Jingles I went and downloaded it for only £6.99 and it's very good! As you say it's also more realistic by far. I do recommend printing of the PDF manual (40 pages) and working through the tutorial. Excellent job!
Agreed that it's far more realistic - not just the surface ships, but also WWII submarines, from what I've seen of gameplay in other videos - does a good job of portraying their real world limitations - not the arcade nonsense such as in Steel Ocean.
yes some more videos of this game would be awesome, the game looks quite interesting. would like to see some other historical battles of it (sadly cant play myself cause im too busy with other stuff) :D
Acasta five hits for five torpedoes fired! Gotta love that!
You were right to get Glorious out when you did, but you should have kept Ardent on scene laying smoke to watch her sink.
Next time, fire half her torpedoes, and save the other half for a follow-up attack.
Good game though! 👍
I'm glad you showcased this. I played the lite version to try it first but I'm buying the game because I really have enjoyed it. You've helped me again in gaming
I think I'm gonna give this a try, looks like a lot of fun!!!
It's great!
Well I'll be, I actually have that on my phone. Personally I like using the Admiral Scheer
Really enjoyed this one, love to see you play more of this, as you can tell you know your stuff and the history you talk about always keeps me coming back, love your stuff :)
If you like watching Atlantic Fleet gameplay, you should consider checking out my channel. I do daily videos on Atlantic Fleet, I have a finished RN Campaign, custom battles, and, what I hope, is at least somewhat entertaining and informed commentary.
Interesting game. Thanks for sharing with us Jingles.
Well done on saving the Glorious!
Jingles, once you get the hang of it, you can do some crazy stuff. I did the sinking Bismarck scenario as the Bismark. I sunk both battleships and cruisers while only taking medium damage.
I did that on stream a couple months ago. While limiting myself to 1/3 speed and constant half rudder to port (to simulate the propulsion and rudder damage of Ark Royal's torpedo). And obviously all the top difficulty settings on ;).
Man, that was fun. And unexpected, I was sure I was going to get wrecked :D.
That's actually really impressive stuff! Congrats! (Yes, I know it's a bit late.)
@@ramjb I always thought the Swordfish strike damaged the steering only? Or am I missing something?
@@admiralplayerovski4325 Swordfish strikes got three torpedoes on bismarck. Two of them connected on the main TDS of the ship, which, while not being especially great, had no big trouble holding off the 18'' lightweight air dropped torpedo detonations out of the vital areas of the ship (machinery and engineering spaces).
One of them connected on the rudders, causing the critical damage that caused Bismarck to be unable to steer.
The two torpedoes that hit amidships, while not causing damage worth of serious concern for the ship, did, though, cause flooding in the external hull spaces covered by the TDS - all torpedoes had that effect- which, in order to keep the ship from listing due to flooding of those spaces, had to be counter-acted by counterflooding on areas on the other board of the ship.
we're talking about thousands of tons of water into the hull of the ship. Nothing drastic, nothing serious for the integrity of the ship, out of critical/important areas but still, water on the hull which added to the displacement of the ship, slowing it down noticeably.
That flooding compounded the already serious flooding Bismarck was already dealing with because of the two 14'' impacts from PoW in the Denmark Straits. One in the bows, cutting off fuel oil supply from that area and forcing Bismarck back to France, and one amidships under the main belt, which penetrated all the way through into a generator room, disabling two dynamos and causing a very serious flooding that the german crew was barely able to hold and already slowing the ship down. The hit in the bows was quite bad because bismarck (as all german battleships) was noticeably nose-heavy even when intact, and the flood in the bow areas didn't do much good in that sense. The hit amidships had to be counteracted by counterflooding itself, reduced the top speed of the ship and made it highly unadvisable to steam at anything over 20 knots because of the risk of the extra water pressure due to high speed would cause water to tear down the watertight bulkheads around the damaged section (which were barely holding in place and leaking).
