      @brea Griffiths, thank you for sharing. Since March 2020, I have been suffering with many strange and weird symptoms. These numerous symptoms have been ongoing over the months. I thought I was going mad. At around August, a friend mentioned he heard about a syndrome called long haul Covid. I joined an online self help group, and saw that Many others mirrored my symptoms. I was/am convinced I have long haul Covid. I have experienced at least 15 differing symptoms. Thankfully the intensity of some symptoms have waned. However, after doing a bit of research, I'm theorising that the Coronavirus has affected my limbic system/vagus nerve and has caused my fatigue, muscle pain, dizziness, nerve pains, body aches, headaches, internal tremors, G. I. symptoms, weight loss etc. These last 7 or so months have been a nightmare and I'm not sure how much more I can take.

      I hope you don't blame yourself for what happened. It's not your fault your kids had to shuffle homes. You couldn't have known how to solve it until you figured out what was wrong. Thank you for sharing your story. It's heart breaking, but at the same time inspiring. I have lost 9 years at this point. Nothing works long term and i keep rebounding. I think limbic system is the missing piece.

    I know it's been 2 years since this video was released... but I am beyond happy that you found DNRS and healed. I love how you say at the end for those of us who have suffered in this life... it's heart warming. My brother took his own life last year because of his ailments which doctors fobbed off. The hurt we all feel because of the people that told him "it's in his head", we'll never forget. We found dnrs when his mind was so far gone. We didn't know he'd take his own life. We love you my brother ❤ so I will help anyone I come into contact with on my life to get on to dnrs to heal and be whole again.

      I'm so thrilled to hear this Elizabeth, praise God for your new found health! And thank you for your heart-warming words, it is so strange to now have such validation that what I went through was real and terrible, because as most people with this illness, most of the time the illness is invisible and people can't grasp how severe the struggle truly is. And to be honest my videos don't do my journey justice, it was pretty horrifying at times :(. I think I need to write a book, lol, even just to share some of the situations I got myself into like a man with a large fishing knife in his belt approaching me in my camp out in the middle of nowhere by myself. I had a few close calls out there alone with men that could have ended badly, but at the time the risk seemed justified to keep myself alive and functional!

      Carolyn Gutman Dey Hi there! I relate to sho much of what you’re saying. I’ve been doing DNRS for about 7 months and it’s been really hard for me to not talk about my ITs too.
      I’ve actually done other things for that which I can tell you about so that it hasn’t hurt my Retraining.
      My name on here says visualizations because I record and upload mine for anyone who needs them! If you go to my page you’ll see all the video visualizations. Then if you click on the description drop down of any of them you can see what else I’ve done to help with the ITs and POPs like you mentioned.
      The best way to connect as an actual person is on my Instagram. We have a good community going on there! It’s @neural_retraining.
      instagram.com/neural_retraining
      I know what you mean about not appearing to be sick. If someone spent a minute in my body they would want to immediately jump out, but I look like I’m fine.
      My worst issue is food sensitivities. I literally can’t eat anything without reacting. It’s finally starting to calm down somewhat, but only if I’m extremely consistent, which is very difficult being alone with my little kids all day!
      I hear you... I love to laugh too and there are nights where I have kid in bed wishing it would just all end... that’s not the real us! We will get our real selves out of this with our hard work! ❤️

    • @NeuralRetraining
      @NeuralRetraining 3 роки тому +2

      Carolyn Gutman Dey I completely get that. I’m also raising my kids in the same state you described. It’s so hard to switch our mindsets when this is the new “normal.” I bet you could easily just create an account just to “hang out” with us on IG! For help with the visualizations, listen to mine that I uploaded in this UA-cam page any time! I try to upload at least one a week. It helps me to know people like you who have stayed strong through this all of these years. I feel like almost no one understands!

      Borellia and Bartonella each have their own energy signals that can be quite negative or destructive. It’s not simply a matter of mind over matter or brain retraining for many ( most?) when dealing with them. You need lots of tools in the tool kit especially if it’s a chronic condition!

