  • Tony Jeffries shares 4 ways on how to save and conserve energy in boxing training or in a match for you to last longer. Boxing is a full-body workout where you use every single one of your muscles every time you hit the bag, sparring or fighting. Saving energy and conditioning is very important in boxing to last longer rounds and sessions.

Lmfao!!!! If you want to last longer you have to bang more,,,, and I don't mean bang the punching bag I'm tlaking about your girl. Do it daily multiple times a day that like anything else builds endurance. If that doesn't work think of math or something nasty,,,, your mind will wonder but don't wonder so far out that you won't be in the moment

    *1. STOP TENSING YOUR MUSCLES!*
Whether it’s tensing your arms for power punches, or flexing your legs or tensing your core when you don’t need too. Change up wear your punch from; you don’t need to throw every shot (especially feints) from the shoulder, you can throw short feint jabs from the elbow or when measuring distance you can lower your lead hand and leave it half out instead of being on your chin.
Also good tip is to use your momentum when moving. You don’t need to stand upright like a pillar and use your legs to move. You can sway using your shoulders and change angles on your toes without exerting energy by flexing your legs and pushing off to move.

As a kid, my father would not teach me boxing. He was a good amatuer boxer in England around the war years.
But he became a " Christian " and didn't believe in fighting.
Well, I was a skinny kid growing up in the 80's in Australia.
I was bullied and beatin up many times.
In my 20's I got into martial arts.
I trained for at least 12 years in Wing Chun, Kick boxing and Karate'.
I wish I got into boxing at an early age.
I am now 50years old and have a personal boxing trainer and have learned so much !
I have learned first , that fitness in boxing is incredibly important.
If you're gassed, then you lose.
I feel I can now do what I should have done 30 years ago.
Young fellows, learn boxing. Train hard.
    Enjoy it.
    Listen to these videos.
Thank you so much for sharing your skills ! 😁😃
By the way, my Dad is now 91years old and I love him dearly.
    I understand his beliefs.
    I have forgiven him fully.
Thanks to anyone reading all this.
    Peace !

When I,m sparring, first of all my partner's way faster than me, and of course can box very well, as I am only amature style.
Come round 3 I,m starting to get tired (3 mins round) but some how I tend to get my second wind, as they say!!!
Yes not wasting punches is good one, and dancing, and last but not least, Breathing!!!!
