- In this episode of Compounding Center Connections, compounding pharmacist Jay Gill discusses chronic inflammatory response syndrome (CIRS) with Dr. Scott McMahon from Whole World Health Care. CIRS can cause symptoms like chronic fatigue, headaches, stomach aches, muscle pain, neuropathic pain, shortness of breath, and cognitive issues in patients who have been exposed to chronic mold or bacteria from water damage in buildings or workplaces. Dr. McMahon explains how the innate immune system dysfunction can lead to CIRS. He also reviews the Shoemaker protocol for treating CIRS and the use of vasoactive intestinal peptide nasal spray (VIP). VIP Nasal Spray is a relatively new treatment option with minimal side effects that can help prevent brain atrophy in CIRS patients. He also discusses the VIP test and α-MSH test, along with NeuroQuant, an advanced technique to quantify localized brain atrophy.

Oh my gosh!!! Thank you so much for helping those of us who suffer!!! It's way worse than most will ever understand.
Getting ready to start Vip next week. Been a long journey!
How've you been so far on the VIP?
Can you share briefly how it went and about how much it costs overall.
Where did you purchase VIP, please?
@@carollandrua2431Its prescribed
Thank you
What efforts are being made to get CIRS a medical billing code?
more efforts are spent on ridiculous non carrier paid labs, and one size fits all treatment protocols.
@@drgeraldrappdude you need serious help. Your obsession with a dr that is literally saving lives is creepy.
Thank you thank you so much for this information. I’m not getting the right care from my dr because they all say “ This is Colorado, we don’t have mold”. 🙄
Therefore they aren’t even very educated or have experience in dealing with Botox in illnesses. So thank you so much for this short vid. I’m sending it to all my drs.
there is a clinic in Colorado that treats mold as well as other 'strange' illnesses.
Finally clear about CIRS, thank you❤❤
I have chronic Lyme disease and had mold exposure in my house at one time. What do see as the relationship between these two? I’ve tested positive for MARCONS and this indicates I have CIRS
What is the relationship of cirs and the cytokime storm to mast cell activation syndrome?
Would VIP be a suitable trial for sever headaches?
Depends. To get VIP, you're going to need a prescription, so you're going to need a doctor who thinks you have a reason to take VIP. First you should get labs done to see if you have low VIP. If you do, and you have a chronic condition, and that condition is caused by inability to escape cell danger response even though the cause of the response is gone (biotoxins, virus, head trauma, etc), then giving your body VIP may allow your innate immune system see the threat is over and escape the systemic cell danger response. In this case, the headaches were probably be a symptom of the neuroinflammation caused by the CDR. ALSO, the chronic condition you have in that case is probably just CIRS. So do the regular CIRS diagnostic process. If you're having extreme headaches, get a referral to a neurologist. Your insurance should pay for the MRI and neuroquant analysis. Plug the neuro quant into the survivingmold website for $25. The visual contrast sensitivity test can be done at home. Look at the CIRS symptoms and see how many of those match you.
Don't take VIP if you don't have low VIP. Also, it does you know good to take VIP before you remove your other sources of inflammation first.
Did I miss where I could purchase VIP in this podcast? Does anyone know where I can purchase it?
Hi Carol. VIP Nasal Spray is a prescription item. You can have your prescriber send a prescription to The Compounding Center, VA or a compounding pharmacy near you.
Where can we get vip?
I have purchased from Apothocary pharmacy out of Colorado
VIP is the cure!
How you been on VIP?
Blessings
Can someone tell me where to purchase VIP?

Not healing after reaching the breaking point is incorrect. I have seen so many people heal after being chemical and mold-sensitive.
@thecompoundingcenter @scottmcmahon what is the actual mcg/ml for the dosage for those needing some help tolerating CSM/treatment? Regular dose sounds like 500mcg/ml but I didn't catch the exact math on the lower dose-- was it 5 mcg/ml for around 1 month @ 4x day?
Thank you for the excellent video
I’m on day 4 of VIP
I’m down half a stone….
I’ve spent £365 thousand in 20

Is the VIP helping?
@@huna1950 Huna, I'm not quite sure what you mean by "I'm down half a stone." Is this a term in England? Do you mean weight? I just started taking VIP so I was wondering if you feel that it is really helping you and how can you tell? Any side effects? Thanks for your response and time! :) Blessings.
Thanks for sharing. I am uk too. Did you get it from a doctor?