    I have been though ALL of this and am still at the beginning of healing. This gives me so much hope because many days I feel hopeless. Still reacting to pretty much every single food, but I KNOW that this is the answer. I was supposed to go to a DNRS seminar in April and I was actually feeling a little bit better back then. @@DDumbrille actually no, the more common normal everyday life stresses that people face - relationships, expectations we place on ourselves and others, finances, self worth, letting go of being in control, worrying, fearing failure and fearing change were far more challenging than the environmental sensitivities. Actually, getting to those root stressors and rewiring new beliefs and expectations were the foundation for all the environmental sensitivities going done. When we are struggling with longterm illness we can't even remember what it feels like to be healthy, so it is hard to muster up motivation when you don't even know how big the reward is on the other side. Hi Brea, this is super inspiring! Looks like we've had pretty similar journeys, at least in more recent times. I believe we've had a few exchanges in the mould groups over the years too. I'm a little over three months into DNRS. I've been dealing with hell toxin throughout this time though which has made it particularly (immensely) challenging for me to fully surrender to the process due to its aggressive nature & how quickly it can spread like wildfire when left unchecked. Was this something you've ever had to deal with/have any tips for? I'm also struggling with some of the more "in-your-face" symptoms, that I'm struggling to shut off from or discern between awareness & body scanning. I'd love to know how diligent you were with POP's too, & to what extent you interjected them & how. How long was it before symptoms started to ease? Sorry to bombard you but would love some help ironing out a few kinks ☺️ 🙏

    • @NeuralRetraining
      @NeuralRetraining 3 роки тому +4

      I'm right there with you. I constantly have to tell myself that it's an old pathway. I have very "in your face" ITs as well. I've been doing DNRS for about 7 months and I've had success and dips over that time. I still have a very long way to go. I've felt that I am as diligent as I can be with POPs, and I also know that we don't have to be perfect. We shouldn't judge ourselves!

      I fully recovered using DNRS and just happened to see they released a "deeper dive" supplemental program - I think it's $75 which seems to help with this stuff. retrainingthebrain.com/a-deeper-dive-into-dnrs/ You may also want to watch the "gub gub" video from the original series (a personal favorite of mine) on naming stuff and associations. PS. Hope this comes of in a friendly manner for anyone reading 🤗 - It's not fun or sustainable for people who share their recovery stories to be asked to compare-the-symptom-or-struggle (how intense, the exact timeline) with each person, which is a POP, nor is it helpful for the person asking (we are unique in what got us there, the way out is similar, and no journey is identical or linear). DNRS has great paid coaches, too, for troubleshooting tricky stuff. I also had help from an outside coach, too. You've got this!! 🤗

      Feeling like you're doing it wrong is completely natural. That's part of the LSI. With DNRS it's perseverance over perfection, so keep going! You may want to consider signing up for a Living DNRS class, or working with a coach to finetune your practise. The community forum is also an amazing wealth of information. You can go on there and ask questions, other retrainers are very generous with giving really good advice. Don't give up. You've got this.

    • @kayonnewebley7123
      @kayonnewebley7123 Рік тому

      Not being able to come up with a positive scenario (i.e. zero imagination) is really common and is as a result of the limbic system impairment (LSI) itself. It gets better as you stick with the programme. Noah, I'd definitely suggest you post this question on the community forum (although you've probably done that by now, given that you posted this message a year ago). There are definitely different approaches to take to address that issue, and other retrainers on the forum will be more than happy to give you some really good suggestions. You've got this!

      Everyone has a different story. I don't really know why things started in college but I know there were certain events that tipped the balance along the way, with the last perfect storm in 2015 of child labour followed by mold exposure two months later driving things into something ugly. After that there were many many events that just reinforced and worsened things in certain ways. As always, these stories are complex and can't be fully portrayed in a 10 min video. I have elaborated somewhat on my story through videos on my own youtube channel, so if you are curious to know more, please subscribe!

      We have created our program with our clients in mind. Which can be done from the comfort of your own home on your own time, at a pace that works for you. It consists of 12 hours of instructional vides.
      Once you have completed the videos it will require daily dedication to applying the concepts you learned in the videos. This would require committing to 60 min per day for at least 6 months. The 60 minutes can be broken into smaller segments such as 4 x 15 min per day. We provide you with a step by step instructions and a recipe to follow. We also have a variety of support services to gain insight, community and accountability.
      We do not offer in person seminars, and instead offer our program online at a more affordable rate. If you have any questions please reach out to our team 1800 947 9389. They can speak to you about our program and you can choose if its a good fit for you.

    • @breakatrin
      @breakatrin 3 роки тому +2

      Hi Kent! I wouldn't call myself a religious person at all because to me that means something negative (following rituals, living in a box of rules to earn God's love, etc). You do not have to have the same faith as me to do DNRS, but my personal belief (not DNRS) is that trusting that you have God with you through the journey to bring you strength, joy, peace, love, etc is extremely helpful.

While the program is not taught from a religious platform, DNRS happily assists individuals of any and all walks of faith, and some find it beneficial to incorporate their faith in their implementation of DNRS. Congratulations on your recovery, Brea!"