Again, non-critical damage, but mission impairing nonetheless. During the Swordfish attack Bismarck was only able to steam at 27 knots due to the PoW hits reducing her top speed and the water she had already embarked (thousands of tons of water). The above-mentioned hits only worsened the situation even more.
During her last battle Bismarck was reportedly erratic in her course and unable to steer- but also was sailing at a very low speed (5-8 knots until she was forced to stop due to cumulative damage).
So yea, the swordfish attacks did a bit more than damaging just the steering.
@@ramjb I always thought it was only one torpedo that struck amidships. Thank you for sharing all of that, I learnt quite a bit!
hey jingles could you please try hearts of iron 4 its a strategy game set during ww2
I say that you're wrong Roy, you can pause the game whenever you like which means that even an old.timer like Jingles could do good in HoI4 although at a slower pace.
Roy Shein But Jingles already played similar games. I dont recall how the game was named but it was a turnbased highly detailed simulation of Operation Barbarossa and he made several videos of it.
I think Jingles would very much enjoy HoI IV
unity of command
HOI 4 is not turnbased.
pc master race I think hoi3 is better, I am playing it right now as comintern japan.
Jingles, a little tip when dealing with subs in this game: Never go for a depth charge attack. You can hit enemy subs with torpedoes if they're at periscope depth. You go for a DC attack, the sub will torp your DD before she gets within range
Hello, Jingles
An excellent game and an excellent commentary. Listening to you is like listening to a History Channel. I vote for more episodes on Atlantic Fleet!!!!
I'd love to see more of this :)
If only this was real time rather than turn based (like Cold Waters)...
I am late, but originally atlantic fleet was designed for mobile. It got added to pc later on, and since real time command on multiple ships is not so mobile friendly, they made it turn based.
Good thing, War on the sea, which is just that, is released now.
@@thetman1097
Thank you, I am rather interested in it!
the way jingles talks about the historical bits while playing its like watching a british Bob Ross who games its wonderful
Love the Casual Saturday videos. Look forward to the next one.
i am not sure why ppl fire torpedo spread ahead of the ship predicted course when they present a broadside, i mean logically... unless the ship can go any faster, those will never hit anything because the target ship will never go faster than the predicted course in those case.
instead we would be firing spread BEHIND the predicted course when they are broadside, as well as at the predicted course because when the target takes evasive course, they'd be slowing down as well as turning hard both of which will be caught by the spread fired behind.
the only exception i can think of is if the target isn't broadside but at sharp angle (in which case if he straighten out into broadside to you they will overtake the torpedo spread), or if you know he is currently at low speed and can accelerate to higher speed.
so for this example, in the second torpedo spread fired at Gneisenau... fire the torpedo spread starting AT the predicted course... then fire successive torpedo further behind that course at increasing angle.
Well, if a ship is broadside on to you and you fire torpedoes at it ahead of where the marker is, if the ship turns a little bit away from you the forwardmost torpedoes may hit. What is going on in that instance is the distance to the ship is increasing, which means that the torpedoes will take longer to get to target, which means that the forward-most torpedoes are more likely to be on target while the rearmost ones are more likely to be off target.
Of course, if the ship turns towards you, then your salvo misses. I usually like to do a wide-spread of torpedoes in Atlantic fleet, with some ahead and some behind, so it becomes difficult for the enemy ship to maneuver.
the spread in front is what i don't understand, i cannot think of any scenario where that would hit the target
i mean if the target is already broadside towards you, and he is travelling at full speed... then there's no way the spread ahead of the predicted marker will ever hit the target...
like there's no physically any way for the target to ever be intercepted by those shots since he cannot go any faster and get hit by it.
