True. Capaldi was such great fit for the role. You can actually see his passion for Dr who shining throw his performance. Sadly, his seasons suffers under bad writing or repeating story plots. But they are still enough brilliant episodes and scenes.
I've seen a guy empty an entire bowl into his tea and then attempt to drink it without stirring. It was both the most satisfying and the most deplorable thing I've ever seen.
I don't hate 13, but God do I miss 12. Edit: looking back on it two years later, I do actually hate the 13th Doctor. Jodie is giving it 110%, but goddamn, the writing is letting her down so hard. Miss you every day Peter.
I remember when people kept mentioning things such as “10th is my favorite” or “11th is my doctor” and I didn’t understand how they could choose one over the others as “their doctor”... then Capaldi came along😭♥️✨
Tennant will ALWAYS be my Doctor - there will never be another like him, but Capaldi was my second Doctor. I couldn't even watch Smith, I HATED everything he did as The Doctor, same with Jodie (though that has more to do with Chibnall's utterly horrific writing).
8:48 "My name is Doctor Who." "Is' not, is it?" "I like it." I like to imagine 12th Doctor is the "Dr. Who" played by Peter Cushing in the two Dalek films, just taking place outside the series. At some point while he's got a moustache. There's definitely a resemblance.

that moment when he's fixing his sleeves when he's showing bill the tardis and says "tardis for short" is so inexplicably attractive??? the confidence? the swag? the charm? hoo boy
"You are safe in here, and you will always be". The doctor has forgot the many, many times where either something attacked them in the Tardis, or the tardis itself tried to kill them. If she is safe only because of the Doctor, then everywhere is safe, even the Dalek's spaceship...
In the Classic series, the TARDIS could project a field of "Temporal Grace" as The Doctor called it, making weapons of any kind just not function inside the TARDIS. Hostile actions of any kind just wouldn't work either. There was apparently a nod to it during Eleven's run, Eleven saying it didn't work anymore. But if The Doctor ever repaired the function it would be essentially true, the inside of the TARDIS would be a total safe zone again. (At least at The Doctor's discretion because it can be switched off.)

It would have been very wrong, that definitely wouldn't be 12 minutes
True. Capaldi was such great fit for the role. You can actually see his passion for Dr who shining throw his performance. Sadly, his seasons suffers under bad writing or repeating story plots. But they are still enough brilliant episodes and scenes.
Has anyone else noticed 12s hair gets steadily messier and messier as the show goes on.
He was very uptight in Series 8, his first series. He lightened up in the subsequent two series, and his hair changed accordingly.
Me: In my opinion five sugars is the max you put in tea and-
Doctor: puts six sugars in
Me: *_triggered_*
oof
For me 5 is the bare minimum for coffee, otherwise i cant even tolerate it.
@@builder396 ew. No sugar in the coffee pls
Oh no, it was far more than six, if you listen closely when it cuts to the woman you can still hear sugar being popped into the tea
I've seen a guy empty an entire bowl into his tea and then attempt to drink it without stirring. It was both the most satisfying and the most deplorable thing I've ever seen.
5:57 Best moment of this video by far. The tone of the robber is priceless
this is a ROBBERY!
this is MY ROBBERY
All of the Husbands of River Song all of his dialogue was genius. Coupled with her genius dialogue too
yep.
That is by far the best Christmas special ever, don't @ me
Ok and I agree
Criticise Moffat all you want but fella wrote sharp moving dialogues, its beyond this world.
"Don't look in that mirror, it's absolutely furious" is a line I overlooked the first time I saw that episode, and regret deeply. It's amazing
Doctor: where's Clara?
Clara-Dalek: I am a Dalek!
Doctor: yes, you're a Dalek. Where's Clara?
5:04 this line is always so comforting for me. I always watch DW when the going gets rough because it does make me feel safe and comforted.
@@mariamihabbro. you right, but you replied to your own comment lol.
I don't hate 13, but God do I miss 12.
Edit: looking back on it two years later, I do actually hate the 13th Doctor. Jodie is giving it 110%, but goddamn, the writing is letting her down so hard. Miss you every day Peter.
Same.
His /time/ didn't last as long as I would've liked to.
I miss 12 so much
Was that a time pun?
@@tardistime6857 me too
Doctor: "You're not a young woman anymore"
Clara: "Yes, I am!"
"Well, you don't look it"
"Yes, I do!"
"That's right, keep your spirits up"
😂😂😂
the mirror be like
“Are you out of your mind? No I’m inside a Dalek.” 😂😂😂 I completely forgot about that part.
4:54 I love Peter's look of absolute excitement and fanboyism at being able to introduce the TARDIS.
“Do you not recognize the sign... of ODIN?!?”
_flips yo-yo_
I remember when people kept mentioning things such as “10th is my favorite” or “11th is my doctor” and I didn’t understand how they could choose one over the others as “their doctor”... then Capaldi came along😭♥️✨
I understood that i've chosen 10 as my favorite because of David. But now my thought is i love the Doctor, doesn't matter which one.
Rose Tyler yeah, the doctor is iconic and amazing no matter what! Long live the doctor
Tennant will ALWAYS be my Doctor - there will never be another like him, but Capaldi was my second Doctor. I couldn't even watch Smith, I HATED everything he did as The Doctor, same with Jodie (though that has more to do with Chibnall's utterly horrific writing).
Same for me
5:32 finally, she realises how much she means to him.
there will never be another like him, noone could pull off his trademark wit sarcasm, eyebrows and genuine love. he truly made the role his own
“Not one person on this ship, not one living thing is worth you”
“Or you”
God I love it.
4:06
The faint ‘I am the Doctor’ theme playing in the background just makes this scene all the more iconic
"Sit down and google!"
Hahaha
"You think this is over?"
"Ya."
*Gun breaks via Sonic Screwing around*
I especially like the little hand motion he does
“Your bomb’s gone. Your plan’s finished. And look over there. There’s UNIT, on the way to arrest your head office.”
Never getting the memory of Peter running across a roof yelling big sexy woman at a dinosaur out of my head 😂
"-can you just hurry up please or I'll hit you with my shoe?"
Legendary.
12th doctor watchs Memri Tv confirmed
8:48 "My name is Doctor Who." "Is' not, is it?" "I like it."
I like to imagine 12th Doctor is the "Dr. Who" played by Peter Cushing in the two Dalek films, just taking place outside the series. At some point while he's got a moustache. There's definitely a resemblance.
"And this is my spoon."
10:57 (River realizing she's been tricked) *gasp* you B-
good way to keep it family friendly lol
*”no I just saved you and let everyone suffocate.....
hahah”*
12 was basically 9, 10, 11 all in one with a flood of Scottish.
He’s one of my faves
10 was also Scottish m technically speaking.
@@trans-dragonroger1948 David was Scottish, 10 was English with an RP accent
@@hdawn2708 I know, hence “technically”. I’m not saying that 10 was Scottish, even if he would use something similar to his natural accent. (And pls don’t call me a “fake fan”)

