Sustainable rwhp of 800-1000 is much easier with your current setup. ESS should pay you for successful advertising their product!!!!
I like which one of the other guys on here suggested that you wrap your car so nobody knows that it is you. No need to spend more money except on half-shafts. Your car is a champion car. Don’t change the setup!!!! Good video!

Thanks! Def can’t beat this set up in cost and ease for 1000 hp and under. All the shops up here seriously love ess and only recommend it for customers that come in for a centri blower. A lot of die hard whipple guys up here and when I make more tq than them it’s pretty funny 😂

i know it might be a dumb question but do you have a catch can does even need it i been up all night i thought i was going whipple n now well im a straight daily il prolly never hot the tracjk bjt il hit the streets lol
If you go turbo you’re gonna miss the linear acceleration and predictability of the ESS. With turbos the power surge can be very unpredictable and send you to a wall specially at 1400 whp + depending on the turbo size.
Linear feels good and works very well for what I do

Have you been able to run 3s 60-130 with the G3R?
I went Whipple with my 19’ but want to try something different this time around on my 23’. I’m between Hellion TT or ESS G3R. The goal is a mid to high 3 sec 60-130 on the street.
G3r is only 15 psi on 100mm pulley. I’m ok with 4.4 as I tried it once. TT would be easier to achieve deep 3s as you would just boost ramp to 20 psi.
Now will the g3r do 3s? I think if u pulley down to like 90mm or 85mm you can do it easily. My car is just set up to do back to back 40 rolls at the local event on no prep so I’m more on the conservative side anyways. I’m fairly light on timing also at 16 degrees. Could be 20 but ehh we do 100 pulls in a 2 day event and rather have consistency and reliability
I appreciate the response man. The ESS is extremely efficient and you clearly have your car dialed in well. Mid 4s 60-130 can potentially get you a high 8 sec 1/4 mile given the proper launch. I basically have to decide if an extra $10K is worth another second of improvement in performance as far as 60-130 goes.

it does take longer to get a twin turbo car sorted out but i don’t like how you misrepresented twin turbo mustangs. plenty of them on a stock motor well figured out (boost ramp custom suspension etc) would be faster than any ess mustang. also dunno why you picked the most expensive parts to make twin turbo mustangs look bad.
Yes I understand you can go cheaper on all the parts. This is the only way I’d go TT. Why spend 2x the price vs ESS for sub 1000whp? Anything can be faster than with the right parts combo and set up. I ain’t say i can beat every TT mustang but i haven’t seen a single TT stock engine stock trans with 1800+ hits at 900+ whp. With the events that we have here where u do 50 pulls a day TT cars don’t last or survive. It really depends on what your goals are which I also discussed a lot in past videos
I’ve seen guys claim 10 psi only but it’s 10 psi hit and boost ramp to 20++psi. Def be interested in racing one but I don’t think they’d last very long and are typically more grudge race guys not 50 pulls a day guys. I’m here week after week having fun 900+ whp. Maybe there’s a few that will come play at powercruise 2024
I only see one turbo, that’s a lot of money for one turbo. Best to get the super charger and be done with it