Again, if he turns away from you at a, maybe 15-45 degree angle, the distance the torpedoes have to travel to hit him will increase, which means that the torpedoes might have to be forward of where the marker was prior to the ship turning
noname117spore you mean behind the marker, if you aim ahead of the marker that would indicate the target is faster than the predicted speed and if it's behind the prediction marker, then the target is slower than the estimated speed
if the target ship is moving from left to right from your ship view, then if you aim ahead of the marker you would be aiming towards the right side of the marker which is placed to the right of the ship because that's where the ship's heading is and if you are aiming behind the marker, you'd be aiming to the left side of the marker in this case.
if the ship is turning, then effectively it is the same as if the ship is slowing down
if we use the left to right example, if the ship midway decides to turn away on ANY DIRECTION from his previous course broadside to you from left to right...
then ANY SHOT you made at the predicted marker and AHEAD of it is going to miss...
the only ones that will ever get a chance to hit is the ones that are aimed behind the marker.
Magni56 nope, you can try this yourself in sub sims etc when plotting for torpedo course...
if the target is broadside from your view and heading at full speed for example, going in straight direction...
you would be aiming ahead of his course... at some point say 500m ahead of him that will intercept that course, if you aimed say 800m ahead of him... there's ZERO way for the target ship to physically ever be in that spot you aim when the torpedo crossed his original path even if he is trying to get hit on purpose
regardless if he turned towards you or away from you, he would be at a spot short of the original course he took from your view... and the only way you could possibly hit him with the original salvo is if you had torpedoes fired behind the predicted course.
Hi jingles you probably wont read this but i am thinking of joining the navy and would like some advice of yours. . Please can you give me some advice. thinking of being in naval aviation.
Fleet Air Arm is a good choice to go for, although the waiting list for air and ground crew can be quite long before you get accepted.
The Mighty Jingles play more this is cool
The Mighty Jingles Good on the reply Jingles I'm a American going for the U.S Marines.
Thanks a lot for your tip. You have some great videos keep it going!
In Australia they say it is a priority role so i am hoping for the best as i want maximum time out at sea in an aircraft. I know I am going to have to work hard for that and it is going to require patience but that is my goal
Recommended this a while back, really glad to see you check it out. great little mobile game, great gameplay, great content, great price....what's NOT to like
This is a really nice change of pace from the regular schedule, nice! :)
HUGE FAN
i think i talk for several when i say i would like to see more of this ;)
OMG dude I LOVE this game I have it installed and play it every now and then since it came out from Day 1 (had the previous game aswell). I always wondered if Jingles would like it since its pretty much WoWs with rounds. This made my day.
Loving the Casual Saturday series! My second favorite series next to Mingles with Jingles :)
This game is addictive. Though the subs are OP as fuck.
early war, the subs WERE op as fuck lol they were murdering our convoys and very nearly starved us into defeat
and before depth charges were widely used. Subs were practically invisible
eatthisvr6 OUR convoys? In my case YOUR convoys...
Sirion yes. a major reason why Germany lost ww1 is the royal navy blockaded Germany and starved them out.
Germany very nearly did the same to britain in ww2
The subs are OP in this game due to how extremely well-placed they are at the start of each battle, in the campaign.
They automatically begin at a perfect firing position, within torpedo range and perpendicular to the convoy. Just point and shoot on Turn 1, then dive and get the automatic escape options a few turns later before the enemy escorts even arrive.
Anyone who has played a good submarine sim knows that approaching to that perfect firing position undetected IS the hard part of a sub attack. In Atlantic Fleet, it's already done for you - easy mode.
Anyone else just watching this video waiting for Mingles with Jingles to be released?
Yep.
Apparently, it's being released tomorrow, due to technical issues (see Facebook page).
I had never heard of this game until you posted this video Jingles. After that I went out and bought it on Steam and I have to say for the price it's a fantastic deal. For who hasn't played it, get it and enjoy!
I've played this game for like 2 years one of the most realistic games I've ever played
I figured jingles would play this eventually. Its a fun game for those who haven't played it.
So if you do play it it becomes... boring?
petti78 if you constantly play it 24/7 within a week it might not be as fun, but still fun!
i have completed both campaigns and Battle of atlantic for both, done all the single missions and spent lots of time on the custom battle, it does get boring eventually.
Every game gets boring.