How did you leave out the guitar solo on the tank?!
My fave will always be when he shows bill the TARDIS. You can tell that Capaldi had so much fun with it. It was his first time properly introducing someone to the TARDIS.
The person who disliked must have had their phone upside down
Australians.
Yeesh, 66 Australians who had their phone upside down now.
It was a dalek
I love 12 so much and him separating with Clara makes me die every. God. Damn. Time. And I have to watch all of his series over and over again it’s so good
9:41 That is a great quote. He had some great quotable moments during his run
1:40 "Well, maybe now I can unf*** this f***ing planet then. Now f** off." -Malcolm Tucker, seeing his secret master plan come to fruition.
Imagine being a regular Victorian dude in London, penning a letter to one of your friends bout the t rex that appeared in the thames, and you hear some dude yelling "BIG SSEXY WOMAN!" on your roof
that moment when he's fixing his sleeves when he's showing bill the tardis and says "tardis for short" is so inexplicably attractive??? the confidence? the swag? the charm?
@@mihinomendoxa9246
And he/she should also re-create zero room, TARDIS is getting angry at him/her, he/she keeps exploding inside her.
*gets out of car*
“London... (holds up arms), what a dump”
Still the best line going
capaldi was truly great as the doctor because even though he looked like this refined, distinguished, white-haired scotsman, he was really just a big kid
I loved Twelve's outfits. So simple yet so unique
The way he says "your bombs gone" at 8:25 is gorgeous
Georgie Higgins he sounds american here
I like how pissed he gets when the viking villagers don’t believe him “HAVE YOU SEEN ODEN!”
How did you do that, what is that thing? (Clearly talking about the TARDIS) 6:54
12th - *Is Nardole, it's not my fault*
Nardole- "looks up and a little bothered"
One of the bests parts
"Now where is Clara Oswald?"
".....*I AM A DALEK*..."
"Yes you're a dalek now where's clara"
I love this
5:40 that always gets me no matter how many times I rewatch it
3:54 that's cute tho, how he's so fond of Clara that he really can't perceive her age
8:03 I love how he's like "U haven't met him, omg HOW"
