I have started sparring recently and have an honest question about fear. I have no fear about being hit or hurt, but the fear of being knocked out is very much present. Any tips on getting over this mental hurdle?
Tony,I would like the asked about the weights of the punching bag, did heavy is better for training punching power???
Tips on sparring more experienced fighters?
How about a video on how to defend the tricks you show in this video. Thanks Tony
Tips on an effective clinch?
Feining being tired or hurt to get them to come in over aggressively and counter with a hard combo. In my few sparring sessions so far this worked pretty well.
Not great if you make an error though 😅
Sometimes youre so tired u cant even fake it.
What happens if you fool the ref though, I don't want to see hands waving me off?
@@tonytouch7823 Obviously don't feint being completely done. But fighters can pick up on body language and using it against them is a good way to counter. Get rocked with a decent shot and act like you are backing up because of it, as if it hurt you enough to go on your heels. Your opponent 9 times outta ten is gonns come with over anxious heat trying to finish the job, that's when they get sloppy.
The only thing i don't like about this it could cause s bad stoppage/TKO
Would love to watch you breakdown a few of your fights and what was going through your mind during key moments.
Keep these videos coming man, incredibly helpful as always.
Yes 💯!
I love your boxing lessons, thx!
If u don’t mind, could u please share this vid on ya social media please. Will really help me out :) All good if not 👊🏻
@@Tony_Jeffries been sharing them to my friends since when I found you
Tony, Now why should anyone share your stuff for free when you charge $500/hr you putz? Take that "Alpha Brain" rectally you wusse, which you probably already do!
@@Tony_Jeffries how pathetic, you're begging for free exposure, then turning around and over-charging clients-- you are a greedy miser.
@@mikevaldez7684 your a funny guy
Another terrific round of super useful and practically functional tips mate, thanks and do keep them coming. 'Best coaching vid’s on the internet!!
I think it would be awesome to hear you talk about positioning, distancing, ways of provoking and setting up counter attacks
Master Tony you got me binge watching your channel every single morning of the training day! I love it ❤❤❤
Look Tony, I canny box eggs but your video’s are second to none. Glad to see you teaching your trade with such enthusiasm!
My new Pro Box maize bag is going to get its totties after these lessons 🥊
easily one of the best boxing videos ever on youtube. Love your content, Tony!!
95% of the times the rounds start with a jab, so always look out for that jab when the round begins
And if they throw a lazy jab you can slip it and counter cross to the head. It’s very hard for the opponent to block or dodge
so the next trick should be always throwing the right hand first then because opponent expects the jab :)
@@freddyboy8251 no don’t do that. To throw the cross effectively you have to be in range because it has a lot less distance than the jab. Instead you will end up leaning in to land that punch and will be likely to be hit with an uppercut or hook counter. There is a reason the jab is the most common first punch of a fight, it is very effective. Hope this helps! 👍
@@freddyboy8251 or you can fake the jab and go cross to the body, that's gonna get him most of the times :)
@@kaidavidsonnyika8313 i gotcha man i was like half joking lol

This man is the most helpful boxer on UA-cam
I was taught by the Cousin of Lionel Rose and an American who was training with BoBo Olsen - I love your vids - takes me back - you are a real Champion
I love every tips. It's really helpful.
Just what I was looking for🥊🥊🥊
Wow. you floored me dude. The coaches I had, They showed me 4 out those 10 and that was only because we sat down and talked about it. I was doing the what if you do this thing and then they spilled. I think it comes down to you wanting the knowlege, and those guys judging who gets it's.
Best video ever please do part 2🔥🔥🔥🔥
Your videos gave me so much more confident on just training the 1 2 on the heavy bag for half an hour a day without feeling anxious about people looking at me not looking "cool" hahahaha
I really do have that fear, the fear of me not looking "cool" lol
Jaffa’s energy towards training people is admirable like legend 💪🏻
This is one of the best boxing channels on youtube, and the instruction is excellent. Thanks Tony.
Thanks ma man, means alot
love ur tips and tricks, big fan!
yeah, i love that slap the hand away punch-em in the face move. works well in a street fight too. even better id say. no gloves. also love the other moves. i believe the better mover wins the fight. who has their feet in the right spot. power comes with the feet being in the right spot. look at Roy Jones Jr. iv seen ur fights as well. plenty of lateral movement. glad to see u made a channel for people to learn from. got Mad respect for how u fought. i respect all fighter. nothing like getting hit in the face or hitting someone in the face. spot yes. game no. great channel.
Excellent video on the psychology of boxing and pro tips. Your Master Class to me is the best investment that I have ever spend my money on and enjoy every video content thus far. Keep on rocking Tony!!
Wow! Nice to hear that mate
Brilliant video, thanks!
Great stuff🥊❤️
Some very good tips , I’m new to understand the art of boxing and enjoyed your videos
You should make a video on how to anticipate feints, apart from having experience if there's any trick to seeing when your opponent is looking to bait you out.
Milkywhimp, so now you're trying to "advise" Tony? You putz
@@mikevaldez7684 Ha, what?

Your channel is class, I train at a local gym in Newcastle ‘men at work’ we have pictures of you on the wall, real pride in you as a northern lad myself
You Da Man, Tony thanks.
Hi Tony, I was advised to check out your vids. Really nice stuff you put out there. One little thing- well is it in a fight?- after the break you did what is perfectly what a break is supposed to result in, get out of the clinch/entanglement and carry on. It is the stop command that makes coming forward at once again to be against the rules that the referee should observe. It is innthe making of the vid no doubt since this is standard procedure, however not all of us know that. Thanks a bunch for sharing your skills and experience André
I’m so inspired by your videos
Fantastic video. Great tricks, from a guy who has used all of them! Great.

I am a kickboxer and your mental tips is something I haven't seen anywhere else on youtube. Thank you Tony!
Nice! Thnx.
Very good tutorial
You just earned a subscription sir 👌🏿😁😎
Every single one of this tricks can also be used outside of boxing context with kicks or grappling. One of many reasons why besides wrestling, boxing is a must have if you want to learn how to fight. Awesome video, Tony
Haven't treid these outside boxing mate - have you tried this?
@@Tony_Jeffries Yes sir i did, especially that elbow push up and pull down the lead hand. Nothing really change but you can also use low kicks or shoot in for takedown instead of punches.