It looks interesting when jingles is playing it but not really my cup of tea :)
I play this game alot love it
Nice game, would be thrilled to see these guys release Pacific battles, like a recreation of the hell Taffy 3 went through
Very enjoyable. After watching all of your Atlantic Fleet replays I finally bought it thru Steam today. It is a much more detailed game than I thought. The campaigns look to be difficult especially the farther along you get in the game. It appears to be one of the best ten dollar bills I've spent in a while, although that KC strip I cooked out on the grill over the weekend was awesome. Well, that was more than a single ten spot. I digress. Nevertheless, thanks for turning me on to this, I think I'm really going to enjoy it.
Jingles please do more, it seems a really fun game.
Even 3 years later it's a very fun game! If you're still looking for somewhere to get your Atlantic Fleet fix, you should try my channel, I do daily videos on Atlantic Fleet. I have a finished RN Campaign and many custom battles.
So... Dynamic campaign series?
i would hope so :-)
make it happen Jingles!
AbyssalReClass
Yes pls! And I wanna see some submarines :D
There is a dynamic campaign called "Battle of the Atlantic." It's pretty fun, too.
Love the choice of game, Jingles. Please consider it for a regular Saturday appearance.
More of this game Jingles.Looks very very good. Thank you for showing us.
If you want more Atlantic Fleet, I recommend my channel. I do daily uploads and I have a completed RN Campaign and many custom battles.
Hey Jingles. In case you want a REALLY in depth game like this, you should check out Rule The Waves.
It's a very in depth game that takes place during the early 20th century where ships were obsolete as soon as they were finished building ^^
It is however...not a very grapical game...But it's the fact that you design your own ships and all that is quite awesome.
Maybe not youtube worthy material (For most people...I watched a whole series of about 40 hours from TortugaPower) but if you want something to do on the side :)
When you mentioned that real life tactics helped you to play this game, you instantly sold this game to me.
This one had been on my list for a while. guess I'll finally have to jump at it.
I just spent a few hours watching old War Thunder Mighty Jingles replays (Mustang Sally, Rule Britannia, & Ace in a Day) and, I REALLY enjoyed them. It was an innocent time..... I wish he'd do another if for no other reason than just to blow our minds! What a treat that would be.
I watched a documentary on this, the Captain of Glorious was a total idiot, he was badgering the Admiral during the Norway campaign to go home so he could "expedite some courts-martial" instead of doing his job....
Commanders being complete idiots was surprisingly common during the war. Well, most wars.
Not to mention that said court martialed commander was only got that because he was asked to carry impossible orders. There's also the fact that he didn't even fucking put out any CAP EVEN WHEN THE WEATHER WAS PERFECT FOR AIR OPS. Guy D'Oyly-Hughes was a fucking shithead.
Wasn't the Glorious unable to put up any planes as all her aircraft were
struck down and had all munitions removed as RAF squadrons had landed
on her during the evacuation of Norway in order to save their planes?
M. Ripper-Wallace Yeah, instead of listening to his air crew and launching his attackers then recovering the RAF fighters, stowing them, he stowed his attackers and then Sharnhorst and Gnesnau came and said hello
MrJohnycomelately21 Never believe in what cheap ass documentaries tell you. Most of them are horrible. Unless they are BBC better read a book.
Anyone else think jingles should give WoT- Blitz a try? It's got no arty :P
I would say yes as a major blitz player, but to regrind all the lines?
Sayten Blitz Maybe if they gave him a test account :)
FistStomp _ no
nope
FistStomp _ Yeah, and it's available on PC too.
Boris Victoria and their are people on the pic servers
Just in case you guys didn't know, this game is a mobile port that's available both on android and iOS. Also, the game before this was called "Pacific Fleet", and it's basically the same game but set in the pacific theater
The ships in this game are beautifully recreated. I'm impressed with the details especially showing how the ships are damaged.
I hope they would come out with a Pacific Fleet for the naval war in Asia Pacific.
@Johannes Liechtenauer Pacific Fleet is the original game. Atlantic Fleet is the sequel.
