Chris I think you’ve got that new camera well under control. Your videos really are the best, thank you for not including music etc., just the reality of the scenery.
I totally agree, his videos have a sense of solitude and stillness which is very calming. No loud music, no overt sound bed, no fast editing. It's very pure and honest.
Village Pizza in Estes used to be the best Pizza in Norther Colorado. Been a lot of years since I ate there. That shot brought back a lot of memories. Thanks Chris!
Chris, I watch and enjoy your overland adventures. Keep doing what you do because people are enjoying our country through your videos. I want a jeep just like yours!
Welcome to come back jeep, with awesome video, I always like what you do with overland solo, serenity in forest, it's all videos is so cool, I really happy after being go to outdoors with solo, I love it so much
The STP comment had me cracking up! 😂 love your old content Chris! I like your new stuff as well but the stuff when you were truly solo was just classic Venture4WD!
9 hours in the airport. That's the pits. New shoes and bear spray it's about time you got those. Good job with the logs on the trail. Some how I knew you would find Pizza in this video. Beautiful photography!
Just discovered your channel recently and have been binge watching. Beautiful videography! But your sense of humor cracks me up. Love the dry wry humor
Awesome video and glad to see you back out on the trails. We met Rodney, Donna and the boys down in Florida when we lived there and when we moved back up to Tennesse they also did a trip up north an came to visit us. They are truly an amazing family that we consider family.
Good to see "Orange Crush" back. Next time, assuming you can't find rocks or logs, (and you have a shovel), you can dig out the opposite side, creating a deeper rut and thus pull the Jeep away from any trees.
Chris I think you will like the new Oboz that you purchased versus the older pair. I have the same ones you just bought and have been wearing for over 1 1/2 years they are still chugging along. Love the videos.....
Hey Chris i like these video specialy when you came in the town Nederland, i live in the Country Nederlandd in Europe. I follow your channel and seen all your videos and look forward to the next video, maybe i will come to the states next year. greeting from Nederland, Jac
Beautiful vlog as usual Chris! I so look forward to your videos and wish for more! Posting more, maybe commenting here and absolutely asking sincerely for Patreon support every single time can make this adventure last, and make your life easier! You're an entertainer Chris. People will support you if you ask.
Looks like you're handling the exposure levels and colour in the GH5 way better. Far less blown highlights, and the contrast isn't as harsh as before. Or maybe because you're in somewhat more cloudy conditions than before? Make sure you update the GH5 firmware to the latest version as it handles face detection autofocus much better than before.
In the U.K. We'd only run about 32/33 psi anyway. Both our Jeeps run that. The Cayenne is 43 rear 38 front unloaded. Chris, I'm curious what real world mpg you get on your Jeep and how much range between fills? Given the option would you have it with a frugal 2.8 turbo diesel?
@@g496r500t You are right. Toyota is no longer the largest auto manufacturer in the world. They are number 2. Volkswagen is now the world's largest automaker.

Great video Chris. Nothing like your Jeep back in the picture.

Those 24 minutes went by so fast. It’s pretty rare for me to forget that I’m watching a UA-cam video. Excellent work and thank you for sharing.

Wow, such a shock to see the Patriot LandCruiser just parked up over there. It was built just up the road from me here in Australia.
Your use of B roll is exceptional Chris... another great vid!

Using those logs was a neat trick. I'll have to remember that.
Welcome back to the tangerine machine. Great vid. A lot of wonderful scenery, Jeep shots and narration. I look forward to your next adventure.
The Stoke Is High! LOL. First series I've watched, love the content, quality and laid back style. Thanks for posting!

I'll Third that...And perfect Bronco Orange to boot!
You really capture the camping experience with the lonely nature sounds.

Or stick completely to the side of the trees ... That keeps the roof away from them
I’m loving your adventure Chris
There is a Nepalese restaurant in Nederland that makes AWESOME chai tea. Was a favorite after climbing place to eat and relax.
Chris I think you will like the new Oboz that you purchased versus the older pair. I have the same ones you just bought and have been wearing for over 1 1/2 years they are still chugging along. Love the videos.....
The scenery is stunning!

Awesome 👍🏼 the Jeep is back!!
The Stone Temple Pilots air filter joke made me bust out laughing. HA HA HA!
Stone temple pilots had me cracking up! I say the same thing.
Daniel Goss, Scott W. left us to soon!
I am smellin' like the rose that somebody gave me on my birthday deathbed!
Dang I was in Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park the week after you. Too bad I missed ya. Have fun on the trails
Your widening the trail, put the center the axle over the rut. cool video.

Nice vid, very relaxing.
You know, that's a good, economical way to do it! Use a tent with all you need, then stay in a hotel as needed. Cost effective.
Safe travels brother!
We miss the AluCab
So when you said you were in the vicinity of DNM were you on the loop up on little mountain by the flaming gorge?
Always look forward to Fridays! Could you use a GoPro? Let me know?
Thanks Chris!! That was great!!
Could you tell me what is the name brand of your tool bag you used? Thanks
BTY great video.
Awesome trip...
Hey Chris love the videos bud keep them coming. I would like to email you about supporting you and Jennifer. I just think you guys are awesome.
I enjoyed the video, do you recall where you got the tool bag from?
I believe it’s by Blue Ridge Overland Gear
Thanks!
Another great Vid.... Thanks
You like Patriot's 79 series Supertourer then you need to check out their 200 series Megatourer :)
That pizza looked AWESOME

I'm interested in his MPG too. How do you like the 2.8 turbo diesel?
Thumbs up for the Stone Temple Pilots air filter joke with a totally straight face.
Omg. Spit out my coffee at Stone Temple Pilots air filter.
Would a Subaru Outback be capable for these camping trips? Or would I need to step up to a Wrangler ?
Gray Fox Outbacks are very capable vehicles. Look into a mild lift or larger tires if you want to take it to the next level! Get out there already!!!
toyota 4runner
You’ll never be the same again after being in a Toyota.
2007-2011 JK is garbage. 2012-2018 with the Auto is pretty solid.
@Josh Reed, That's the truth. He'll never want to get inside one again. That's the way I am after driving many of them. Many.

LOL Stone Temple Pilots filter hahaha!
Ok, the Stone Temple Pilots reference was funny.
Do you live in your jeep or do you have a house also?
Vegetables!!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I have thous shoes. I like them alot. But they do need an insole.
your diet?? dog food??
You really should hang that trasharoo away from your jeep at night. Helps keep the bears away.
Kids don't like being touched on head. Me either.
Taka Yama Then why did god make them so short?
Eeeeee! Jennifer next week?
Please consider a K&N for an air filter. My Wife won't have a vehicle without one. She has seen the difference.
It's dangerous to watch you sir because you make pretty tasty food shooting from nowhere...
First!
Salomon GTX ULTRA'S are much better
Second
Great video!