Jingles!!! At this time it was Großadmiral Erich Raeder, not Karl Dönitz. You so silly...
YES I RECOMMENDED IT!!!!
HE LISTENED TO MEH!!!!
Brilliant video and a superb game! We need more of this game Mr Jingles sir.
If you want more Atlantic Fleet, I have 60+ videos on Atlantic Fleet, that number increases every single day.
Just got this for the iPad and it's brilliant! Thanks for showing this 😀
can u make this a regular event Jingles say 1 battle per week or more if you have the time or say every saturday if poss
loved the video keep up the good work many thanks . steelwarrior65.
How about 1 battle per day? If that sounds interesting to you, you should take a look at my channel. I do daily uploads, and I have a completed RN Campaign and also many custom battles.
make it a seires JINGLES
I have a completed RN Campaign series. I plan to make a German Campaign series and also Battle Of The Atlantic series for both sides.
I love this game had it for ages but glad to see jingles playing it
If you love this game, then consider falling in love with my channel. I have over 60 AF videos, and I upload daily.
it is a great game, I've played lots of hours in it! great to see Jingles doing a video on it =)
huh, this game looks interesting...
MegaRazorback very interesting. you can plot your own gun range and easily
heh
MegaRazorback As a person who has played it, its hard wnough Before enabling wind. Good luck.
ok then!
It's really interesting!
Omfg, No views, never been so early
How about 290? :/ Oh, UA-cam, please, don't ever change
Jingles I bought this game right after you uploaded this video and its a lot of fun.
Please keep playing this Jingles, it was really entertaining!
If you're looking for Atlantic Fleet gameplay, I recommend my channel. Daily uploads, completed RN Campaign, custom battles, and I hope, at least somewhat entertaining commentary!
Tin cans are awesome weapons, several DDs and DEs chased away the Yamato at the Battle off Samar (Leyte Gulf). I felt happy to have a DD screen my ship off of Hiaphong Harbor in 69-71 tours
lol! I love when Jingles talks all that sailor talk. i have no clue what hes saying but its still really cool to hear haha!
was waiting for you to play this.. great game
Thank you for telling us about this game, I came to buy it thanks to you and rewrote History of the 24th May 1941, were Bismarck gor sunk by Prince of Wales and Hood survived the battle, thus sinking Prinz Eugen too... Quite funny.
Prince of Wales set Bismarck on fire several times until the German Battlewagon went boom out of the water !
This was great to watch jingles. please keep making these. Maybe you could play through the campaigns on Saturday
If you're looking for AF content, head to my channel. I do daily videos on AF and I currently have over 60 AF videos.
My Great-Uncle served on the Arrow, thankfully I think he wasn't on board when the Fort La Montee went up AFAIK, but I know he was on board around 1942.
Hey Jingles, I am glad you started playing AF, its been one of my go-to games for a while. I do have a tip about firing torpedo spreads. I found that the it is best to fire one torpedo just ahead of the suggested heading and then rest to the rear of it. as the ships maneuver they tend to lose speed in the turns so the risk of over shooting is much greater. Cheers! Looking forward to more AF in the future.
If you're looking for more AF, I suggest you have a look at my channel. Daily videos on AF and over 60 AF videos already uploaded.
Your welcome jingles i saw an ad for that and i thought u might like it so i recommended it have fun!
this is what i would discribe as casual saturday, asome jingles
Hi Jingles! as a player of Atlantic Fleet, I really recommend playing the Battle of the Atlantic (the dynamic campaign for those who don't know). It's awesome, especially the British Campaign. You really have to make a strategy and tactically place your ships to prevent those pesky U-boats from getting the most of the merchants. You can play the German Campaign aswell, but you just need a little less brain power for it. I play BoTA more than any of the other play areas. BoTA is no easy play, definitely not "noob-friendly"
I have a RN Campaign Series if you're interested, I haven't made a series on the Battle Of The Atlantic.
Hi Jingles just spotted 1of my Dads ships he served on in WW2 HMS Chaser carrier escort not come across the other 1 yet HMS Tynedale he served on 3 during the war but he wouldnt talk about the 3rd ship, he served in the Med, North Atlantic and Artic convoys, sadly he passed away in 2007 the day before his 85th birthday
Series please. Look great. And give you more chances to dazzle us with you historical cleverness.
If you're looking for a series on Atlantic Fleet, I recommend my RN Campaign series.
This looks really good!
Jingles, like the recommendation and bought the game. Finished my training and could not wait to get at the twins (Scharnhorst and Gneisenau). Had a go at single mission 5, Action off Lofoten. Result was both the German ships were sunk with Renown having to be scuttled due to heavy damage at the last turn. Both DD survived. Also turned my hand to the Kormoran vs Sydney. Managed to finish the mission in 4-5 turns with the Kormoran sunk by my initial torpedo spread from Sydney and 4 salvos of HE. I think my WoW training has paid dividends!
I've been playing Atlantic Fleet for about a year.on iOS and every mode is just as fun. Battle of the Atlantic mode can be a great series starter as it can take quite awhile.
Just saw in that list of ships HMS Marne. That was one of the ships my Grandad was on. I'd love to see it in WoW.
Thanks Jingles . am buying this game as it looks amazing and fun to play.
something I would love to see is a game about the HMCS Haida, the world War two canadien tribal class destroyer, which just so happens to be the most heavily decorated ship in the canadien navy's history
I made extensive use of Tribal Class destroyers in my RN Campaign Series, you should totally check it out!
"Hey, you got World of Warships in my XCOM 2!"
"You got XCOM 2 on my World or Warships!"
Nice little game you've found there, Jingles. Looks like fun on a bun, with enough historical classes to keep a nerd like myself occupied for quite a while. Thank you bringing this to my attention.
If you're still interested in this game, you should have a look at my channel. I do daily videos on it and I already have a finished RN Campaign and many custom battles.
Other people have said it already, but it couldn't hurt saying it one more time: This looks to be a good game to make a series out of, your expertise on naval combat would make it a very interesting watch.
If you're looking for a series on AF, I have a RN Campaign Series, you should check it out.
FINALLY! Thanks jingles
It’s funny how the AI Scharnhorst scores that first hit. In real life, the Scharnhorst, and the Queen Elizabeth, are tied for the longest scored hit on an enemy surface vessel at 26,000 yards. Queen Elizabeth’s hit was on the Giulio Cesare. Scharnhorst’s longest range hit was at on, ironically enough, HMS glorious.
finally, jingles plays this awesome game
For more videos on this, to use your word, "awesome" game, take a look at my channel. Daily uploads, custom battles and a finished RN Campaign.
I would be very happy if this became a series.
If you're looking for a series on AF, I recommend my RN Campaign Series. 19 episodes with a bit of everything!
Heard Jingle's recommendation, immediately checked my Amazon wallet and spent the last ten. No regrets.
This is good please play some more of this.
Hey Jingles plzz make more videos on this game its really good and fun to watch
Hey Jingles I love your videos ..and i love that you are hosting ..good job! on the Tank museum clip..im a tv host and i mean it ..very natural..Cheers, Billy
Uncle Jingles remember: Germans put letters into words and names to be used. So Gneisenau uses the -G- too.
Petra Meyer You know how jingles is with non-English words lol. but at least he didn't call it Dave.
Michael Pettigrew he kindly let me explain to him how Nashorn is pronouced once.
Jingles is changing history.
Why am I not surprised? ;)
Wow how did I miss this one... Cheers!
Friendly Tip: Smoke doesn't have to cover the ship to mess with the enemies radar/spotters, the ship just has to be emitting smoke. So if the Scharnhorst or Gneisenau are targeting Glorious, and Glorious is not making smoke, the Germans will still be able to find the range, even if one of the escort's smoke is covering her. It may be different though; I just got the PC version, been playing mostly on mobile.
I think it works the same way on PC too.
